I feel that this is a possibility. He'd probably get into a meeting with Anakin and notice how similar he is at that point to Qui-Gon and reconsider his Sith position. Likewise, he'd probably have a hard time being accepted, let alone attempt to rejoin due to his fall to the Sith and being a little too tied to SIdious.

He committed so many war crimes, he'd 100% be put to death. He can have his feelings about the Jedi, and turn to the sith, but helping palpatine was wrong.

In fairness the Jedi in Revan's era were worse. Clone Wars they did at least have some people TRYING. Revan's era was just Revan, Alek, and Meetra, and then plot happened and they all kind of stopped being Jedi.

What if Anakin started a Civil War, more like what if Anakin was an ideal chosen one. Nice video I think it's interesting that it revolved mostly around Anakin having a different personality where his rebellious nature was in tune with a good reason.
Yes for this to happen Anakin would need a much different personality. He would prioritise winning the war over anything else during the clone wars and showed his authoritarian tendency even in attack of the clones. For Anakin helping the galaxy always meant maintaining order.
There are alot of reasons Anakin could want his own order...I can see a scenario with Anakin ranting infront of the council about how they lost their ways and that they are blinded and bring up how they treated Ahsoka and they that he will do things the old Jedi way and that some are free to fallow him..Those who fallow are those who got disillusioned when they expelled Ahsoka like Plo Koon..Mabye even Mundi joins because he secretly thinks Yoda is kinda turning to the darkside in this war a little and is clouded.
Well, It would be better if Anakin became the founder of the New Jedi Order instead of Luke instead of starting a Jedi Civil War. I don't mind if Anakin like a human of action can does something, but I exactly certainly wouldn't mind a story in which he creates the New Jedi Order instead of Luke.

This was honestly a great story, and a good example of how if Anakin realized the Jedi Order needed to be changed from the INSIDE, that it would significantly change the outcome.
I wonder if Dooku would have a full on repentance if Anakin was able to fix all the issues he had with the order. Palpatine would watch his grand plan end immediately. He would have the Jedi on top of having to deal with two rogue apprentices in Dooku and Maul. Bad days for the Sith imperative.

Would've been even more epic if Dooku, Sifo Dias and Qui gon Jinn had somehow remained in the Council and sided with Anakin. Then you'd have potential matchups like Kit Fisto and Plo Koon vs Muundi and Oppo Rancisis, Mace And Luminara vs Qui gon and Sifo Dias, and Yoda vs Dooku. Man what a brawl. Also a Shame the likes of Quinlan Voss, Aayla Secura and even possibly Pong Krell weren't able to attend.

All I can just see now is Darth Vader getting back into his Anakin Skywalker type personality and just leave the 501st in epic charge against the rebel alliance (casual banter and friendships with the clones all still apply)
This is by far my favorite story you've ever done. I could feel the love and care you took in writing it. As other's have said I truly believe this story should be the canon timeline. This makes so much sense for Anakin to be the balance of the force in this way since he rejected Mortis the way he did. This allows the force to travel freely through the entire galaxy in true balance.
What if anakin was the one the jedi council choose to have fake his death instead of obi wan and took obi wan place as the bounty hunter instead? What if Ventress trained Luke Skywalker? What if Sifo Dyas trained Anakin?
The first one if they chose to have Anakin fake his death instead of Obi-Wan's would have been a big one, Padmé would have been destroyed for certain probably even more than Satine was when they faked Obi Wan's death.
I doubt that Palps would have been taken by surprise from Maul and lose his eyes, i also think Dooku might have gone back to the order following the revolution (although he might have been too far gone at this point). Other than that it was an absolutely great story and i fully enjoyed liatening to it.
What if there already was a Grey Jedi Order at the times of The Phantom Menace and even predating or preaging it with Dooku, Qui Gon, Asajj, Plo, Quinlan, And Aayla all apart of it?
There was one in Legends: it was called the "Altisian Order," after its founder Djinn Altis. Joining the Altisian Jedi would have Certainly saved Anakin from Falling to the Dark Side, as they were the kind of Jedi Anakin Would have become, and Luke actually used their Philosophy to Improve his New Jedi Order.
While the one where Yoda deleted order 66 where great for Anakin and he escaped unscaved (even tho he was about to march a army on the Jedi temple), I think this is the absolute best outcome from the Jedi as a whole. Sure it reached a boiling point and lots of Jedi where killed, but it was swift and they grew to even greater highs later. What a amazing story you wrote here. If the prequals where the first trilogy, and George Lukas was still looking for excitement/tension, this could well have been one of the best outcomes.
7:54 I can envision Anakin at this point plugging in a Gibson Flying V or a Les Paul and cranking out a mad solo to purge his emotions. I've always envisioned Anakin as a guitar player ever since I saw a fan poster of a Star War's music concert with Vader on a six-stringer.

Hey man! I have been doing my install jobs and consuming just about all of your stories but this one is truly my favorite. It's so thorough and the themes and attitudes I think is your most true to character mentalities I think you've had in any of your stories. I listen to this one every other week and it's what I think has pushed me into casual reading between fanfics and canon/legend novels. I've been waiting to start the sith clone wars series so I can binge it but I think with it being almost done that I am going to start it now so I'm not letting it get away from me! Love all your content, I hope you aren't burning yourself out, and I hope you have a great holiday season if I leave no other comment. =)

Great 'what-if' scenario as always dude. And I honestly don't know which 'what-if' scenario is better, this one with Anakin becoming Grand Master, or the one with Master Yaddle becoming the new Grand Master. As I said before on another one of your 'what-if" scenario videos, you ALWAYS put a lot of time and thought and effort into your videos and I appreciate and respect the hell out of that. Again, great video as always dude.
I believe if Qui-Gon survived he would have left the order at some point with Anakin joining him (maybe Obi-Wan since he respected Qui-Gon so much) and trained him without the council. The only reason the council allowed Anakin to join was because it was Qui-Gon's last wish before he died, otherwise they would have rejected him. Even Obi-Wan told Yoda he will train Anakin without the will of the council if he must. Qui-Gon knew the order was becoming to involved in republic politics and not following the "will of the force" like they were meant to be doing. I think Anakin killing most of the Jedi was actually the will of the force, it's almost like hitting the reset button on the order and the government that was slowly becoming more corrupt. The "balance" to the force Anakin was supposed to bring couldn't happen if he was entirely evil or entirely good, he was a mix of both and Qui-Gon knew it.
Imagine if Any of the 1000s of elevators in the senate building suddenly decided to Shoot upwards at max speed after palpatine gets in, and flatten against the roof. "Thousands of years of Sith planning, brought to an End by a malfunctioning Turbolift"
This a remarkable story you made, Mr. Pente Patrol. The way you made this story more emotional but the same impactful and have Anakin be created as the Grand Master of the Jedi Order. I'm surprised how Anakin taking the mantle of being the Grand Master of the Jedi Order and doing more of a positive light and having five councils of the High Council to create a diversity of group sections and allowing any age and having attachments is a big boost for the future and I have feeling Maul. Savage could be alive and may plan to get revenge on Dooku, but most likely, he had perished from the pirates' saucer's attacks. This story is excellent, my friend; please keep up the fantastic work. No matter what happens, always stay true to yourself and ver sight for who you are for just being you and Cheerio, my friend, and may the force be with you! I would love to see a sequel, for this is a masterpiece, for I want to see this brand new trilogy with the adventures of Luke and Leia being Jedi Knights and them meeting with Han and Chewbacca. What else would be interesting is to have a new character for the main antagonist for this alternate timeline. What about Dagan Gera or the Nihil? Which choices would you like to make and why? Here is an exciting idea for a future Star Wars fanfiction what-if story: What if Anakin Skywalker had become Jedi Knight King of the Jedi? What do you think of that idea, Mr. Pente Patrol? What do you think, comments, and opinions about this idea?
It’s almost like communication is the only way to make things right but that requires humility which is a rare trait in the people who make the decisions for us.
This is probably the greatest story on this channel or at least in my opinion. We get a joyous and satisfying ending and Anakin truly becomes the best version of himself.

Ahsoka is a teenager and the student of Anakin. Either of those make this idea gross. The power differentials in the last one is disturbing to a high degree. You should not feel good about wanting that.
I liked how everything resloved, Anakin was happy, the jedi werent so poltical and maul got his revenge on sidious and got karma for what he himself had done. The only thing is that wont people say, so what happened to the Chancellor? He just disappeared.

I like to think that Sidious was genuinely happy that Anankin asked him how to be a politician. Like sure he’s a sith lord but I think politics was one of his all time loves in the galaxy. He was probably like “Not just my Sith Apprentice but a political one too.” Old guy was on cloud 9 I’m sure. Would just be so poetic when it all blew up in his face. The Tragedy of Darth Sidious, the Charming. Also one of the best what ifs ever.
I have 2 Star Wars "What If" ideas: (1) What if Anakin Skywalker and Padmé Amidala were Jedi who eventually became a Dyad in the Force? (2) What if Revan had trained Yoda?
Im surprised this didn't actually happen.So many Jedi fell to the darkside because of the Jedi behaving like warlords and not peacekeepers most notable Anakin,Bariss,Pon Krell.
Alternative Title: The council goes absolutely crazy. I feel especially with yoda and some others, they would've not been reduced to letting anyone ignite their lightsaber over something, that has by now been a "reasonably peaceful discussion". Cause with the council actually trying to kill them, they are basically taking quite a big step away from what they stand for and becoming a lot more evil in the process. Could almost transition this into a part 2 of: "What if the jedi council joined Palpatine" :D

Hey if you are going to view this video please smash that "Like" button. First off this Story was great b/c Plo Koon sided with Anakin ad lived, okay onto the rest. Pente, again you knocked this out of the ballpark! Well written, you delicately handled the Jedi vs Jedi fight. The passive downfall of the Sith was damned good writing. Hondo for the most part is always entertaining, probably one of my favorite characters in The Clone Wars, he brought a lot of personality to the show. Sidious being back stabbed by Dooku was awesome and a bit of Karma as well. So much went on in this story with Anakin but it wasn't Anakin being Uber Jedi Force User. The story portrayed Anakin as a maturing, rational, highly intelligent, wise, and humble individual who saw the bigger picture. The duel between Anakin and Larry Steve Obi Wan Kenobi was great, as it showed his compassion and restraint. This is like a "What If Anakin grew up". Again Great Story you focused on so many unique things in this story it showed a whole new growth in your writing.
I'm glad you enjoyed! I'm not gonna lie I really wanted to make the Jedi Civil War believable and it was prob one of the hardest elements to convey here. But I'm so glad so many of you have enjoyed this! Thank you!
