I just hope that toni will write her own book about life, experience, family and career. Bibili talaga ako thats for sure. You inspire me with this segment. Akala ko by understanding the words of God is enough but its not. I realize that you have to read it whole heartedly, trusting god by his words and putting God as the center of your living.
I think nag umpisa na xa. I saw it sa vlog nila ni rica about writing her own story. Writing a book takes really long. So baka when she turns 50 ma release na yan. Just like a few holliwood celebs pag 50 na. 😃
I was a non believer back then and mocked The Bible. At times of my struggles I had no one to run, until I heard a voice telling me to open the book. It opened my heart and gave me the sense of peace and serenity that I never ever experienced . You can’t read The Bible, it talks to you. Praise the Lord above. Praise Lord Jesus Christ

As I started on the goal to read the entire Bible, I noticed that all of these self-help books contained the ideas. The concepts of gratitude, being calm in the midst of a storm, remaining still, mind setting, how humility influences your daily human interactions, and more. I did not completely believe in Christ before, but as I went through the pages and studied them. It is alive. The words are alive, and so is He. What an incredible true God Jesus is. I hope you have been blessed today and will read the Bible as well. May God bless everyone.

What I love about Ms. Toni is her power to inspire people. I'm at this point of my life wherein the only thing I know how to do and was the only measurement of my worth was my previous job. Now that I left, I felt like I'm useless. I'm no longer earning the exact same amount and I don't know where exactly I am going. I am a Bachelor's Degree Holder and I have no plans of pursuing it. Now that I left my job, how am I supposed to live? 😢 I know no one's gonna save me if not myself.. but I'm hoping and praying that a day will come.. He'll open that door for me again when I'm ready to walk with Him. Jesus, I trust in you. Help me.
No amount of title and achievements can satisfy once life. Katagalan, mapapagod ka talaga and you will feel empty. Iiwan mo ang lahat at hindi yun maiintindihan ng tao. Sasabihan ka ng tanga at bobo. Kasi bakit mo nga naman iiwan, ang ganda ng work at sahod mo diba. Tapos ngayon, sisimula ka ulit sa nganga. Pero alam mo ang pinakamahalaga? Sabi nga ni Ms.Toni, yung ikaw mismo na nasa gitna ng arena, hindi yung mga nakaupo sa bench. Magsalita at sumigaw lang naman ang alam nilang gawin. Ikaw mismo ang naglalaro sa buhay mo. Nasa sa iyo kung paano ka mananalo hanggang dulo. 🙂

Wow. I was waiting for her to mention the Bible, and she did because if you follow her she was quoting verses on some of her interviews. The Bible is the book of life and as you can see her, the books she has read transformed her and gave her wisdom but on top of all that, God is using her, her platforms, her influence, her wisdom to give Him the glory. As Christians, our purpose is to glorify God, to listen to God's Word and not our heart and not our self because according to Jeremiah, the heart is deceitful. I was just hoping that she has the Biblical lens to her choices of books and how she applies this lens to the books. And TD Jakes is a false prophet...more on the prosperity gospel. Self-denial not the best version of self...we only become our best if Christ is in us.

One of my favorite book is the The Greatest Salesman in the World by Og Mandino. Di ko makalimutan dahil book report ko to when I was in college. I rarely read books coz I'm more into reading newspapers and magazines. But I really love ready and all kinds of literature. Thanks for sharing Ms Toni.

Wow! I remember being fascinated with reading again after I watched your Toni Talks with Rica Peralejo from way back...I can't remember the year na. I'm currently reading Mere Christianity, When Women Ruled the World, and re-reading Atomic Habits again.. When you mentioned the word "crushing", I immediately remembered T.D Jakes. You should also try his book Soar. I'm into self-help, history, theology/Christian, autobiography, and biography books - and sometimes, classics. Ofc, nothing beats God's Word that is living and active - the best selling book of all time. You can go on your day without reading those books, but not the Bible - our weapon / sword. We must be equipped, wearing the full armor of God at all times..
