WHAT I WORE/5 DAYS 5 OUTFITS JANUARY EDITION 

There is nothing better after a long day, than to wind down with a week of bjones getting dressed! Pure bliss.

I criticize you but I have to tell you, I started thrifting in my twenties, always loved fashion. My life’s been hard these last couple of years. I will spare you the details. I spent last spring, summer, fall and almost winter in bed, just wanting nothing, feeling nothing except sorrow. I started watching your videos in the fall, on my phone, in bed. You brought back the fun in dressing up, even if I gained weight. I go out thrifting at least one a week, weathers I find something or not, I have to get up, dress up and show up. I found ties and belts and nick back accessories and come home happy, or at least awake. You brought me back, and I can never thank you enough Beth. Thank you

Love your What I wore video. I went into my closet and played dress up with a leopard sweater I had not styled ever. Would have not thought to put stripes (pants)with it or multiple of the print (scarf tied in a bow and big leopard earrings. Shoes (white converse with a chunky tan sole) Best part is everything was already in my closet. Now I have to be brave and wear this fantastic outfit Sunday to a concert!! I am 66 have lost fifty pounds. You inspire me. And yes I love to thrift!!

I can't explain it, but watching you pick outfits in this dream closet brings me so much joy! My style is not quite as maximalist as yours, but you inspire me so much to be more bold and daring with fashion, and make getting dressed fun.

I just love your style. I watch your channel to get inspiration for the way I really want to dress. However, when I go to the thrift store I can never put together anything that looks good. So, I continue to wear boring jeans and plain shirts. I would love to spend time with you and learn how you do it. Everything you put on is gorgeous on you.

I really like looks 1, 3 and 4. Clever idea with the scarf as a "collar" on the leather jacket. I'm kinda new to thrifting. Learning a lot from watching YTs. but it IS a rabbit hole. I absolutely love a day when I can spend a leisurely afternoon trying on clothes...but I think in 2024 I will be doing it at thrift stores instead of the others. It's very fun, and BONUS! You are so much less cookie-cutter.

I remember when I went through a crazy phase of getting rid of all of my leopard print. Now I can't leave a thrift store without something leopard print-y in my bag...shoes, coat, pj's, scarf, purse, sheets, the list goes on. Feeling much more sane now.
