4:55 I feel like if Alaska joined Canada in a scenario like this it'd probably be for military reasons. Alaska's economy would most likely do fine due to its oil industry. It's main weaknesses would be it's lacking military, industry, and having to import food.
There are over 26,700 U.S. troops in Alaska, to include more than 22,000 Air Force, Army, Navy and Marine Corps personnel, along with 4,700 National Guard members and Reservists. The Canadian Armed Forces is comprised of approximately 68,000 Regular Force and 27,000 Reserve Force members, increasing to 71,500 and 30,000 respectively under Strong, Secure, Engaged − Canada's defence policy, as well as 5,200 Ranger Patrol Group members. Seeing the extreme difference, Alaska would be better off with Canada. United States definitely has better military but, in this scenario it has collapsed so it would anyways get annexed by Canada or Russia. Most likely, Alaska would join Canada because their military is small. They wouldn’t join Russia because Alaska would be a former part of the US and Canada are allies so Alaska would join Canada. Alaska could also support Canada with their oil industries. Hopefully, this scenario never happens since the United States is a very powerful nation with 1.3 million active duty troops, 36.5 million barrels of oil, and alliances with strong European nations like France, United Kingdom, and Germany.
I think Texas would probably either be extremely aggressive or passivist. They would probably do well overall, so long as they don't try to clash with CA. While either state could win, both would be severely weakened
As you know, Texas used to be one country a while ago. They will probably get the land they had then and maybe try to expand. They don’t seem very aggressive, I feel like they would just get as much land as they can and then, just be grateful with the land they have. They are sort of neutral in this case.
It would be very bad for both CA and TX to fight since they both have a lot of power. They would kill themselves trying to even fight each other. Instead of fighting, Texas would probably create an Alliance with California and the southwest states including Utah, Nevada, Arizona, and New Mexico. These 6 powers will be way stronger compared to a single country. They might even form a union and just become maybe the “Former Southwest States of America (FSWSA)”. The name would be similar to FYROM. Even if this scenario happened, I don’t know if Adizz said this but, they would probably just make a union of all 50 states and just become the US again. They will probably never collapse because their current state is incredible. The United States collapsing would put other countries in danger like South Korea and Canada.
It would be terrible for this scenario to happen. This will most likely not happen. You are completely right, they would be severely weakened and lose manpower.
I might be a little bias because Maryland is my home state but I think Maryland would do fairly well. We have the Chesapeake bay with the Crab industry, we have some big cities like Baltimore, Annapolis, now D.C., and Ocean City as a tourist attraction, we might survive until big bad Virginia or Pennsylvania comes along, and we have the Appalachian Mountains for defense and we have some control over the Potomac and Shenandoah Rivers and the Naval academy is in Annapolis. We might have a small chance
I’m pretty sure Maryland will survive for a little while at least, they don’t have to worry about Virginia, and same with Pennsylvania because of their alliance.
@@eggroll6764 honestly, a new USA might even appear, with D.C and all, and if they can remake their old alliances... well they're gonna be doin good. Though i imagine 99% of new presidents would be republican, if the old 2 party system is kept, of course.
The southern states will form an alliance. Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Arkansas, Tennessee, Alabama, Georgia, Florida, and both Carolinas have plenty of gun clubs and small militia groups. I guarantee these states will work together within a week after the collapse.
@@mariasirona1622 even though it semms possible u got to kepp in minde that candas exscits and if they invade alksa there takeing posbile oil from canda plus canda not as a fan of russia just like the usa so yeah the posbiltiys a good but not excatly
I'd feel that The Great Peach Empire and Florida would come together since they're the most successful economically and largest states by population and size in the Southeast. Plus, it would easily make it a superpower in the states since both are in the top 8 in population already. ( NC joining would be a stretch too) Florgia/Florigia✌🏾️
Realistically Utah and Idaho would make a pack because we are already culturally the same. And we would take south west Wyoming considering most the people that live there are already Utah or Idaho residents.
I like how you say South Carolina is Scared of North Carolina , because I did something similar but didn’t Post , but I made a Similar alliance on the East coast with VA as the Head , so North Carolina invaded South Carolina and Formed the Carolina Union
Idk, this situation seems likely with our current political state… But Texas + California have a good economical head start since both had a starting economy of 1T+
If USA collapses then the world will collapse because the US dollar is holding the world's economy and without US there wouldn't be any more economy and everyone will struggle and it will take hundreds of years to rebuild even China is paying the US debt because they need US
I would like to add to this map. I believe that Illinois is going to have a civil war and that’s because Illinois is well known for having Chicago and in Chicago it is democratic and everywhere else is republican (I think anyone see why their will be a civil war in Illinois). The war would end with a stalemate and Illinois will be divided by the top of Illinois called Chicago (I’m talking to very top/north) and everywhere else called Illinois or New Illinois.
If WV collapsed, VA would want the whole land back because of the Ohio river. They had an agreement with PA that the border traces along the river, and the separation of WV made VA lose access to the river. I don't think OH will also agree to get WV's land anyway.
They'd probably become something like the EU, especially since China might feel tempted to claim that the Native Americans are Chinese and therefore America somehow historically belonged to them
lol as someone who is Chinese American, i think Russia would do that first. The west coast has a big Chinese population, especially Washington and California, so rebellion could happen
What would happen to the state of Utah? I can see at least three scenarios happening. 1: Idaho Utah Wyoming Colorado New Mexico Arizona join forces and become one state. 2: The following states listed above would join Canada or Mexico. 3: Idaho Utah Wyoming joined Canada and Arizona New Mexico and Colorado joined Mexico. Can you please make a video talking about what you think would happen with the state of Utah?
I like this video. the only thing is the south is not poor. My state Georgia is in top 10 best economies in the states. and has the lowest gas prices in the nation right now. not as much inflation. Florida, Tennesee also have good economies. so a couple of them are a little poorer. but the south is not poor. Still great video.
“What if all states were on their own” Then all would die except Texas Montana Ohio New York Florida California Dakota (if united) Minnesota Vermont Alaska Hawaii Puerto Rico Cascadia (Washington, Oregon, Idaho) Nevada Guam Palau Micronesia
I am a Michigander so I might sound biased but I think Michigan would end up doing really well and having a really good economy since we are best friends with Canada so they would probably trade with us or even make an economic or defensive alliance. Or both.
5:20 as somebody from Long Island, New Jersey is the only state who claims Liberty island and Long Island and New York claims it’s there’s and major border problems are made there
2:50 I doubt Louisiana would collapse so early. Remember that Louisiana controls the Mississippi River, giving them a huge advantage over trade. Their superiority over trade would be able to stabilize their economy.
