you got a new subscriber here because of your transparency - thank you for the honesty, it's refreshing, and you're obviously beautiful inside and out!
Thank you so much for this honest video! I really appreciate your transparency exoecially given the fact you review makeup and skincare which might look quite different on a face without treatments. I am 49 years old and I never had any treatments nor do I want to, but I am a follower of your channel and I will be even more given your transparency. Your reviews are still very useful and with this information you allow me to give them the right perspective. Thank you and well done
Hello Erin. I’ve watched your videos from way way back. I think I discovered your channel or the first video I’ve seen was your Madhatter makeup. I’ve always thought you’re very beautiful both inside and out. I’m 52 and have Asian skin that tends to appear younger. But like you, I have the same skin concerns and I’m greatly considering getting these treatments. I’m glad you are doing more research on these and sharing your experiences too. 💜
You’re young. I had no lines or concerns even at 50 to 60 except for the 11s. Just came across your channel and I will follow. Love to learn how a smart younger woman does it :)
Erin, thank you for the informative video. I learned a lot about the different procedures. I’ve done Botox for the crows feet and I think it’s a choice for each person and not to be judged. I do everything I can to prolong the aging process whether it’s the LED face & neck masks, NuFACE, Botox (I’m not interested in filler or face lift). There’s a lot of treatments out there just have to pick what’s right for you. I appreciate your honesty Erin and I think you always look beautiful in your videos! 😊❤️
I completely agree and now there are so many great options to choose from. I also love my LED masks and topicals. As long as you feel good when you look in the mirror and you feel confident, that's all we can ask for! xx
Thanks for all the information, Erin! I have been thinking about IPL; I'll have to look into it You look amazing, I thought you were about 27!! Take care, Ginny 😘😘😘
Hi dear Erin, thanks so much for sharing!!!🤩🤩🤩🤩54 here, not anything in my face yet, i'm a bit afraid of needles and stuff, but i would never judge who does, why would i do that, everybody's own choice. I maybe want to do at some time something about starting smile lines, i thought botox would help, but that is filler? I'm afraid of filler the most i think. And when i cannot see very good anymore because my eyes are too hooded, maybe a surgery. My dear mother in law had this over 15 years ago, or longer ago, not sure, in hospital, and it was a succes, Erin! And i also see people who look surprised the rest of their lifes, in my huble opinion than, its their lives. So, i do not know yet, my eyes are starting to be a bit more hooded, its the start now. Neck, like you said maybe, but, again, afraid of needles and stuff. We have less sun here in The Netherlands but still sun, of course! So i avoid it, always shadow and SPF for me. However, i have hyperpigmentation of course. In the 80's/early 90's nobody knew yet the danger of the sun. Erin it was almost a contest who in the school turned back from holiday in Southern Europe most tan, it is so idiot when i think back, it's long ago. And born in 1970. In the 70's also nobody payed attention to this, well, almost nobody. With the knowledge we have now about the sun, we do! And i never skip my skincare, i only use Chantecaille or Barbara Sturm, because of my sensitive skin and because its good. About this video, i say never never, especially these smile lines that come more and more, i dislike, but i dont know what is safe. Interesting video, full with info, and you're so pure and honest always, thanks for you being you!!!❤
I definitely relate to the sun! It's my biggest regret in life, worshipping the sun without a care in the world. Great skincare can make a huge difference as well, treatments aren't the only way to improve our skin. At least if you have smile lines, it means you've smiled a lot in life and what a blessing that truly is :) xx
Thanks for honesty I start age 43 abd love just forehead and feel amazing a lot people think I'm 35 but I'm 45 but also greem smoothie and a lot workouts makes us look healthy and younger
I have a large red spot with freckles in my decolette area. If I use foundation on it, there is still a difference in tone between my face, neck, and chest skin. So, I stopped using foundation. I only use a pressed powder (Lancome, Dual Finish). No primer. The dry powder applied with the natural hair brush does not emphasize wrinkles. I am not hiding my skin imperfections but rather tone them down. I spend money on healthy food and quality skincare. I am 53, and those my age know everything about lack of estrogen in your system and the effect it makes on the skin and the rest of your body. I am just trying to be the best version of myself instead of chasing youth and looking like somebody else.
I Actually noticed the change in your jawline and I though now it looks more feminine, so great decision to botox the masseter. You are more beautiful. I even thought that you had your chin shaved but if that is all botox, brilliant result. You look stunning.
I’m an RN and work in aesthetics. I highly encourage anyone that’s getting these procedures done especially lasers that you ask who is doing the procedure and their background. I just quit at a med spa bc the owner allows aestheticians to preform the laser treatments. Any stay far away from filler! I can also assure you that just because someone has MD behind their name doesn’t mean they’re a “master injector”. Clear and brilliant isn’t the best. You need so many treatments. It’s kinda garbage. Go for something stronger that you only have one treatment for. It usually costs the same as a series but more effective. You also need to do this 1-2 per year or else it just comes back. Sculptra isn’t a filler. And you need 1 vials per decade of age. It’s 100x better than filller. You haven’t had enough… And your injector should’ve started with 2 vials. 1 does absolutely nothing.
@@ErinNicoleTVBBL is good for redness, rosacea, and can help broken capillaries. If you’re prone to Melasma it’s a big no! If not look into Halo with BBL. That’s a great ablative and non ablative laser. Microneedling with RF gives minimal results too. We used Morpheus. Results aren’t worth the cost. Lasers and chemical peels. The VI Peel is fantastic!
Oh Erin, you read my mind. I just took a photo and my crows feet are so prominent (I'm a little older than you). Thank you, thank you, thank you from the bottom of my heart for being so gracefully transparent. I'm scared to talk to anyone about this stuff because I don't want friends or family to talk me out of it or judge me. Your content is like listening to a friend. Thank you lovely Erin :)
I hope your family and friends would be supportive of you. If not, I am. Do what makes you happy 💞 I am considering filler under for the shadows under my eyes. If my friends or family don't support it, it sounds like a personal problem 😅
My husband kept talking me out of botox for my 11s. I finally said bugger him and did it and have never looked back. My only regret was I didn't do it earlier. So if its something you want then do it. No one else will even know if you don't tell them.
I'm sure you look beautiful, lines and all, they're natural and we all have them. But I'm all for treatments if they can help us feel a little better in our own skin. No judgement here :) Crows feet are somewhat easy to treat as well so don't feel discouraged if it's something that interests you! xx
Finally an honest RU-vid who admits to their treatments. I’m in my 50’s and Botox and filler are the only remedies that truly work for wrinkles and fat loss. I do recommend only going to a plastic surgeon no med spas.
Thank you for your honesty and transparency lovely Erin. I have been doing botox for about 20 years now. I started around 35. I also use fillers in the cheeks and lips. I am 51 and trying to push facelift as far as possible.
It definitely helped with my jaw clenching and almost self-corrected the problem. I swear since having my treatments a few years ago my muscles have grown back a little bit but still aren't as strong as they used to be so I no longer grind my teeth. Just be careful in your later 30's because that's when you might notice the jowling, it just sort of appears one day out of the blue lol Of course it all depends on face shape too, you might not have any issues at all! xx
This was so useful for me! I haven't had any treatments yet and the main reason is fear. I'm 58 years old and appreciate you being so detailed with each procedure regarding pain, time, cost, and results. I always trust your opinion because you are open minded and transparent. Thank you Erin 😘❤️
I lost face fat quite fast for my age, it gotten concerning when i loose weight during deep depression episodes, and in an episode my face really took a toll. Im currently saving for bellafill for cheek fat loss, nasal labial folds realllllllllly bothers me! Otherwise im wrinkle free snd descent skin.
I have a super high pain tolerance - things like the Halo laser really don’t bother me. I had prp injected under my eyes and when I tell you I literally almost shot out of my chair from the spice level - WOWZA. It looked beautiful and definitely brightened things up, but I don’t think I will continue to do it based on the results vs the discomfort. PRP with micro-needling, however - I will continue forever. It made such a lovely difference. I really credit Dysport and Estriol cream with changing my skin in the most noticeable ways. Love your videos, Erin - so informative, intentional and well-researched! ❤
I just had a discussion with one of my doctors about PRP under the eye and he basically talked me out of it lol said the results weren't worth it in the long run. I didn't realize it was so painful! xx
No, you need at least 2 - 3 session of IPL if there's significant hyperpigmentation. It's because if you're having IPL the 1st time, strenght of laser should be less. I have IPL done on my face twice a year ( after the summer and before spring/summer) for past 10 years. I'm 53 year old and I have flawless complexion and NO wrinkles, no even small wrinkles around my eyes . IPL does destroy the 'bad/ damaged' cells but leaves out healthy ones. It also stimulates collagen within cell ( stimulation within cell from inside). I would recommend to everybody to START with IPL and after 1 -2 years to proceed with Botox or filler.
I love your honesty! This video was super helpful. I have been wanting to do Lazer treatment after already doing Botox before and I think your first hand experience makes expectations realistic. Thank you for being open about your treatments when most people aren't ❤
AMAZING video Erin!!!! This is why we trust you, you have integrity and honest recommendations ❤️ I am a former sun worshipper too 😅 and I swear by IPL and microneedling with exosomes (stem cells) I do six treatments a year of each. Sculptra is expensive but so worth it, I notice a huge difference in the density of my skin after the third treatment. You look so beautiful and I appreciate your honest feedback on treatments you have had
Thank you! I've heard so much buzz around exosomes lately, really amazing science! I've heard it can take more than one treatment for the Sculptra to really appreciate the difference so I think I'll have it done again in the future! xx
You should rethink your doze of botox (just an opinion based on my personal experience). I am approaching 40. I have been doing botox since 35, but I always negotiate the doze with the doctors. They really try to inject the maximum and it is not necessary to take the full doze they suggest, unless you really want to have your face stagnant and numb. I want my face to be alive.
Micro needling is the biggest lie of the beauty industry. I did Morpheus 8. First, the effect is minimal and lasts maybe 3 months. What they advertise is a bs. It is a trauma for skin that creates microscars on the deep levels. The generation of collagen is overrated and it's not the type of collagen you need. Brief, I am not a specialist in this field, but I have done a lot of research about why it does not work and I recommend everyone to do the same before considering microneeddling or "lazer baking".
I go to a very bice spa in Orlando. They recommended LaseMD laser and clear and brilliant for my dark spots. I researched both and realized clear and brilliant will not do anything. I was very hopeful for Lase MD and after 3 treatments it left me disappointed. The results were minimal. I’m considering peels next .
Celebrate you for all the lovely inclusive messaging! Respect you for putting this type of content, which can be met with a lot of negativity. Thank you for the information and sharing your experience!
you're so well spoken and for a non-medical person I'd say you know enough you could give your own consultation as if you were the provider! love your videos as always
This just popped up on my RU-vid and I’ve been dwelling on getting something done but fear has kept me from it. Still not sure at 58 years old if I will do anything. I really needed to hear this right now so thank you so much for all this information!
So interesting. I love this topic and I think being candid is really important. I started with Dysport, but it is too weak. Now I get Botox and I am extremely pleased. I have also had filler in my temples because I am thin and my face can hollow out and look older.🎉
Just curious if your injector talked to you about Sculptra at all for your temples. I know just a little about it but I just always assumed it’s what I would get as my temples get more hallow
I feel like I've built up a tolerance to Dysport over time. The Daxxify has lasted a full 5 months so I may make the switch. I'm glad you found the one that works best for you! xx
Thanks for sharing, your skin looks terrific. Have you ever considered polynucleotides? They seem to be replacing fillers a little, especially under eye area.
See my mom has them and maybe even my dad so it's definitely hereditary in my case and could maybe be from other factors as well. The Vbeam wiped them out easily which was great! xx
Thank u so so much for sharing❤ I'm 22 now and being a teenager in a time when people wouldn't speak about this stuff was really really hard. I'm so glad to be part of your comunity now ❤
Enjoy your 20's skin! Sunscreen daily will make the biggest difference for you. It's my only regret in life, you don't think it will ever matter until it hits you all at once years later. The earlier you start taking care of your skin, you will be soooo thankful in the future! I'm so happy people are talking more about treatments too, the technology keeps getting better and better xx
Super interesting. In the UK it's probably the same but I had crystal clear which I was disappointed with, but the electronic deep tissue facial programme I had was truly impressive. I haven't had the injectables yet and don't necessarily intend to purely due to cost, but I am always happy to spend on good quality lotions and potions (mainly peptides, collagen etc) and good quality skin supporting supplements. Skin care is many things to make people and I'm all for people making the best of themselves 💗
Oh absolutely, skin is so important! There are so many amazing topicals out there too that can give you results equivalent to lasers anyway. As long as you feel happy and confident when you look in the mirror, that's what matters xx
Loved the video, Erin! I've been getting Xeomin for about five years, which is another Botox alternative. I've gotten lip filler once and undereye filler once and loved the results for my formerly hollow undereyes. I've had microneedling, IPL, and BBL (no, not that kind lol) it stands for broad band light and is similar to the IPL. I've also had peri oral fractional co2 laser for some pretty deep acne scars around my chin, and it did an amazing job. I would like to eventually do my whole face because it takes care of so many issues and is a pretty deep resurfacing but the recovery is a bit brutal. Oh, and I've had 3 VI peels. For me, the most impactful have been Xeomin, the co2 laser, the VI peel, and the undereye filler 🙂 Edit to say: for reference I'm 39 years old and I started getting these treatments in my mid 30's. Like Erin I look completely natural but refreshed.
I love hearing about your treatments, thank you for sharing! I've seen people doing CO2 just under the eyes and I think I'd like to try that at some point for the fine lines. What did you think of the BBL? xx
@@ErinNicoleTV I'm always happy to share my experiences with people. Whenever people complement how good I look for my age or how surprised they are by it I always tell them I get Botox (most people don't know Xeomin) and that I've had various laser treatments etc. I don't ever want people to feel bad about themselves if they've had no intervention or to have unrealistic expectations about aging. As far as the BBL I wasn't overly impressed but to be fair I didn't have a lot of hyperpigmentation and the one spot on my forehead which bothered me the most it didn't get rid of. My dermatologist suggested that at some point we spot treat it with a more powerful laser.
You’re 37?? Most of the time, people claim they look younger than their age but they don’t. You actually look like you’re in your 20’s. I think it’s because you didn’t start injecting until you were older (which is the intended purpose!!)
Look up Alice Hart-Davis from the tweakment guide who did the MRI on fillers 👍🏽… I have Botox in my masseters for chronic TMJ and here in the UK consultants warn about some people developing antibodies to Botox over time, which leads to it be less affective 🤷🏽♀️
That’s an honest discussion. Do what makes you happy. I just don’t want to mess with my face. I’m wondering how you will approach aging if you have had this all done by 37.
I did a whole course of PRP treatments and then continued a few more times fo few years. Honestly, the result of having a fresh face lasts for a week, and then everything goes back to how it was before. I kept doing it, hoping that I was doing something good for my skin. And I want to believe that this is the case :) but honestly, I regret the money spent because, as I said, the effect is very short even after the full course. Maybe if it was a cheaper …but for that price i feel it’s not worth it.
Yes, they will tell you about the cumulative effect… and I want to believe that this effect has somehow accumulated for me)) Overall, I probably had around 13 procedures… and I honestly spent a lot of money, but the visual effect is always the same since the first time - a refreshed face for about a week, and then everything goes back to how it was before...I have similar issues with a lot of wrinkles around my eyes when I smile since 28-29 and for beginning I had high hope what PRP will help with that…but nope, not at all. Then I just did Botox.
You look great, Erin! If I wasn’t such a chicken, I would try some of those things also at 65 years old. For all of the sun exposure I had over my life which was a lot living near the beach. I haven’t had anything done and if I have to say so I don’t look all that bad, I am interested in the procedure you spoke of where they take your own blood and inject it and the under the eye thing sounds interesting. I really don’t have any crows feet, although I do have the 11 lines and some of the marionette lines. I am allergic to various things such as shellfish and some different medication so I am always hesitant to think about injecting anything into my face or body. Your video was very interesting. Thanks for being so open about everything.
I would love to know your doctor for the lip filler if you’re willing. I am scared to do it because it can migrate from your lips. Cher has that where you can see it past her lip line and it’s disturbing. I hate the lip filler look when it is clear a person has had their lips done. In your case I wouldn’t know they were done at all. Also, how often do you refill them?
Thank you Erin ! Your honesty ! I tried Botox and I wish I had done so earlier ! You are beautiful inside and out and it really comes through on your videos.
Hi Erin, I have done two times botox in my forehead, and frown line. I liked it, it was ok, the result was good. The frown line was no longer visible. I have a smal one. Microneedling I have done also two times. The first one was very painfull, The second not so mutch, less than The first one. But The result was as well not so overwhelming as I Expected. My be I had to do some more. Your results are very beautifull. I would not have thought that you are doing so mutch beauty treatments. It looks over all very natural and beautyfull. These treatments can Look mask-like , if they are overdone. I like beauty treatments but they are very expensive and you need someone who can do them well. Many greatings from Germany.
Well said about everyone’s right and choice to age gracefully whatever that means to the individual. Thank you for sharing your honest opinions on the different procedures you have had.
I personally think the Sculptra has made a huge impact on your skin. Very subtle but noticeable. You might not notice it because it takes time to see the full results, so day to day you might not see it, but the results are there.
The absolute best way to get rid of hypertension and melasma are topical treatments. I’ve successfully got rid of my melasma on my cheek bones in about five months. Products that I’ve used are: vitamin C serum, Azelaic acid 15%, Retinol/Retinal Acid serum and Niacinamide serum. I’m also going to start using some kind of melanin inhibitor, e.g. Alpha Arbutin, Kojic Acid or Tranexamic Acid. A good channel here on YT is Dr Amir Karam! Thanks for a great video! 💕
Thank you so much for your great videos💜! You put so much work and smart thoughts in it🌷 ! I don`t know anybody who tried out beauty treatments (or who is so honest to talk about it ;), so I have nobody to share my experience and knowledge with. As I am very curious about new treatments, but want to invest my money wisely, I am very thankful for your field report and will try out the microneedling & PRP💜 Greetings from Germany to Miami 💕 PS: By now I get botox once till twice a year. I tried out microneedling (5 times, every 3rd week). I made the exact same experience than you (my skin is also quite good / OK, therefore I saw no real difference in the long term). I also tried out jet peel twice, where I saw better result. I came to the conclusion, that "aggressive" treamtens (fillers) make you look better / different immediately, but that dermatologist treatments might be healthier and look more natural in the long term use. A dermatologist told me: It`s equal to sport - You need to do treamtens regulary to keep the skin tight.
I love hearing other people's experiences so thank you for sharing! I agree about investing money wisely in treatments that give the best results. The more we know, the better decisions we can make :) xx
Unfortunately I have always been over injected with Botox and it makes me look angry. Of the 8 or so times I have done it, I look angry and it’s not fun. One time it was soooo bad I couldn’t make any change with my forehead when I was crying bc I looked like joker!! I think I will always stick to the 11’s/eye winkles
Oh no! The placement is very important for this very reason. At least you know what works and doesn't work for you. If you don't like the results then it's better not to mess with it xx
I'm 36 and still haven't done anything. I feel like in my countr is not as super usual as in the USA...? But I'm happy how you showed and explained everything! Thanks to your video I'm going to start searching for info to treat (professionally) my main concern with which I have been dealing sinces my 20's: acne + acne scars. Thanks Erin!
You might have luck with topicals since that's your only concern. I've been using Twyneo, a tretinoin and benzoyl peroxide cream and while it is very drying at first, I have not had a single bad blemish and it's really helped improve my skin. A prescription strength retinol or tretinoin may clear your face completely! :) xx
Thank you for sharing, I feel biased bc I remember hearing so many bad things about the ingredient years ago so it makes me apprehensive. I really loved Azala, will definitely be back! xx
Yessssssss one IPL is amazing. They originally sold me a three pack, which I did one month apart, and the first treatment was amazing and had great results, but the other two did almost nothing. So now I get IPL once a year in the fall and it’s perfect for me. Great for brown spots. I saw full results in ten days. Ask for numbing cream first. I only do IPL on my face. I also live in Florida and I’m 41.
Ooh interesting! I would love to try IPL on my face next time to even out the skin tone. I've started looking into BBL for my chest damage as well, it's supposed to go deeper than IPL so that may be something I try this fall. I'm really trying to get to the maintenance phase as soon as possible! xx
I can’t believe your derm didn’t do IPL right from the start! When you were telling your story I just kept thinking, IPL! Anyway, instead of doing several treatments for my textured, blah skin I’m going to go for the CO2 in the winter. I used to do an IPL at the end of every summer… I’m so happy with lip injection…I look at older pictures and see just how small my lips were and am happy with the results. What I would not do an again is under the eye filler. It just didn’t work well enough for me. Also, at first it left a little ‘shelf’ (can’t think of a better description, but just a noticeable little point.) looking at Jennifer Aniston now she has it and Kylie Jenner had it too. Tell tale sign…
I've seen amazing results with CO2, eventually I'd like to do the skin around my eyes like the crows feet area. I'm excited for another IPL as well, it worked so well for my skin! I'm sorry to hear about your under eye filler experience, I've heard a lot of similar stories. It's too unpredictable xx
You courageous lady! Putting yourself out there with so many keyboard warrior freaks just looking to bring someone down! You are a steel magnolia and I love it! I’m 63 and have had the tweaks. When someone asks what cream do you use? I answer no cream like Botox hahaha ❤️
Thank you for your honest review of all these beauty procedures, I was thinking about some after I got CO2 mask they suggested to me and I loved the result, gonna repeat it
Erin, you look fantastic with what you’ve done. I do not see you with overfilled cheeks or trout pout. More women should have your results, and then plastic surgery would not get a bad reputation.
Thank you such an informative video. Had filler in lips and oh boy it was so painful but the results were great. IPL x 3 txs. Took care of my splotches and rosacea on my face, I wish I would have done it sooner.
Thank you! That's exactly how I felt after my IPL, why didn't I do this sooner? It really made a difference after one treatment so I'm excited to go back xx
