I cannot adequately express how thrilled I am to have found you! You are so full of love, life and talent. I am in the process of awakening from life long depression. Sewing has been my life raft, but there is even more I wish to express. I admire you and hope you can embrace allowing me to adopt you as my mentor. Oh my goodness, I just found you!!!!!! I noticed your “Jesus” shirt and I want to say, you are a beautiful woman and Jesus is in your countenance!!!! I currently have my machines getting cleaned and serviced in anticipation I will get the sewing bug!! My mother always wanted me to learn to quilt, but quilts just aren’t my calling! Sadly, my parents both passed last year 3 months from each other. I have been spending a lot of time in the garden this spring and summer which has helped me through grief. I inherited quite a lot of fabrics from my mothers stash. She loved sewing and was making aprons for grandchildren and neighbors just a few months from her passing. I will be watching your videos as you are such an uplifting person and you are a wonderful teacher! These pattern companies should hire you as a model for their patterns! They all look stunning on you!!!! My problem with sewing has always been that clothing looks homemade, mainly because they don’t fit quite right. I’m hoping to learn how to fit to my body. First time I have seen your channel. You are such a delight, just what this world needs right now. I have "officially" been sewing since I was 13 years old, I am now 72...mom used to give me fabrics to make doll clothes in my youth. Although I don't sew clothes much any more (I usually quilt) I still I do like to see all types of sewing videos. Your warmth comes through and you brighten my day.

I too relied on Jesus and a sewing machine (taught myself to quilt, for starters) when going through my recovery from both breast and uterine cancer. So I will be buying your book as I’m sure it contains a lot of wisdom. As for your outfits… ~ That suit is indeed SHARP, and you were rocking it. Seriously, it was a knockout! ~ Your Birthday outfit was BEAUTIFUL, and very, very flattering! The halter style looks very good on you and I would reconsider passing it along - at least until you wear it and that stunning hat to the Kentucky Derby!! ~ All of your outfits were amazing and you do an incredible job of selecting garments that flatter your figure. Madam. That suit is everything. I am going to try to do more sewing this year. I got a serger for Christmas and I am going to do more sewing because I find I can make things that fit the way I like and in fabrics that I like.
