Thank you for sharing your plans for Lent. I also practice Lent and usually give something up. In the past, it has been Diet Coke, but truthfully, I just don’t go get one very much anymore. However, lately, I’ve noticed that I’m reaching for a sandwich, or a piece of bread with almost every meal. And when I’m reaching for that bread, I’m not reaching for something else that might be just a little less processed. For me, this isn’t about carbs. This is about forcing myself to look at other ways of enjoying my food without bread! In other words, sloppy joes on a sweet potato, or a hamburger wrapped in lettuce, , or an omelet instead of a breakfast sandwich. And then, I also love your idea of getting in 5 servings of produce - so I’m going to copy that one as well. And I’ll be tracking it. Anyway, my goal is to find healthier grains to use that aren’t quite as processed as bread. This means we are DEFINITELY having pancakes on Tuesday! And then I’m freezing them until Lent is finished.

I think I might have to get some of those Bible studies. Maybe they'll be a good incentive for catching up on my Bible reading goal for 2022. I like the plan I'm doing now, but I'm struggling to stay engaged, so I'm looking at other options... like topical studies, writing plans, or figuring out how to build in a little more accountability. (I'm also looking at some of the tabs and maybe the highlighters if I don't find some sooner). I set some pretty strict goals for social media/phone usage that kinda got thrown out the window with all the chaos earlier in the month, but I'm getting back on it tomorrow. I also have a goal to catch up on my Bible reading goal by April 5th (I'm currently on February 12, so I have a lot of work to do).

I know. It just feels like a lot of work, but actually I guess that means I can curate which stories I see when Lent is over! Hmmm

You can mute peoples stories on Instagram! Posts too. When a story pops up click the 3 little dots in the top corner & look through its menu

I know. I did do that and it was not a great move for engagement on my content. So now I’m just implementing self control.
