What we spend money on is a pretty fundamental decision - 🚙🍩🍸🧣👖… we spend the valuable hours of our life working to earn money. So, in a way, our money is a representation of how we spend our time on this earth (and our limited energy). And how we then spend that money then tells us what we are willing to give up our life for. Deep stuff for a video about what I spend in a month, I know, but kind of crazy when you put it like that, isn’t it!?
So, in this video I split my expenses into my needs, wants and expenses in running this RU-vid channel - firstly, because this was a super helpful exercise for me. Secondly because I love this type of video. And thirdly because I hope it gives you some benchmark against which to consider how you’re spending your hard earned cash.

I'm a lawyer, part-time RU-vidr, son, brother, startup founder, fiancé, black coffee drinker and plant dad. I graduated from Cambridge University (where I studied French and Spanish), topped my law school class and now work for a corporate law firm in London as a trainee solicitor (which takes up a lot of my time)!
