What if Anakin Went to Hell but Found Redemption in Hazbin Hotel? Let’s explore the depths of this scenario in the video.
Anakin gets to his feet and looks around at the land before him. The first thing he feels is the intense heat. The air is practically steaming, almost as bad as Mustafar. Beyond, he sees a massive city sprawling before him.
Even from a distance, he can hear the chaos below. There’s gunfire, explosions, and destruction all around, and moving between the streets are vicious-looking demons. He’s read enough Jedi texts to know where he is.
Anakin: Shit.
As he makes his way down, the city looks even worse up close. He’s seen battlefields with less destruction than this. But thankfully most of the demons leave him alone. As Anakin steps over a puddle he glances down at himself. He’s still wearing the ruins of his armor, but now his face is exposed revealing a set of bloody red eyes and bone-white flesh.
Eventually, he finds a hotel at the edge of the city. When he knocks on the door, quick footsteps thunder across the floorboards and the door swings open, revealing a usually perky-looking demon.
Charlie: Welcome to the Hazbin Hotel!
Anakin: The what-
Before he can finish, Charlie takes him by his hand and pulls him inside. He soon finds himself seated on their couch just as Charlie brings him some tea and explains who they are, complete with a song and dance which just leaves Anakin even more confused.
Anakin: Wait, so this is hell? And I ended up here.
Questions run through his mind. He knew he made mistakes. After everything I did…all those people he’s killed he thought he found redemption on the Death Star. He thought that would have been enough..
Realization dawns on Charlie’s face as she flashes a sympathetic smile.
Charlie: Oh I’m sorry, I get it, you’re a new sinner. Uh yes, this is hell so I’m sorry you had to hear this way. But now that you’re here maybe you can finally redeem yourself.
By the time she finishes, other demons start to head inside the main room.
Vaggie: But this raises the question, what did you do to end up here?
Anakin: I-I don’t remember. The last thing I remember is that I was in my son's hands after I killed the emperor who was trying to murder him.
Angel Dust: Not exactly the thing that gets a guy sent to hell. Although if you are staying here, baby. You’re welcome to share a room with me as long you wear all that black leather to bed.
Anakin recoils in horror as the spider demon crawls up to him.
Charlie: Oh I know what to do. It's some magic my dad showed me. If you want that is.
Anakin hesitates but gives a slight nod. Charlie closes her eyes, raises her hands, and holds them on either side of his head. A swirling, ethereal mist rises above his head and forms a large glowing sphere that showcases scenes from Anakin’s past.
The first image flickers into view: Anakin, clad in dark robes, marches into the Jedi Temple with a legion of clone troopers.
As he leads them to storm the temple until Anakin finds a group of younglings hiding in the chambers, looking at Anakin for help. That is until he ignites his lightsaber.
Vaggie: No… you didn’t…
Anakin himself screams in pain as he feels himself reliving each memory as if they are happening. He shakes his head and tries to break the connection.
The scene shifts again to the fiery planet of Mustafar where Anakin marches into the CIS council chambers. As they implore him for protection, his only response is to shut the doors and begin cutting them down.
Finally, the vision ends with Anakin, clad in the black armor of Darth Vader, standing alongside Grand Moff Tarkin as they oversee the destruction of Alderaan.
As the mist dissipates, the room is left in stunned silence. Vaggie’s hands tremble as she raises at Anakin,
Vaggie: “You… you murdered children… You destroyed an entire planet? How… how can you even try to justify that?”
Anakin steps back.
Anakin: It was… I was a different man back then. I was lost, consumed by the dark side. The emperor told me I was doing what needed to be done to bring peace. But I know now… it was wrong. I’ve spent every moment since trying to make amends.
Vaggie: You think a few good deeds erase the blood on your hands? The blood of children! You’re here because of what you did, and nothing you say can change that.
Charlie, sensing the tension, steps between them, her voice gentle but firm.
Charlie: Vaggie, I know what he did was horrible, but he’s here because he wants redemption.
Vaggie glances at her, but then shakes her head. She lowers her spear and takes Charlie by the hand and leads her out of earshot.
Vaggie: You see the good in everyone, you know I love that about you. But there are limits to what redemption can do. This guy…he’s killed billions. Do you think he can be redeemed?
Charlie: I-I’m not sure. But
