Maybe a piece of thin felt for the whites of the eyes? I guess you'd still be gluing or sewing it on though. Those bags are so cute! I always wanted a crocheted bag to hold my hooks but couldn't think of a way to do it without hook-sized holes haha

I’ve always personally have loved the eyes on your Amigurmies. I think the new eyes look painted….don’t get me wrong they are cute but I love your sewn eyes. Maybe you need a base like gesso/glue so the eyes don’t look bumpy (due to the crochet stitch itself). Maybe you might have to do it it layers. Thanks for sharing🤗

Wondering it a medium like gesso under the paint would help ? I adored the Ice Cream Cotton, I was/am so bummed about it .
