One reason for this is because some power-ups make the game crash if Captain Toad collects them. Maybe we'll have Captain Toad playing those levels instead of an edited version of normal characters to have no jump in a future version of this mod! :D
It reminded me of that one episode from The Adventures of Super Mario Bros. 3 where one of the toads said, "The aliens are coming! The aliens are coming!"
this entire video is basically Captain Toad Treasure Tracker 2, you should really play Captain Toad Treasure Tracker cause it's basically an expansion of the 3DW Captain Toad levels (also I recommend the Wii U version because if you play the Switch/3DS version there are special levels based on Super Mario Odyssey, but in the Wii U version there are 3DW levels instead, but edited by Nintendo to fit CT, similar to the levels in this video (also sorry for such a long comment))
Been waiting for someone to mention those levels in Captain toad treasure tracker Because that’s exactly what they did they just took the levels and made them into Captain toad level but not many people know that because not many people had a wii u

There's a fun glitch you can do in Deepwater Dungeon involving freezing enemies in mid-air. Freeze the Madpoles (The tadpole enemies at the start of the level) and wait for the water level to rise and fall. When you let go and the enemies aren't at the surface, they just zip straight to where they're supposed to be. Very funny.
I love how the levels are (very well) modded to be ACTUALLY possible and it isn’t just throwing captain toad in a level and saying the level isn’t possible! That’s so cool!
@@ZXMany I presume the levels with flagpoles use regular characters so that the game doesn't crash when you touch them, due to missing animations, that's just my guess though

Clearly Captain Toad definitely works out his arms, he just skips leg day. mj Cox definitely did a good job modifying the stages where it was needed, this was funny to watch you get stuck places, hehe
7:06 If you stay in a Koopa shell for too long, the character will come out and spin around as if they’re dizzy. In this instance, Captain Toad came out of the shell from being dizzy, and hit the other green shell, thus killing him

You should make toad be able to jump like Mario in his own levels and see how easy it is. Or if Mario could play in all of toads levels with Mario’s full move set

During the game crash in Conkdor Canyon, the screen zoomed in because of the idle zoom. If you stand still for too long, the camera starts to zoom in a bit. I think that's a new mechanic added in the Switch port.

@@ZXManyOverlapping them would be interested honestly, as you couldn't just make him start at his normal starting position for every level. So you would probably have to change some green stars around to make them possible. Which would be interesting

Captain toad toad treasure tracker on the Wii U is what you’re looking for they literally did this exact thing and took 3-D world levels but made them into Captain toad levels and it’s official but not many people remember it because it wasn’t a super memorable with you game and it’s only available on the Wii U mode
