HOLY MOLY! I didn't realize you were the guys behind this game!?!?! I backed the Kickstarter the moment I discovered it! the game looks great, great, great!
This looks great, and I bet it's a lot of fun (and work) working on it! Wish I had time to work on a project like this. Enjoy the fruits of your labor, and it was really nice hearing from you. You've been missed. =)
It's great to see talented, independent artists attached to new retro game projects like these. The same thing happened with Savaged Regime for the Megadrive game Xeno Crisis. This game looked and sounded amazing from the start. Backed the kickstarter for both the PCE CD and Megadrive versions and can't wait to finally play it. ^^
@@Michirin9801 haha. I realized that a bit late, but great to see you branch out. I'm a big fan of your PC Engine covers. Especially for Carat, Asuka 120% and Final Fight.
@@Yuuretsu Thanks again! But it's worth mentioning, my chiptunes are me branching out, and more of a hobby than anything, I've been doing pixel art and 2D art in general for a much longer time...
@@Yuuretsu Yes, some of which I can't disclose, but others are just personal projects, including a full (short) game I've made on my own, released and showed off on my channel
Looks great, backed it for the TG-16 ROM, I love it when kickstarters do this, allows the many retro fans who dont have old hardware anymore to still support enjoy these great games.
Just pledged the highest I could for all the versions! I was wondering where you'd went, but I'm happy to see you spent your time productively! And I'll be waiting patiently :)
WOW!! This looks amazing!!! Keep up the good work!! Did you do the music too? I'm just really amazed at all of this!! I got both of the demos, I just wish I had some spare cash to support you!! Seriously!! This. Is. SO. COOL!!!
@@Michirin9801 If this game were around back in the day, I genuinely think it would regarded as a classic. Even today I would consider it a classic! It looks like a lot of time and dedication went into making this game, and that kind of love for games is one that I hold a very high respect for. Will this game be sold? I'll be sure to get a copy when it's finished. Good Luck and keep making content!! I'll be sure to watch it!
There was another game that a team made for the turbografx16, kinda recently iirc but I cant remember the name. Anyway nice job, this is a pretty cool project
wow! it's good to see that you're working on something so cool, I've met you because of your pc-98 videos a long time ago (I think those don't exist anymore) and you're the person that got me into pc-98 so I have to thank you for that! good luck on your project, I'm sure it will be an amazing game
I love Miss Michirin's art style so much and I'm also friends with DK so this was a no brainier for me. Definitely will try and get the other versions as well, but for now Super CD will do! I'm so glad to see the game got funded already and hope more people back this fun game! 🥰
THE BEAR is commenting so that THE BEAR can say he LIKED, COMMENTED, and SLUBSCRIBED In all seriousness I'd love to buy a Rom or ISO of this, it looks amazing.
I asked DarkKobold, he said he's not making the PCE CD ISO available, but that the Mega Drive version is coming soon, and that ROM should be available when it comes out. There is a PCE HuCard version coming eventually, that one has the best graphics out of any version so far, it just doesn't sound as good as the MD one (I didn't do the sound for that one, only the graphics)
@@WillowEpp Umm both? lol It's up to you really, the game is exactly the same on PCE and MD, just the PCE HuCard one has better graphics, and the MD one has better sound...
@@Michirin9801 I'm bad at paying attention, sorry... The worst thing is that the protagonist of every Haruhana Soft game so far has been a female and that there is no synopsis for the game! I am an idiot! My apologies, Michiharu!
@@mypkamax This isn't really a "Haruhana Soft" game, and I don't really use that name for anything anymore... Also, is it a problem that every protagonist I draw is female?
I suppose, the tecnhical side of things makes my brain hurt ;-; I'm sorry if I came across as if I'm demanding too much of you, the comment was just supposed to be a random thought of mine.
@@Michirin9801 Because I never programmed in assembly, I have no understanding of how people used to create the 3D assets for video games back in the late 1990s-early 2000s. Although I do know that they used to be made using expensive software and workstations at a time when this kind of tools and coding tools weren't as accessible as they are today.
So ancient Egyptian Castlevania basically? Looks pretty cool, I'll check it out! Whatever happened to that other game though? Magikana or whatever it was called? Is that still ever going to be a thing?
It's not cancelled, but I had a falling out with one of my helpers while the other one just went to do his own thing. Also I burned out on working on it. I'll still make it eventually, from scratch, all by myself, so don't hold your breath for it... It will come when it's done...
@@Michirin9801 Oh I see. Well I'm sorry about the falling out and the burnout but I am happy to hear that it's not canceled and I appreciate the reply! I wish you the best with making it and look forward to eventually playing it whenever that may be, as well as this one and anything else you may come out with, as all of the stuff I've seen from you so far has been really cool!
