There are so many things that could have gone wrong with Palpatine's plan it makes me wonder if Palpatine found the world between worlds inanther timeline and used it to set himself up for victory.

Good story. I've never seen a story were Palpatine doesn't fight both Yoda and Windu when they confront him, truthfully I don't think he'd fight them both at once he wasn't sure he could take Yoda and both would be suicide. Give us a story where Palpatine doesn't fight them both and says he'd already planned on releasing his emergency powers but causes and argument where he makes the Jedi look like their power hungry. Basically I've seen Palpatine fight both masters and lose and in some videos win but its still foolish and if Palpatine was really forced to hide Grevious he'd do it at the works he's the Chancellor he'd sneak him in at least until he either had Anakin or someone else to take up leadership

Rex was already with Ahsoka on Mandalore at this point.
