This was really good and I like how the story was adjusted to account for Aangs fighting style and ingenuity. I also like that piece that Jiraya had mention about his powers working in a more sage like manner isn't really too far fetched. The sage of six paths originally created Ninshu (Ninjitsu's precursor) which does have very strong similarities to bending from the Avatar universe.

It's more likely that Aang would replace Sakura. Naruto was put on Kakashi's team because he was the son of Minato, Kakashi's former teacher. Sasuke was put on his team because Kakashi is the only living wielder of the sharingan that's loyal to Konoha and able to teach him how to use it. Sakura was just there by happenstance, she could have been assigned to anyone, and would likely have been assigned to Kurenai given their shared (though rarely seen) affinity for genjutsu.

It would be a cool interaction between ninjutsu and bending. Creating water with Ninjutsu isn't the same as bending actual water. So things like the Byakugan and Sharingan would see that Aang using bending is entirely different and not detect Chakra usage like all other ninjas. Kakashi having Tobi's 3 Tomoe Sharingan would make his investigation into Aang even more interesting

I was confused when I saw this new "What If" but it was a pleasant surprise and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Please consider making more like these in the future ❤

I think it would also make sense if Aang was more of an elemental, Taijutsu fighter with a Sage mode and summoning jutsu. That would be awesome and fit him imo.

Mannn I was having the time of my life watching this! As soon as Aang watched Sasuke get hit with the senbon I was screaming “Avatar State” and I was hollering when it happened and Kakashi and everyone was shooked! I love how everyone is confused about Aangs power and how he confused the land of fire for the fire nation! These crossover videos are very creative! Please keep making more!❤️

I think it'd be cool if he came from a clan where they all had a Hiden technique or techniques like the Nara, Akimichi etc, combining their prowess in taijutsu along with their ninjutsu to create a fighting style that best fits elemental ninjutsu in which no other shinobi can really use to the same extent they can, it would pretty much revolve around the two types of combat while shape-transformation would be easier for them to use and manipulate in ninjutsu as well

Avatar or Naruto?

"Just Aang" would actually work as name for him in the Naruto universe. Most clan names in the manga are puns so if you were to write it in Japanese it would be something along the lines of "Tada no Aang" or Tadano Aang of the Tadano clan.

Meanwhile in the Avatar universe: "Hey, Katara-chan, do you have any ramen on the South Pole?"

oh man I'm really loving these what ifs and even crossovers between two shows

Most of the time with Jutsu, things are manipulated in a direction wheras Bending takes control of an element. I'd like to imagine that after initial interrogation, the Konoha investigators would assume Aang to be from a different continent faaar to the east, one they have not even established contact with yet. Aang's last memory is flying into the storm and falling in the water, so he would also adopt this theory. I do not think he would enter the four elements Avatar state during the fight against Haku but instead wrest control of Haku's ice during the state, something that would terrify Haku even more than the 9 tail's chakra did. Haku would flee his mirrors which would be turned to water, envelop him and encase him in ice with only his head free. Before Aang can deliver a decisive blow, the mask drops and Aang goes back to normal and pass out briefly. With the Avatar State no longer in control of the ice, Haku would begin to free himself just in time to save Zabuza. I also think that while practicing Water Bending at the hot springs (because why not train and then relax with a nice bath) before the final part of the Chunin Exams, Aang would run into Jiraiya. The latter would inform the former of what you concluded your video with regarding natural energies and offer to train the boy out of curiosity of this weird new power. He also plans to eventually bring him to the toad sages to see what they would make of this power, but that's for later. Aang would appreciate the offer, but decline and say that maybe they could do it another time since Aang needs to focus on water bending. This would give us a hook for the Tsunade arc. Jiraiya would again offer to train Aang while taking a trip to some other places. Aang would agree because adventure. Aang would demonstrate his air scooter which in theory resembles the Rasengan with its highly compressed energy formed in an orb. Jiraiya would show it to Aang and the boy would develop his own pseudo-Rasengan, making a compressed orb of air in his hand that could make a devastating airblast when released. With his water bending becoming better, he could also make the pseudo-Rasengan mixed with water, snow, or ice. The ice variant would be far too deadly for him to even consider using against living opponents however. To give a reason for Sasuke running into Itachi, the Akatsuki would go after Aang like they tried with Naruto in the original, to see if he was possibly a jinchuriki or an asset to be used in claiming tailed beasts. Events play out roughly the same, but Itachi and Kisame conclude that Aang is of no tactical interest. Itachi let it slip that they are only interested in jinchuriki and they retreat away from Jiraiya. Aang would gain Tsunade's respect by being surprisingly mature and genuine towards her, and then of course saving her life with a new pseudo-rasengan.

This is an amazing what if scenario and is very accurate to how Ang does in Canon, although there is a slight chance that Tsunade would have helped Orochimaru and be declared a S-rank missing ninja by Danzo, the Fifth Hokage ( and probably join the Akatsuki). Since Ames Nomad spiritual training by the monks he could be part of the 12 Shinobi Guardians by the fire temple and gain Sage Mode a lot quicker in the time Skip fully mastering it better than even Naruto. Doing so he will face Nagato in a different area before he reaches the leaf Village and connects with him better to defect from the Akatsuki; also I think because of things more open social skills he has a better chance of hooking up with Sakura in the long run ( while Sasuke can stick with Karin).

To my understanding chi is the Chinese version of the word chakra so I looked into it and when I can tell they're actually considered the same thing one's Japanese one is Chinese

I love the spin of Aang's pacifist ideals in the ninja world. The new rivalry with Sasuke is interesting, where Aang doesn't desire even to begin with to one up Sasuke, unlike Naruto. I feel like you should've added a bit more dialogue in the final valley fight instead of glossing over it so fast, but otherwise great fanfiction

Since Naruto was never mentioned does it mean that Aang replaces him or was Naruto just doing something else thus he was not part of what was showned (i.e. assigned to other team). Also im not sure that Tsunade would die. Id assume that if Jiraya was looking for her at the time he would probably be with Naruto at that time (assuming he exists as noone said his timeline changed much) so i would guess Tsunade was not killed after all. But thats just me ;)
