What If Elden Ring Bosses Were Pokémon? | SPOILERS for Shadow of the Erdtree 

Trainer: **gets Bayle to 5 hp, throws an Ultra Ball** Ultra Ball: **Shakes twice, pauses, fails to capture** Trainer: *"CUUUURRRRSSSEEE YOOUU BAAAAYLE!!! I hereby vow, you will rue the day!!!"*

I think it would be cool to make Bayle a fire/electric type, but give it an ability that had fire or electric type moves take the characteristics of a dragon type move, or make them super effective against dragons, or just ignore resistance. Bayle not being a dragon type helps differentiate him and his drakes from the ancient dragons he betrayed.

Fun fact: The missing heads of placi are actually on bayles back

I think a custom hidden ability "Electrical Burn" wouldve also worked. It could allow any electric type move have a small chance to apply the burned debuff

I quite like the idea that Bayle is Fire/Electric, and Half Formed means that at 1/2 HP its type changes to purely Dragon but gets to keep thr STAB bonus for Electric and Fire

If these guys are legendries then Half-Form can give them a type of third typing, like Half Formed B, For Bayle giving him both the Type charactertics of fire types and strength up to fire based moves like flamethrower to give it a almost stab damage, while Half Formed P for Placidusax giving him the Characteristics of Rock types and strength up to rock based moves like ancient power and if they are Opposing mon or counter legendries it should also show that with status, with Bayle being the ATK focused one while Placidusax can be S.ATK focused as well. Love the art on both as well.

I feel like a good ability for Placidusax would be that when hp reaches a certain amount, his evasiveness increases, as if to simulate how he turns into clouds for his second phase

I thought a perfect name for a pokemon version of Bayle would be Baylefell.

Byle also got one of his Legs torn off He also still got 2 of Plasidusaxes Heads biting down on him

If you spread out to the rest of the bosses from the base game, I feel like Elden Beast and Metyr would be the Box Legendaries. Elden Beast for the Faith Edition, and Metyr for the Intelligence Edition. Edit: Bayle could be the Box Legendary for Arcane Edition.

I’d love to see Messmer as a three-stage evolution that starts adorable and ends badass.

I like the idea of half formed, but for Bayle another idea for an ability could be something that has it gain stab damage for Fire moves, since Bayle's lightning does electric and fire damage.

If i didn't know any better, I'd think that bayle was placidusax's missing head

OH MY ARCEUS!!! A Bayle Pokemon and Placidusax Pokemon!? YEEEEEEEEEES! Dude, seriously, I LOVE the way you did both of them! They look like True Legendaries! Bayle(Pokemon) looks so DESTRUCTIVE, MONSTROUS, MENACING, and BADASS! And Placidusax(Pokemon) looks so MAGNIFICENT, EPIC, GRANDIOSE, and POWERFUL! I so Wish these 2 were Real, so I can Catch them both and put either one on my Main Team! You did them PERFECTLY! I honestly would LOVE to see a video of what their Full Forms look like when the ability kicks in! I can see it making both of their stats boosted even more so and turning the Designs into their Prime(Bayle with his Wings Alite and Placudisax having his Middle Head revealed/returned/grown-back)! I hope there will be more Elden Ring Bosses as Pokemon Videos in the Future! And for a Elden Ring Suggestions: How about either Lichdragon Fortissax(Dragon/Ghost), Rykard Lord of Blasphemy/Devouring Serpent(Fire/Dark), ANY of the Wyverns from Elden Ring XD(Agheel/Greyll/Greyoll: Dragon/Flying. Borealis: Dragon/Ice. Or Ekzykes: Dragon/Poison.), or Great Magma Wyrm Theodrorix(Dragon/Fire or Dragon/Fighting)? Also, Question: Have you thought of doing other Soulsborne Bosses as Pokemon?

Bael is such a cool concept for a dragon, just the absolute peak of ferocity, 1 if my favourite dragons of all time now I personally think Dragon/Dark would have fit as a type due to the DREAD title and the brutally in his design But I can easily see his signature move being both fire & electric, perhaps a dragon move that could burn or paralyze when it lands Wasn't expecting Placidusax here, awesome, now THIS guy I can see as a Dragon/Electric due to all of his attacks being thunder based, since he has DRAGON lightning, they could set up electric terrain, or maybe get boosted from it

Idk if you've done it already but I'd love to see midra and have it be psychic fire type with the rags playing more into the form of its body maybe? Using the barbed staff he uses as a way to incorporate arms and legs? Idk something u can play with but I love that boss

For bayle i like the idea for it to switch types though his primary should be dragon/fire since he is more keen to fire element. I can already think of a signature move thunder smash which is lighting formed on his wings and smashes downwards. As for placidusax dragon/electric fits him perfect though idk if he should have two signature moves, one for sure is the bolt of gransax just like the game stabs the bolt then detonates and this one i came up with he creates three electric heads that fire a beam all together.

If you ever do Megas for this series, I'd love to see a Mega Bayle with the phase 2 design \:)

I love the designs of Bayle and Placidusax, but I do have two gripes with them, one for each. Firstly, Bayle uses lightning and magma, so it could be a Dragon/Dark type whose ability that boosts Electric and Fire type moves. Secondly, Placidusax has four heads, not three. Aside from those two, I LOVE this and would love to see more!! ❤

Just discovered these and they are all great. Honestly at first I was hoping to see wings of fire on Bayle but I think what you did ends up working better for a Pokémon. Also really curious to see what you'll do with Metyr Mother of finger. I feel like if you had to stay close to source with Bayle, it's the opposite with Metyr.

I love this design! Altho, technically, bayle is a drake and so his wings are his arms(not a critique of the design just me being pedantic about the lore overview, the design having arms makes sense for pokemon)

For Half-Formed, I think it'd be cool if instead of changing one of its regular types, it gave it a third type. I'd have Bayle be Dragon/Fire at base, with the Electric typing coming in through Half-Formed. Placidusax is good starting Dragon/Electric, and I'd have the third type coming in be Rock for him. Would this make both of them absolute chumps for Any Ground Type to take down? Yes. Do I care? No.

If I'm not mistaken, Bayle is also missing a hind leg, not just the wings and fore legs

I love how you tried to avoid copying motif's in the other design, but it seemed like you unintentionally went all in on Kyurem, whom also shares the half formed idea, stubby arms(lack of arms) and that same stance, they asymmetrical design and wings. Not to say that this is not a good translation of the original design, but idk I like how you tried to avoid some shared design elements and find work around and problem solve from the original designs such as in Basilance. Really like the translation overall just Kyurem immediately is what I thought of when I saw the stance.
