So crowded, we all don't want that thing! Oh the struggle on shopping, the saleslady will follow you everywhere! Thank you for sharing, learned something about Korea today! :)

I heard that about NYC. It doesn't surprise me but it ruins that beautiful image it has from movies and stuff:c I get so heated when I talk about the tofu experience 😩

It so crazy to listen to this from a prospective of you going from your current city to Melbourne ... my home town only having a population of 125,000 made me dislike Melbourne for all the same reasons (except the shopping hassle🤣 that really does sound horrible and as you know thankfully in Melbourne you can shop without someone trying to pass you things). Bronson and I had to face all these same things everyday such a huge difference with 5M people compeered to our small town of 125,000, I couldn't stand the "city smell' - rubbish, urine, never having "fresh air" I really struggled with. The crowds everywhere you went. Ohhh I hated that trams and trains so so packed all the time just having to be against other peoples bodies really filled me with dread everyday, and line up to do anything. In our home town basically lines didn't exist EXCEPT when Starbucks has their 2 for 1 drinks deal 😂.

omg haha. I can't imagine because everytime I go to Melbourne, every place is so empty and the air is so clean. I can see what you mean with some of the CBD in Melbourne having smells and air feeling less clean but the air in Korea is so polluted that even before corona, we had to wear masks because sometimes it was so thick you couldn't even see buildings in front of you. Every time I visited Melbourne, my body felt so light and more energetic just because the air was a million times better haha. I can't imagine how you guys would handle Asia if Melbourne is crowded for you 😂😂😂 I live in Seoul which has more than double the population of all of Melbourne 😂 so you could imagine how much better it'd feel in Melbourne :D

@@TKmoon I would be so so so out of my comfort zone in a population double Melbourne 🙈. We have friends that went to London and LOVE it, would never consider living somewhere with 'small' population numbers now as they truly love that big city life. Where as moving to Melbourne had an opposite affect on me, I absolutely will stay away from the big city life 🙈 I know the further out of Melbourne you go the more suburban it becomes just like any city but not having a car (because parking in the city OMG no even worth our time 😂) we didn't get to venture out much. I guess you can take the girl out of the small town but you cant take the small town out of the girl 😂 so used to such a small population even Bronson and I feel the GC is too big for us at times and too busy I think that really does show we are just a couple of kiwis from a small NZ town 😂.

Haha omg. I'm the opposite. Even the gold coast feels like its too rural for me sometimes.

All the trash sorting is so complicated. I would agree with that.

Do you have that kind of thing in China as well?
@JohnThomasAbroad
@JohnThomasAbroad 3 года назад
@@TKmoon we don’t. We just put all the trash in one place. Some places try to organize the trash but it all ends up in one dumpster anyway. Also I meant to add that I totally feel you about the shopping also. I’ve had that happen here in China but in Korea the people in the skincare shops really do follow you around so close.

@@JohnThomasAbroad damn. I'd imagine so! I heard some foreigners in China who've lived in Korea say that China does the same thing on another level. It sucks but it must be the nature of large populations :/ Yes omg. I hate that they're forced to be like that :/

Everything is So relate able with the situation in India-garbage, shopping and mainly the sales person😂 it's so true. I love India but still there are things that we don't like😁@tkmoon

Your experiences in South Korea doesnt defy the whole country of South Korea itself, specially the Garbage Bags & the Massive Crowds. You said you lived in Seoul, The city of Seoul isn't the whole country of Korea. & Staff follow you because you're foreign, foreigners usually have extra money to spend, that usually doesn't happens to Korean locals. I'm a Korean-American living in Gumi City.
