Don't take this the wrong way JJ, but I genuinely think you'd be better suited tryna play a trombone. The bigger mouthpiece would be more compatible with your bigger lips. That being said, there are still plenty of good small-mouthpiece-brass instrument players with big lips, it just requires more practice. That's just my two cents on you asking what instrument you should conquer next lol

Coming from a trumpet player, when you do your spit thing (Embouchure) you neee to tighten the corners of your lips and control your spit.
