So so pleased and refreshing to see someone spending on good food, experiences, and holidays etc. In my 40s I went through a "saving time" eating cheap food, fizzy energy drinks instead of Starbucks etc. Anyhow... Paying for it bigtime now with dental expenses and poor health issues. Enjoy your life, continue to do what you do. You're inspiring.
Girl, this could've been a foodie vlog because the meals looked really good. Hope you and your hubby enjoy your time at Disney World. Tell Mickey I said "hey!" Tfs
Haha DINK, this is my lifestyle goal right now as well! I recently finished a 30 day challenge of tracking every dollar spent, and was definitely surprised to see how much money just disappeared with nothing to show for it!
We are tracking our budget as well. One has to consider the cost of living in their area. I love your video and I would love to see a foodie video. Have a great week. Love you
I would say make sure it's not a neighbor who is placing nails in the road. My Dad had this problem where he lived when I was younger, and this crazy neighbor put nails and glass in front of his tires, and he would drive over them, not knowing they were there. He had to repair tires so often before he finally moved away.
Ngl I was nervous to watch this one because my husband and I are also DINKs and recently made a big purchase so we're penny-pinching now haha. But it'll be worth it! It's refreshing to see that you save your drinks for the next day - I always slurp up my drink within the first hour LOL
i’ve been tracking my weekly expenses and never realized how much i truly spend on things. but i’m doing so much better than i was😅 enjoying our days may include a fun $8 boba drink and that’s okay!!
I seriously find in life after 25 it is the misc random expenses and like you bills you get just driving around that has to be watched! I just got a 75 ticket for speeding so yeah.
Hi Maya I loved the video! But I would prefer if you could please do your ad portion all at once. The first half of the video felt like one big ad which turned me off. I still watched the whole thing but just wanted to let you know for the future.
In San Francisco tickets avg $60 to $98 from experience. Racked $1000 plus in tickets last year avg one a month 😅. 2023 and moving forward no more ✋️🛑.
Maya! That's not much for a couple! I'm also a 30-something DINK and our weekly averages to around 800. I think it's because we love going to restaurants and one meal at a nice restaurant (with a few drinks) is around $200-250 which we budget once a wk. I assume you guys don't drink so that probably saves a lot of money for you guys!
Thanks for the video Maya! I always considered myself as a saver who sticks to a budget, but I think this week I’ll try to keep track of what I actually spend. I’m curious if it’s more than I think!
