Both are people who wanted to break the cycle of death and pain that repeated itself, both of them command an army of people who believe in their cause, they are both treated as villains, even though their intentions to stop the world's suffering is pure, and they don't find joy in killing.

The season 2 opening didn't actually spoil much. Most of the stuff in the opening didn't actually happen, like the flying whales and the dinosaurs. That being said, I'm very glad I unintentionally avoided the season 3 part 2 opening's spoilers because that was everything.

Thanos is the more epic character than eren. He should've been protagonist/antagonist in aot. Would be most epic version of aot.

My guess is that Japanese anime openings and fight-scene music is intentionally written to be as “generic” as possible. That way it can be repurposed for more than just a single use. It’s why the memes like ‘You Say Run’ or ‘Guile’s Theme’ goes with anything” works so well. One of the major moments in any anime is when a big fight scene breaks out in the show, and the title music begins playing. That’s when you know things have gotten serious!
