Very interesting. Seemingly the same scene as with Tav, but the emphasis is on slightly different places. And as always, I admire the developers and actors for a lot of work, and recording the same dialogues in 10 different ways XD
It's true. The developers are great. Yes, it seems to be the same here, but surprisingly for me, Astarion behaves like a really good guy. I don't mean that he's bad, but when there's Tav in this scene, he wants to sacrifice spawns and the emphasis is on that.
Erm excuse me, but how badass is that "I'm Cazador's doom," just casually thrown in there. Compared to the scene with Tav though he's less witty, when they could have made the usual dialogue work alone had they chosen to. Makes me wonder if he shows off a bit for Tav 😂 Thanks for sharing this!
@@lovechafes she wanted to find a cure and take the girl's blood. but the girl had a protective seal or spell on her and it worked in the opposite direction. technically it's an accident
@@iamkittybg3 it’s not an accident, she thought a “massive infusion” of youthful blood from a child would cure her infection, she had every intention of killing her in the first place
@@aleksandramusia3563iirc Cazador kept Leon's daughter captive in order to maintain his cooperation. She died during captivity, and grief can make even the best of people do shocking things
@@KarlAndArma4ever it's hinted that one of the other spawn killed her -- I'm sure that's a very comfortable discussion for the first few days in the underdark.
@@hiraethey Yes, but it wasn't on purpose. Dalyria wanted to use Leon's daughter's blood to create a cure for vampirism, not knowing that she had some kind of blood magic cast on her. Still, will make for a very awkward talk should it come to light exactly *how* she died.
@@KarlAndArma4ever she says in her diary that he told her about the curse and she just didn't believe him, which... Caz holding a hostage despite literal mind control should have tipped you off it wasn't. I also personally got the impression that it was very necessary to ward her, it's been a while since I read the thing but I thought her reasoning implied she'd have to drain the girl entirely (and probably a few more people) because... science? Idk I remember being like well. Choices were made. My first Tav def told Leon as he was leaving, expecting him to kill her once they were out of immediate danger 😂.
