I don't think Madara and Hashirama would die in peace. Had Madara not got manipulated by Zetsu, he still had enough reasons to turn against Hashirama's rule and Konoha and eventually would revolt against Hidden Leaf Village.

Orochimaru would've been killed by Minato though, when they caught up to his experiments in the leaf. Hiruzen didn't because he hesitated at killing his student. Minato would have no such problem. Therefore no Kabuto taking up his work either, nor would he have the resources to do so. Also I believe Toneri only made an appearance because of how he saw the world end up freeing Kaguya, and didn't trust the descendants of Hagoromo and thier peace anymore. But yea I guess that wouldn't be nearly as interesting as a story. The version I suggested would end the same, except Momoshiki would destroy the earth instead
