Hey loves! Come with me through the first 10 weeks of cosmetology school!! We've learned a variety of topics including coloring, cutting, styling, silk presses, perms, relaxers ect.
Out of all the videos I've watched about cosmetology school, this is by far the best and most comprehensive one I've watched. I hope you did more like this! Excellent work!
I’m becoming interested in cosmetology school as somebody who has always done their own hair nails and skin care, I feel like the only thing holding me back from fully committing is my anxiety but your video really just helped me see just the positive of everything ❤
Currently in school, at Paul Mitchell-Fayetteville NC campus to be exact...this video is so heartwarming and I'm getting excited about class this evening. I'm also thinking about relocating next year possibly so it's exciting to see the small differences as well as similarities across the campuses. Best of luck to you on your journey!!!
“Hit me up for a Bob cause I snapped on my mannequin… OKAY!!”😂😂😂😂 I don’t know how this came to my feed be she is hilarious and I learned something new about a different industry
Great video! Did you hear anything about accreditation hours? I have a cousin who got the job to be a educator at Paul Mitchell. I cant remember if its this location or the Roswell location. She told me to try the Alpharetta location bc the school was going through legal stuff. I didnt ask much details. Im trying to decide which location to attend. I live between 2 of the locations.
hii i start paul mitchell in st.louis in a little less then a month. i dont really have any experience with hair but i have such a passion in wanting to learn how to properly do hair and help others love their hair! will going into it with not knowing anything be a rly bad thing?
Hey Love, I actually had 3 people in my core class that never touched hair before and tbh I think they pay more attention and focus harder than any of us and I can genuinely see them getting better every day, so I definitely think you should go for it!! Now is as good a time as any.. Goodluck!!
Does this cosmo school cater to those who want to get into like sew ins bond ins tape ins? Basically hair extensions because right now I’m trying to find a hair school that cater to me and what I want to learn & specialize in specifically
Honestly, no.. not directly. Paul mitchell is a cut, color, styling school. So we mainly learn those basics and have to preform them to get credits. But we have instructors and students here who specialize in those and they do have guest artist and classes that you can attend. Since Ive been here Ive sat in on 2 tape in classes, 1 bond in and its always girls on the floor doing sew ins thatll let you watch and ask questions.
Did you wax on eachother? Was it mandatory to get waxed? Did you guys just waxed your arms?Sorry is because I’m starting soon and I don’t really like waxing☹️
Yes we waxed each other. You have to either perform a service or get serviced in order to receive credits. So they give out sheets with credit requirements and once youve showed you completed it itll be signed off on, so yes.. its basically mandatory but we didn't even spend more than 20 minutes doing the actual service so it not going to be horrible
@@genessisdominguez790 your welcome love and yes I had some classmates do lip waxes and some did eyebrows, but if you don't feel comfortable waxing anyone else you can perform a wax on yourself for credit (no arms of course)
hi, i am planning to join paul mitchell school of cosmetology can you please tell me, is we learn skin, makeup and nails i mean everything in the cosmetology.
Yes, but I can say different locations be having different focuses. At my school our main focus is hair but you can find another paul mitchell with a main focus of esthetics. But we all learn the basics of everything.
After Core class (which is the first 10 weeks of learning the basics of everything) yes. Once you transition from the classroom, You can start taking clients from day 1 on the floor. And our personal service day is every week on Tuesday which is the day we can either work on ourselves or our classmates
