Great job on the studio setup, can tell a lot of thought and work went into it for a first attempt at a true "RU-vid studio" space. And happy to see the return of one of my personal fav video categories, love to see what records still wow and excite those who deal with records everyday.
Really like the studio, the background lighting and the mirrors are so pleasing to the eye. Even the table is perfect. Audio is perfect, and once again your love of vinyl shines through. Keep on smiling man. Thanks.
Just last week walked into an antique store in Tennessee and that Ike and Tina Turner Was one of the first records I saw. $30 in pristine shape. Is in my collection now.
Mike, forget the wife. who cares how cute and adorable she was? This is our new life. Records and youtube. you have thousands of people watch each video you put out, including me. I've been watching since your subscriber count was in the 1 thousands. crazy thing is, you look better than ever. I look forward to the future, and you're in it brother!!!
haha you guys sound like women. I dont care about your feelings or what you think is appropriate and neither does Mike, owner of the in groove. I'm in your corner brother!
Long time prog collector here... love J.E.T. & L'Uovo Di Colombo. Great score on those 2... odd that the guy had just those 2 (did he know their worth?) OG Italian prog lps will always demand hi dough.
Wow! Crazy you would show those Italian Prog records. I recently just got both of those within a few weeks of eachother. Great examples of Italian prog. Great video ✌️
In late September I’m going somewhere that will let me stop at The In Groove and I hope, beyond hope, it’s a week when you’ve brought some of your home goods to the shelves
Nailed it. Bit further back from the camera. Sound is spot on and the background is further back and not the clichéd wall of vinyl. Chapeau Mike, chapeau
OMG! You must have been the one to pick it up from music direct. I had my sights on this Frank Sinatra Mofi. It was 200 and I thought no one was going to get it...lol. lol and behold it's gone... Oh maybe that wasn't you...
Just stumbled on your channel. I have been loving going back through your videos. Phoenix used to be my old record collecting stomping ground between ‘08 and ‘12. Were you in business then? I’m gonna be disappointed if you say yes lol. I was mainly going to Revolver Records back then.
Love you doing these recent pickup video's. I have known you lived down Tampa way for a while, but when you said Bubba The Love Sponge it cracked me up. I grew up in North Tampa around Florida and Fletcher and went to Chamberlain HS.✌
I was also 81 at chamberlain, Im sure we knew alot of the same people....I hung out alot at the Red Rose Pub, Mrs Lucky's and Brass Mug. Have a Good one Mike✌🤘
Fantastic job on your new set! Very easy in the eyes! I want to ask you where I should look to find the value of a Beatles boxed set I won on an auction site. I think I only won because I went to the preview and just happened to pull it out and see what the front said. It was with three other boxes sets mostly classical some Christmas. The Beatles box is about 1 3/4" thick, blue, and the other three were only about 3/4" thick, red. None are in plastic and they've been played but the covers are all pristine. Didnt pull any out to see how clean they were but all the CDs I bought from the same were like new and each CD was placed upright in each case I sampled.
Thanks for the video! Love the weekly "new releases", the store tour, the live RSD. Question, if you're comfortable-what did you pay for Pet Sounds? If not, was it a reasonable price? Haven't been to the store yet. Will visit soon for the Lee Morgan blue vinyl release.
Great content Mike!! I too love promo copies, having worked in radio for nearly 30 years. They often aren't the best sounding, but I like them for the rarity.
