Mod requested by FrameRater, Made by legobouwer9, Remix made by Roki3263, and Modded in by me (NickyFan7). This was heck on Lego, hope you're happy FrameRater.
@@EmeraldBlade98 Actually iirc the issue at the time was that the heatwave effect affected the parallax scrolling of the Background so if you removed it then the background simply wouldn't scroll. However a mod was made that disables the effect while keeping the scrolling intact by DaKingofCheckerz and it furthers the Illusion of it not being burnt only thing left to really do would be append the Act 2 Tileset with tiles to overide what remains of the flames in act 2's tile set but nobody really feels like doing that.
i mean if this was a jungle stationed on top of a massive underground aqueduct with an active magma core nearby and plenty of sunlight to boot, there'd be no doubt that inner angel island would be humid as _f*ck._
THANK YOU SO MUCH! Now we need Lava Reef if it didn't go cold. ;) You've already done enough lol, let's see if someone else decides to take a look at that!
It wasn't really me, legobouwer9 made the mod, Roki made the music and I just modded it in I did give the mod to the creator of the music to repost though so my mod is no longer up.
@@mypkamax Once again, they did. He only started the fire in Act 1.5 Hence the glitch where Act 2's music plays in Act 1 if you enter the bonus stage or the special stage ring.
@@thewanderinggamer1369 But what if Eggman never arrived to Angel Island to begin with? Even if he did, he could have come up with a less barbaric solution to his plan.
i love how the music wasnt just turned major, but completely changed so it fits really well and sounds amazing to boot! i wish i could listen to the song alone without the gameplay!
My god, this looks beautiful. AIGHT HEADCANON TIME Tails went to poke around Angel Island to see where Sonic and him could stay for their holiday on Angel Island. Robotnik already put out his badniks to inspect the area before he sent out the miniboss, and once everything looks safe enough, he goes back to Sonic on Westside Island and they both board the tornado to go to Angel Island, but unbeknownst to Tails, the last descendant of the Echinda tribe, Knuckles was there, and Robotnik already brainwashed him.
You know, I always wondered if it was possible without mods honestly. The fire doesn't happen just as act 2 starts, it all goes up in flames during act 1... So I wondered if you played your cards very, very precisely in debug mode, if you could "sneak" past the act 1 midboss that sets the zone ablaze and get into the rest of act 1, and thus act 2, without the place burning down.
Not possible at all. That's because the game fools you into thinking Act 1 has a section after the mini boss when the island goes on fire. But if you look into the game's memory, you will find out that actually Act 1 exists only to that first miniboss. Right after the firing up of everything, it is already Act 2 technically, at least in the way that the game organizes itself internally. That's why there is that overlook when you get out of bonus or special stage and Act 2 music starts to play, even though the title card shows Act 1. I don't know if I've made myself very clear about it.
They wouldn't place in the non-burnt level chunks for the burnt half of Act 1 and all of Act 2 if you aren't normally meant to see it, so unfortunately you don't see anything after the cutscene zone other than corrupted level data
@@ramirosilva9662 Clear enough, it makes sense thinking about. Just used to be a wild pipe dream for me as a teen, ha. I think LRZ act 2 tries something a bit similar with its palette and tileset swap, but not as extensively as AIZ, and then all other Sonic 3 zones are pretty much standard affair. Late response btw, I know. Was sidetracked admittedly. Regardless, nice to have a mod with an intact AIZ Act 2 at last!
What happened to the music? What happened to Tails? What happened to some object palettes? Why are the rocks still orange? Why is the background being weird? This mod is faulty. Why's the tree still red? (I'm assuming it's a tree.)
- Possibly changed to sound a little more positive than the original Angel Island Act 2. Could maybe also be separate from the original mod. - Mod added to the game alongside the Angel Island Act 2 one, you can play the mod without the modified Tails - Possibly a palette-related issue, the rocks might share the same part of the palette as the floor for Act 2 (because Act 2's palette is separate from Act 1's) - It's an effect added to the background for the original Angel Island Act 2 to make the background loo like it's burning. I don't think the maker of this mod can easily change that unless they're skilled at changing the game's script or something. - The tree criticism is a fair one since I don't think it shares palette slots with other chunks of the Act.
All We Need Know Is Angel Island Act 1 On Fire Edit: And A Heatwave In Angel Island Act 1 (Because There's A Mod A Makes The Angel Island Act 2 Heatwave Go Bye Bye)
@@ilostsandwichpermissions2360no I think he means he played so much sonic exe that burning angel island reminds him of hide and seek especially when tails is there
