PPSW do a what if Mother Talzin and Yoda joined forces to defeat Palpatine as he was a threat to both of their groups and I can see a way if could have happened.

@@aguest8150 You know, Talzin said to Dooku at one point "you'd die either way, it was a matter of how painful it would be" before the spell was disrupted. She should have just killed Dooku if she had the power. Villains stopping to torture their quarry is probably the number one mistake, next to bragging.

@Pente Patrol Star Wars This was one massive story, and those dont get completed without devotion to the task. Honour to you. May you continue to be an example for others, that they too would persist in hobbies that bring them joy. Call me a perfectionist, I have a couple of suggestions that can flesh out this seemingly too-nice side of a powerful crime-boss. Jabba knows how to be generous but I doubt it would ever be evidenced without cunning. Jabba has the means to acquire ownership of any slave he pleases, assuming he isnt competing with other Hutts or a large government etc. Watto would have to be very keen to keep Jabba's good will to actually forego a life-time of winnings from Anakin's racing career, of course for a high enough price. I can see three reasons Jabba would not buy Anakin: simple laziness, or patiently awaiting some occasion to use such a purchase to manipulate the racer, or perhaps hesitation - if he grabbed others slaves/property carelessly some might become suseptible to the bribes of his rivals, disrupting the balance of power he preferred to maintain. That last one is unlikely, I admit, and a combination of the other two most likely. Anakin may have earned his favour but this nobody-girl had not, so I suspect he would have been sure to cut some small deal on principle at the very least... unless she played on the fact that any move against Anakin was informally a move against Jabba himself, due to their long-standing business relationship. That would make it a matter of Jabba's reputation instead of some nobody begging for a favour, & legitimizes the earlier mention of her political awareness as a child having developed over the years. Again, respect for what you've accomplished here. Stay snazzy.

I mean if the chancellor died at the end of the rebellion, and most of the Jedi were wiped out during order 66, technically the force is in balance and there’s no need for the force to push anakin into becoming a Jedi

Like it or not, the Jensaarai are Canon in both continuities (sources, *Disciples of Harmony* expansion of the Force and Destiny RPG (Canon) and *I, Jedi* (Legends)). And don't pretend that you don't know that the Bendu exists. The term Grey Jedi appears in Legends for both Jedi who deviate from the Council's rule and people who walk the thin line between Light and Dark. The term derives from "Dark Jedi," which was the term used for the character Mara Jade in Timothy Zahn's early novels because the term "Sith" never actually appears in the Original Trilogy; Vader is instead called the "last vestige of [the Jedi]'s ancient religion" by Tarkin. Yes, the term "Sith" appears in the script notes for "A New Hope" with no context other than it has something to do with Vader (is it a religion? a species? a planet?). Yes, George Lucas sent out a letter about what the term Sith means (and a bunch of other stuff to outline to EU writers) after he found out how popular Timothy Zahn's novels were. No, that doesn't justify anyone ignoring Star Wars history by pretending that Force-sensitive religions that don't strongly align towards one side or the other didn't exist in Legends and don't exist in Canon, nor does it justify Pablo Hidalgo pretending not to know that the term "Dark Jedi" exists just to get a cheap joke about "Grey Vegetarians."

@@debkalpapal2682Without Anakin the Sith grand plan would likely be delayed. It’s possible Palpatine would’ve held off on betraying his Master until the Clone Wars and look elsewhere, possibly within the Jedi Order, for his apprentice.

The thing is that a great part of Palpatine’s plans and motivations revolves around Anakin, so without him I can see Plagious not being betrayed by Palps, eventually the two manipulate Dooku and start Plagious vision of a new Sith alliance devoid of the rule of two, maybe even incorporating Maul, Ventress and Grievous in their ranks. The new Sith order becomes more powerful eventually fueling the Clone Wars and starting the great plan, the Galactic Republic, lacking one of its greatest military assets in the form of Anakin, starts loosing battle after battle, with things like the Geonosian factories or the Malevolence surviving and becoming deciding factors on the conflict

Yeah but part of me thinks that it just wouldn't be possible for that to happen I don't think the force would let it happen, Even if the Jedi never discovered him I'm pretty sure Darth Plagueis or Sidious eventually would have and tried to recruit him.

Or another thing I just thought of he probably would have started to receive visions from the father, the son, or the daughter. In any case we know he was still extremely force sensitive in this scenario.

I agree with that completely because I don't think denying that he had some connection to it should have been completely ignored.

And he even accomplished what he wanted, without being a Jedi. Funny. A jedi that fell to the dark side and watched slave labor. A Sith that wanted to free all slaves but kept lusting for more power. Neither accomplished their goal. Meanwhile, here's little pod racer Anakin freeing the slaves of the huts by being so good at racing.

In order Palpatine is screwed I could picture dooku leveraging that position not hiding his ability and trying to and trying to blackmail the jedi into surrendering so they went to war. The jedi likely do not accept surrender and are murdered for their trouble minus any who surrender. The Galaxy is pretty screwed. Dark side yoda is some nightmare shit even in universe. The thing is I don't think yoto would try to conquer the Galaxy he would probably become a recluse building his power and training those who asked for it and that is why the Galaxy is screwed because there would be a bunch of yoda trained dark jedi running around A lot of jedi would be defecting during the war.

"What if Dooku discovered the key to immortality?" Depends. If this was when he was still in the Jedi order, he'd basically have solved Anakin's entire character arc entirely. If this was during the Clone Wars, Anakin would probably end up leaving the order and seek Dooku out to learn this new power. "What if Yoda fell to the dark side fighting Sidious?" This is a very unlikely one, as apparently Yoda's species is supposed to be resistant to the dark side. As a result, I don't think Yoda would fully fall so much as experience a "slip" and then recover himself. The one consensus throughout every depiction of the dark side is that it is addicting as long as it has something to offer its users. Defeating Sidious would be a short-term goal to feed that addiction, so Yoda would continue to slip deeper and deeper in during the fight, but there is nothing he would want in the long term that the dark side can offer. Yoda would probably exile himself out of shame afterwards. "What if another lightside order emerged to rival the Jedi during the Clone Wars?" Interestingly, there were actually a few candidates for this. The Matukai were an order of warrior monks (even more fitting of the term than the Jedi were) who learned methods of improving their connection with the Force AND for using the Force to increase their physical capabilities. There was also the Jensarrai, who were a split-off "gray" order merging Jedi and Sith teachings into something comparable to the pre-schism Jed'dai order. And of course, we're all familiar with the Witches of Dathomir and their dark-side offshoot, the Nightsisters. If any of these were to rise to prominence, I could see things being VERY different for the Jedi. The post Russaan Jedi order was particularly intolerant of other force Orders of any kind, due to being given total legal jurisdiction over any matters involving the Force. However, the particulars would depend on which order came to prominence. The Matukai would likely try to ally themselves with the Jedi by siding with the Republic, but that could cause the Jedi to distance themselves. The Jensarrai would likely be branded as darksiders regardless of their actual force attunement and be forced to side with the CIS, and would likely cause enough of a shift in galactic power structures that the CIS wouldn't be able to stay under Palpatine's thumb - we'd likely see a CIS victory at that point due to their superior numbers and ability to replace losses a lot quicker. As for the Witches, they'd likely remain neutral and focus on humanitarian efforts (including the Nightsisters in their own way, likely as warriors protecting civilians on both sides), while the Jedi futilely try to sway both the Witches and Nightsisters to their side (despite being darksiders, the Nightsisters actually maintained lukewarm relations with the Jedi). This could eventually lead to non-violent conflict between the Jedi and the Witches.
