When I tell you that I'm so happy and proud of you Sundai. When you got emotional, I got emotional. I've watched you since Korea; the racism, the health issues. I distinctively remember that tiny apartment near the bamboo forest, and seeing notifications for new videos you posted there. You've come so far. You've worked so hard and I'm so so proud of you. I've grown with you, I went through my own hellish fever dream of 2022 when I moved to a big city and went through mental and emotional strain from work to where I lived, and it worked out. I made it work out. But mostly importantly, God made it work out for me. God IS good. Giving me good people to guide me and help me out. As he did you. I'm excited to see you future endeavors. I'll be down for the ride. Our community maybe not be massive, but we'll support you. We have your back. Your personality has gathered people who truly care about you, always remember that. Stay safe and I hope to meet you in person one day when I visit Japan. Bye-bye from a 25 year old black girl who you've inspired so much.
FYI the water heater is a tankless water heater. They are more and more common here in the States and they are amazing. They never run out of hot water, you don't need a huge water tank, and they are much more energy efficient as they don't need the burner to be always on, only on when you need it. The old big tank water heater is going the way of the Do-Do.
Was gonna say this, too. And also I assume you won’t have to worry about flooding your house out due to a tank that suddenly ruptures. I’ve been through that twice and it is not pretty. My current house has a big ol’ medieval tank and once in awhile I just look at it and think “Don’t you even think about it, ma’am.”
Sundai you totally deserve this life, and if there was a job of a Ramen 🍜 influencer, I would totally support you 🍃 I’m happy to see that you’re getting to finally live the life that you deserve that you’ve worked incredibly hard for and have influenced so many others through your hard work and determination❤❤
From one black girl working to manifest her dream life to another. Congratulations, I am so happy for you. You did good and you deserve everything. and more. Love from Kongo ❤
It’s not easy starting and building a life on your own in a foreign country. I live in America and I’ve grown up around many foreigners (Mexican, Japanese, Korean, African, Chinese, etc.). I never understood the weight of immigrating to a new country and not knowing the language, etc. as an adult, I now can only fathom 5% of what the experiences, feelings, through sand hardships that comes from starting & building a life in a new country. You are bold. Courageous & living your best life. Isn’t this what life is about? I found your channel a few years back (: I’m happy to see you live your best life! ! And what that “best life” looks like changes as we grow older! That is one thing I realized 🥰 I’ve always wanted to live in Spain. I hope one day I’ll get the courage too 🥰 even if it’s for a summer!
There are no words to express how happy I am for you and all that you’ve achieved. You give hope and happiness to others along with inspiration letting others know they can do it, too. More and more blessings, sweet girl!
Yo, like she keeps getting better. Transitions, captions, just your growth is [insert smart word here] PRESENT!! I'm so grateful to watch this growth, encouragement, testimony all wrapped in a personality that I can relate to. You are needed & I appreciate you sharing your journey so much! 🌿☘️🍀🌱🌾
I’m so very happy for you Sundai for this new chapter in your life . I can’t wait for you to finish setting up your space !!!! I know it’s going to be amazing!!! You’ve worked so hard for this and you’re literally living the life of your dreams ang that’s so inspiring to all of us that watch your vlogs and follow along on your journey. Definitely more gardening content 🌿🪴Ash is best friend goals , he’s so supportive 🤗🥰🥰🫶
you lucked the frik out with that heater! The traditional kinds just hold water in a tank and keep heating it wether it is in use or not and then can run out anyway. Your water heater is ON DEMAND!!!! It uses far less energy and you'll never run out of hot water. Lucky!!
I love following your life in Japan 😊Your vibe is amazing! I was hoping in the near future maybe we’d see you going out with your friends to unique places in Japan?
You’re really selling the ‘live in a beach town’ dream. I might just have to risk it all one day 🌚 Thank you for this video, it’s the perfect vlog to watch on a Sunday evening 🥰🫶🏾
I think that's an on-demand water heater for the sink. main water heater is probably small or too far to get hot water in a timely manor or hot enough, so you put one in. and it's gas so that sound is the gas lighting up for it to ignite to use. So excited for the free compost tho! That's amazing!
The thing I love about my current house in Japan is how open everything is right now. The kitchen has a nice view over our big living room, and we have sliding doors dividing the living room with our hobby room hahah
🌱 excited for plant content and also the great vlogs you provide! I imagined myself in that end scene and 200% knew Id get teary eyes in your position! Sundai, you definitely deserve it all!
That hot water box is a califont! It's on-demand, unlimited hot water and actually pretty expensive I think! It's more modern than hot water cylinder 😊
I need you to keep posting these videos for people like myself that you inspire. I need you to lean into this chapter of your life you created for yourself, and embrace the fact you are worthy. Proud doesn't measure what I feel watching you fulfill your dreams and push all the boundaries. I hope to do the same so I can share my results from being inspired by you. Keep at it sis we all rooting. ❤
Hi Sundai. I can't wait for your walking/biking around your neighbourhood content to start up again! I really missed it from your early days living in the bamboo forest house!
It’s Tankless hot water heater actually saves you money. Only heats as needed. Aka. Only when you turn it on Regular water heaters are constantly heating water all day
Hello Sundai, Congratulations on your new home . Continuous blessings . Thank you for you Awesome content you provide, that show me that All is still possible never give up and keep the faith. So Thank you so much🌺👑
Gurl, I thought you bought the neighborhood trap house with that two door with the one side padded situation. 😁 In all seriousness, your house looks beautiful. Love that it’s so close to things you enjoy. Thanks for sharing ☺️.
It's an on demand hot water heater. It's actually a more modern invention. Giant hot water heaters are very wasteful because you're heating water 24/7 despite only needing it occasionally. I'm about to replace a standard 30 gallon water heater with on demand units for bathrooms and kitchen!
It’s a gas hot weather heater…it heats the H2O as you open the tap so you don’t have a tank to fill…so you never run out of hot water. You see them in France, Spain, Portugal, Italy…..
Congrats on the new place. Thank you for always inspiring with your content. I love your veggie content as much as the food. 🥬🍜Wishing you a blessed and fun life!
Kamakura has a special place in my heart. Would you take us around? The main street, temples, riding the adorable tram, enoshima, etc. I would love to relive my past visit through your vlog. Oh yes to more🍄🥦🥬🥕
No, free program for compos in Canada, I do wish but not a chance😂. Your water heater for hot water is a lot smaller than what most of us have. Mine is a 50-gallon tank sitting in the basement. In time, you will learn to like everything about your new place. I'm 💯 sure. Take your time enjoying it.
That would be a tankless hot water heater, and it's more efficient than a tank style heater because it only has to operate when you're using water instead of maintaining temperature in a 60+ gallon storage tank.
wiiiiiiiiiiiii sundai sundayyyy finally :D you're really helping me through the week bc i got my finals soon and need some exciting stuff to look forward to - to make it through the week hahahahah
