@@RedSpade-cf6jr That mig belonged to the POD whom probably captured it from the Russian Army stationed in Ronograd military base or on the aircraft carriers in naval base. The RLF is just a bunch of poorly trained insurgents, they dont own any military hardware.

I mean, imagine if a new enemy called Commander gets added getting the ability to call air support if his base is taken by operators too many times in a short period of time.
I think it would be cool if you air strike an enemy base too many times with the a 10 the commander calls an mig 23 to take you down but you can't fight back so that you won't attack the enemy base too many times just like the guy above me said but without aim 9 missiles and the mig 23 doesn't come immediately to attack u
based on the already kinda clunky control of an a10 its not going happen. But if they imitate the war thunder control and make the ai less of an ai then it will go somewhere but with their reputation its highly unlikely
If the MIG-23 is added to POD or RLF then we as A-10 pilots are all screwed. But if it's under the UN Joint Task Force fighter wing then we should be fine.
It's a MIG 27: a ground attack variant plattform of the MiG 23, with the RGE you can see that's a MiG 27 by the vertical stabilizer and the engine air entrances, and the MiG 23 doesn’t have pylons on it’s wings, but the MiG 27 has missiles (K13 Atoll) on it’s wings, indicating that there’s a pylon.
That is a Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-23. The difference is that on the MiG-15 is, quite literally, a flying engine, in that the engine is the nose, and thus it does not have a "normal" nose. The MiG-15 is also smaller. MiG-23 uses more modern engines. If they were to use the MiG-23 in-game, good luck to them designing the lore behind how an insurgent force procured such a complicated machine. Now the Taliban may know how to fly Blackhawks, but that was due to Taliban-allied engineers flew there to train a new batch of pilots. But what about the PoD and RLF? Is China going to be their supplier, since they were specifically excluded from the lore? Well I hope not since someone will hunt for all of us if that happens.
The POD are basically a terrorist group consists of former intelligence officers around the world like CIA, FBI, FSB, etc… So they would be no stranger to these military hardwares and that crashed MiG was probably seized from the Ronograd military base or from the aircraft carriers at the naval base by the POD because u could see the POD logo on the tail. About the humvees and the blackhawks, some are probably captured from the P5 operatives hence there is a quest where u have to destroy a crashed blackhawk to avoid the PODs getting their hands on P5 military hardwares. As far as I know, the PODs could manufacture their own weapons as u can see in quest where u have to destroy a POD made 50 cal. M2 HMG and there are also several unfinished blackhawks and soviet IS-3 tank in the revamped Ronograd military base hangars and the depot, hindering that they also have the abilities to manufacture their own weapons without trainings from a 3rd party. Or….they could just smuggle it from the U.S since some of them are former CIA operatives so….. about your take on China supporting the POD, I dont see a possibility here since there is no evidence to prove that China supported the PODs.
Man I see you in every brm5 comment anyways the PoD and RLF are Russians who turned their back on Russia and joined the RLF and I hope they add the mig 23/27 in the game because the island takes place in Russia I think it could used as a cheaper and a bit worse Version of the A 10

While playing I had the idea to end off the ronograd map since there is going to be a new one if the F.O.B. Gets raided and that’s it is a whole server event thing and someone has to take control of the AA at the front and everyone working together to defend the base
They are never gonna add another Aircraft to the game, especially for players but maybe AI might get an old Russian/Soviet Aircraft as a Mini wave because there actually used to be an A-10 as a wave in Operation Viper but it was deleted in Resurgence (the current one). Edit: in the Trello, it says they won't be adding any attack Aircraft but it says that they are still Working in Progress on the additional enemy types.
they would prob also add anothet jet with it such as the F-16 or something like to compare with it. So the enemy team calls in the Mig to fight with your jet.
Too little runway and too little map space. Besides, not everyone has the expertise to fly such complicated aircraft. Plus frame rate will decrease faster than our grades.
If the lore says that the LRF uses A-10 but why there is a MIG-23 Crashed?, It should be a A-10 For my opinion, I Think that they used it OR They got shot down by Friendly (possibly AA or a A-10)
i mean i kinda think this is supposed to be a pod a10 (from older versions of the game) but if youre right and they are working on a mig 23 then this is gonna be one hell of an update
@@Cringe_Merchant the Developers deny any suggestions regarding planes and as far as I remember they had said they won't be adding any more planes. That's just what I know & remember, my memory could be clouded up since I'm a 2019 player and have to remember tons of stuff.
Su 25 is fr famous for being the a 10 equivalent . Also haves a 30 mm as far as i know and looking at the time frame that a 6 is made and used idk if u can even call it an equivalent then thats like calling a p51 a cursader f8 idk Just doesnt fit. Su 25 and the a10 thunderbird are more close to each other and as far as i know the ay is a 2 pilot plane and doesnt have guns atleast not build in.
@@Bife_11 well uh, wing pod is not a real term, so I have no idea what you’re referring to, but the mig 23 can absolutely carry k13’s on the inner pylons.

Wouldn’t make sense + stupid idea. We already have the A-10. So why bother adding another jet that will 99% have the same stuff as the A-10 and will have no difference whatsoever other then the design and possibly their weapons.

@@MobileTaskForceE11 yeah, you're right, devs are lasy asf now, they literally just trashed their game and barely do updates anymore, completely ruined their game and got rid of everything there is that makes it fun, like what was there reason to get rid of mountain bags, i can't really name everything but there was alot they removed and for no reason it seems like, and yes, you're probably right about the aircraft updates, but hopefully, just hopefully, they'll quit being lazy and start caring about their game.
