Hi, my name is Adam and I'm a Junior at Baruch College majoring in Finance. In this video, I try to answer some of the biggest questions I had as an incoming freshman at Baruch. I just got into Baruch majoring Accounting BBA. The video helped me a lot to have the overall and general knowledge of the college. I really look forward to take classes in a few months and make friends and networking with people from the actual accounting and finance field. Thank you for the video!

This video is pretty accurate. The education is good value for what you pay but please do keep in mind that Baruch’s education isn’t superior than colleges like Nyu, ivy’s, and many many other colleges. There’s a lot of room for improvement in the courses themselves like SAM projects and the faculty is pretty trash. He is definitely right that you are not given anything at Baruch very similar to the real world.

I actually didn't get into any of my reach schools unfortunately but I reaaaallllyyy wanted to live in New York so I chose Baruch. Also it's a very affordable school

Hey Adam, I have a 4.0 gpa, numerous ap classes but am not planning on sending my sat, I also am part of numerous community service organizations and Honor societies, do you think I would have a good shot on getting into Baruch.

There are not too many foreign students anymore? When I graduated Baruch (2012) there were a lot of students from China. A lot!

Is the dorm uptown on 96th st? And it's right across from a housing project?

no that's where it used to be but they moved it to 51st and Lexington now

Baruch had a store where they were selling them but I'm not sure if it's still open

@AdamPerryy Store on campus no longer open. However, CVS locations on Park Avenue South are now selling Baruch sweatshirts. Not the same design as yours, but rather with the Bearcats logo.

tbh i would say it’s pretty decent. you learn what you need to know, but i would also strongly recommend joining some of the finance clubs at baruch if you want to get ahead
