So relatable!! One of the most difficult things in medical school has been maintaining the motivation to keep pursuing this difficult field despite getting mediocre grades/class rank during clinical rotations despite studying a lot, when in the past motivation stemmed from a sense of achievement from getting good grades after hard work. I occasionally felt a sense of helplessness bc I was already giving my all but couldn't attain my goals. Still working on making a transition in my mindset that grades are not what matters, but rather our steady accumulation in knowledge to help patients. Although we struggle with this because of the competitive environment we immersed ourselves in, we're also so fortunate to choose the medical field because like you said, patients really help us shift our mindset and remind us of the true valuable goals in our lives ☺

Yaa i too think when we encounter people at different levels in our life we realise that even if u think you were top till now but when u look around u yoy will find morr competent and better people around you ... That thing always gives u a chance to level up your game and be a better version of yourself . Ya and i guess your parents and only a few people are there who are going to truly support you at the difficult times of your life and they are the only one that will be happiest on your success and now getting jealous!!! Btw thank you for these advices ✨😌😌

I thought I was the only one who felt inadequate and incompetent, but it's nice to know that on the other side of the world there is someone who experiences the same internal challenges as you.
