Best thing for chapped lips that I found is carmax medicated lip balm in the tiny little jar. Works better than anything and I use it all year round even over my lipstick. I use it day and night.

Hi Marnie - I know what you mean about the “wear one outfit and hibernate” thing when it’s super cold out. I spent a harsh winter in Kansas a while back - I think on the rare occasions I emerged from the house, I wore the same jeans, the same boots, and switched between two different turtleneck sweaters. I couldn’t stand the thought of putting on anything else. So very sorry about the loss of your sweet little Mimi - no matter how long they live, we’re never ready to say goodbye 😔

I ordered some paper white bulbs from Magnolia Home (Joanna Gaines store) and I love them. They are arranged in a pottery bowl and have green moss around them. I have had them for several years and they still look great.

For your lips, I follow Doctorly on RU-vid. They are a dermatologist duo and they said actually the aquaphor lip products don’t really help. They suggested La Roche Posay Cicaplast multi use cream. My youngest had some chapped lips and I put that on her lips twice a day and it cleared up and hydrated her chapped and cracked lips.

I’m thinking because of all the content you create you bring in quite a bit of “beautiful things” but I’m also thinking you probably need to do “clear outs” to keep life manageable😅 I am always inspired by watching how others take care & keep up with their personal stuff. One of my general rules is when I bring something new in…something that no longer “serves me” goes out(Marie Kondo). I’m not militant about it… but it really brings me peace & I’m enjoying all my things a little more🙌🏻

I haven't been loving my Walmart purchases, so I stopped shopping there. I feel like the quality is just not the same, and I am getting what I paid for. Really enjoyed the video as usual! But I have an unrelated question. I desperately need some good old fashioned panty hose/tights in tan or nude. My legs just cannot do the pretty skirts and dresses anymore without some help to cover veins etc. Self tanner helps but I hate having to fool with it all winter. I love my legs and want to show them off but the age on them is showing. HELP!! Everything I have tried from Target to Amazon runs or snags quickly and does not give much coverage. It's great if you can wear opaque of sheer black tights but a lot of the time I want my " natural" colored legs!! Thanks!!

Thank you-I would recommend talking with your doctor to find a way to eat that works with your own personal needs and medical history. As far as skincare, I share a lot of my favorites-but I would attribute the diligent use of prescription tretinoin every night for a decade to my skin's appearance. That and Botox!

I'm so sorry you lost your Mimi. I have a beagle and she is my heart. But that's the last outfit she saw you in. Perhaps it can be special for that reason. I'm uber sentimental though. I see things so differently than most.

I was just in Pottery Barn looking for an arrangement for my dining table and saw a white pitcher with 2 bunches of small daisys and other spring flowers. Each small bunch (and 2 were needed for this small pitcher) were $60 each. Yikes. Add that to the small pitcher ($50) and you've got quite an investment. Thanks for the tips!

Like you, we had to leave the house at 3:30 am to say good bye to my fur baby Tucker. He took his last breath in my arms. I was wearing a Barefoot Dreams cardigan. He purged on me and I didn’t even know. I cried endlessly. Even though I’ve washed the cardigan, I can’t wear it again. It made me so sad. I’ve hidden it in storage. I don’t think I’d be able to ever wear it again, but it’s too good to give it away 😢. I’m sure your Mimi is bouncing around on the other side the of 🌈 bridge chasing squirrels.
