THAT WAS AMAZING, Toby! I am so going to try & create some different sized bases using this technique. Thankx for the info. Question: "Can I just drill small holes, like to secure a figures' feet, into the created base with a Mini-Drumel tool, without cracking the base? And do I need a certain kind of drill bit to drill into silicone? I have now also subscribed to your channel...too.
hey i am getting started in sulpting clay monsters( from the shoulders up), i already have the tools and acrylic paints, all i need now to get started are the bases, i dont have any equipment to make them myself and dont know where i could buy them, i saw some websites but they are too big, am looking for them just about the size you are showing in this video, maybe even 3 inches bigger, i cant get started without the bases and it really sucks, do you know where i could buy them? also do you sell bases like that? if you did i would definetly buy them, as you see am in desperate need xD.
