If ur funko broke like the Shazam one I recommend getting molding clay, I’m pretty sure it’s y glue has a substance mix that hardens like a rock, so just apply it like a stem and put the head on after it dries, if the stem is too big then you can shave it with sandpaper
Have you tried it before? And what molding clay do you recommend? Part of the actual neck peg is still attached on mine, but I shaved a bit too much for a custom Funko head. Thanks in advance!
Super glue. My dad is a Funko collector and he's a teacher. Most of his pops are at school and sometimes get damaged by them. Use super glue. Fixes all your problems. Unless you don't know how to use it, if you don't know how to use super glue then don't.
There is a fix for the snapped neck issue, it's a bit of a ball ache and depends on the state if the head but it can be fixed and retain the head rotation.
@@stephstremp warm up the head in warm water and pop off the plug. Remove the broken neck pin rattling around in the head and replace the plug. Drill a couple of small holes into both the remaining neck stump and the neck pin you removed from the head. Glue a couple of toothpicks into the holes to re attach both parts of the neck. Warm the bottom of the head to make the hole in the plug flexible so as to not put to much strain on the repaired neck. Pop the head back on and allow to cool naturally. It's a bit of a ball ache but it will save the pop from the parts draw or indeed from the bin. Hope this helps.
You might be able to use contact cement to glue it back together, it's really strong, and of done right, there's no mess. It does produce toxic fumes when wet and curing though, so do it in a well ventilated area
You need tweezers to get into the head from the hole to pull out the peg so you can glue it back on the pop the head back on again once the glue dries. Test for strength so you don't have it go back into the head once glue is dry. You do this for dolls, figures, and some Funko. I did this with a Funko once that my friend asked if I could repair which took a long time because the tweezers I used were the standard ones found in the bathroom. You need ones found in jewelry making kits or other similar kits that are made better for this. You also may need to cut a circle around the hole to reglue after the peg comes out.. If I had them I'd spend hours fixing them because it's so satisfying...
I had my younger cousin over at my house once. She went to the bathroom but decided to make a pit stop into my room. She came back with one of my Hamilton funkos and asked if we could cut it open like on youtube because there’s supposed to be something inside. She’s not allowed near my room ever again 😂
