If you're spending $150+ on a rod go on and get a St. Croix Rod. Shimano Terex Spinning or Daiwa Spinning Reels. He got a shop. He gonna talk you to buying the prices items. Just saying!

That Mirrolure you paid $8.68 for....I bought 6 at WALMART for like $2.49 each in Corpus Christi Tx. I bought gold foil and silver. great at night under lights for feeding trout and macks. In PCB area, we fish the pier on the west end, in the park. just a few steps onto the pier and you are in REALLY deep water.
@@packerjh2 , sorry, but Im not paying 4X the real price so some local guy can make a living. Straight up, if the real price of an item is 2$ and some local shop has it for $8 or more...sucks to be them, cause I aint that guy anymore. Just cause you want to be in business, doesnt mean I have to support you by paying outrageous prices for the items I can get cheaper at Walmart. Locals either can get competitive, get specialized or get another person to support them, it aint me. When I work, I get paid the going rate for my skills. I dont get paid 4 times that rate just cause Im local. I dont get to charge more money for my labor just cause Im a man, or Im a vet, or because Im white, or because Im local....nope, no one pays anything higher than what the lowest rate is. So, as to supporting local businesses, sure....so long as they dont gouge me, if they do....screw em'. Walmart is down the street.
Now this is a teaser video of what is coming up. That’s a really nice tackle store. Mark how far is it from where you live to fish the salt ? Would be cool if you could use some of this stuff locally more often. You bank fishing for reds is one of my favorite videos.
Great area in gulf Breeze they have a park with fishing pier great for trout. U can wade that Shoreline for several miles inside park. On other side fish off road going to government Facility in Santa Rosa dunes. People throw Castnet catch squid best bait big pier.
Man when I lived in PCB Fla we used 10-12 surf rods but the key was a bubble rig with a steel leader 3/0 trible hook and a good old McDonalds straw caught more Spanish than one could want
I just got back from Florida where I did a week of kayak fishing in the southwest part of the state. I caught my PB snook (30") but the absolute highlight was when I caught my dream bucket list fish - a tarpon!
Oh I'm excited for the next upload I hope your trip was excellent and I hope you got a Spanish on your list but also if you went and got skunked I'm excited to see that too it's apart of the game anyways take it easy.
