What if Normandie was saved? (Just to make it a bit more interesting), when the fire happens its eventually controlled and the ship is saved from burning up. How does her career look now? Here's a few other ideas: What if the Empress of Ireland survived? What if the Wilhelm Gustloff wasn't sunk? What if Titanic collided with SS New York? What if Lusitania survived? What if RMS Oceanic was built? What if RMS Carpathia survived WW1?

I feel if this would've happened. The Britannic would've been preserved. Giving its history and affliction with the Titanic.

I love the fact that in our timeline, Britannic was not meant to be the ship plying the route that day, but in this timeline, it was the Aquitania who was not meant to be there. In the real world, Aquitania would’ve been the one supposed to be there that day, but the Britannic took it instead.

Idea: What if the White star line diden't scrap alot of ships and when the merge happend it became White star Cunard, And the RMMV Oceanic was build instead of the Queen mary.

If Aquatania did sank in WW1, I think Cunard would've received Bismarck ( Majestic in OTL ) as compensation. Meanwhile, White Star Line would've *possibly* never cancelled the original planned RMS Germanic, and the development of RMMV Oceanic iii would've happened earlier. Also, I have another scenario to suggest. In September 1925, there was a hoax message of a bomb planted within RMS Berengaria, but the threat failed to materialize. So, could you make a scenario of what if Berengaria was actually sank by a planted bomb ?

Well, then basically after the war, White Star Line would probably have more success than Cunard, if they were only gifted 1 ship. and White Star Line would take the majority in the merge. RMMV Oceanic might have been made.

You should do a what if about if Olympic was sunk by U-103.

Here me out: what if Lusitania Hit an iceberg a year before Titanic set sail. How would things change? would the queen Mary exist? and would WW1 even happen? also the Olympic gets preserved like queen Mary, Thats canon.

I actually wrote a concept last year for an alternate timeline where this exact scenario happened. In this other timeline, Titanic survived and White Star came to dominate the Atlantic instead of Cunard. During WW1 Cunard lost the Lusitania, Mauretania, and Aquitania.

Truth is, Aquitania was due to sail that November, but for some reason it was unable to, so Britannic was called in, so this very well could of happened

Honestly, I don't know if this would've changed much. On one hand, Britannic would've lived, and it's possible that Queen Mary would not have been built, since in this timeline Cunard's weekly timetable would've been slightly behind that of White Star, which would now have three ships of similar size and performance: Olympic, Britannic, and Majestic. The third Oceanic may well have been built in place of Queen Mary. But on the other hand, it's possible that things still would've gone Cunard's way regardless, simply due to the shrewd expertise of Sir Percy Bates and his close relationship with the Admiralty and Monarchy.
