I own a 2001 non turbo nb, can't say I have any of the issues you have, although I have replaced the soft top which I don't think was really designed to last forever
How many lbs of boost are you running? I have the same step up on mine, only difference is mine is grey and stock muffler and I have a bigger front mount intercooler and same flyin' Miata intake kit, sick car btw!
Cesar melchor I fell like it did but I don't have any proof. the car will run richer, witch is good and bad. give it a try and see if you like it. There is a lot of info about the mod online.
I'll be surprised after 10yrs the paint is still good. probably someone tried waxing it before and didn't do right. its just wear and tear, man. gives it character lol
I keep a cover on mine in my driveway...never let the 🌞 sun beat on the paint...think about the sunburn you’d get stationery for hours..reason why yours burns oil is because you drive the car harder than most people do..you’re lucky you don’t live in NY that engine light would be a big headache for you...you wouldn’t pass inspection every year..

Joe the miata is a good car its small so if you take a lot of stuff with you or want to travel you have to pack light. they get good not I'd they are stock or close to it. they don't make loads. of power so you won't be able to keep up with the big guys on the street but if you track it you will most likely win (if you can drive it right) mine is far from stock what I am yelling you is for a stock one. and Mazda s are amazing if you treat them right and keep up on the mamtincess.
Maxx Weber the p/o did not take care of it. I got it for a lot less then it is worth because of the damage to the paint and the the rough condition it was in. I am slowly getting it to look better. and yes wax is amazing I use mothers.
