I’m adding Meet the Malones to my list and the Hannibel. I just found Farewell to Manzanar this weekend thrifting. I’m sooo looking forward to reading it!
Meet the Malones feels like "Leave It to Beaver" meets the Boxcar Kids or The Enchanted Barn sans mystery. It's just a great story. I've heard good things about Farewell to Manzanar. I hope you tell me to get it! :D
The Lost Library book intrigues me with the thought it has a little Warehouse 13 feel. That show was lots of fun. Did you watch Eureka? Loved it! You’ve read a lot so far this month! You do, girl!
It is soooooo cool! I loved the Lost Property Office and am eager to keep ging because man. So good! Loved Eureka! Great show. And one of the coolest opening sequences I've seen in a long time.
Good books finished this month: Teatime Discipleship, the Clouds Ye So Much Dread, and Freckles. Currently reading Mrs. Pollifax and the Hong Kong Buddha (loving it) and The Great Alaskan Dinosaur Adventure (Christian scientists searching for unfossilized dinosaur bones).
OOOH! Hong Kong Buddha is GREAT... but it is brutal at the end. She's affected by that one for the rest of the series. (won't say how) Aaah... Freckles. His "mither" loved him!
I did a soft DNF of the Lost year. Not sure about this. Won’t say more because I don’t want others to read into it something that may not be there. But it kind of spoiled the book for me. Which is a shame because I was halfway through it.
