What If Every Shop Item Became PERMANENT? BTD6 / Bloons TD 6 - this is the 2nd part of the 1 hero test with the balanced mod that makes heroes' abilities permanent but weaker, where we cover the remaining 6 heroes. And of the remaining ones, one stands out much more than the rest...

having the items become permanent definitely leads to a stacking phenomenon that is excessively good for specifically a solo run. i think perma-genie would be like, worse in CHIMPS though, for example.

Definitely worse in chimps I'd say for 25k. Gerardo is so good on chimps because for a little money you can get a large increase in power from shop items, for a short time. In regular games where money is easier to get and monkey knowledge allows you to hold off the bloons easier, this staking effect of the permanent items is excessively strong.

honestly would love to see some form of permanent ability's in the base game for the super casual players like myself. I would love something like supply drop to do something without my input.

@F_I_R_E. Techbot+farmer+elite sniper. Techbot and farmer cost very little and are permanent until you die. And elite sniper triggers all other sniper abilities.

My thoughts on the permanent hero is that they are supposed to be weaker(if they want the hero to be balanced) because the hero is made to be easier to use. Players will get rewarded with a better tower if they choose to use the ability themselves.

I agree, this mod does do an extremely good job at balancing though for most the heros.

@MariTheNon I'd say Gerardo is balanced, he spent 300,000 or something on shop items. Each Geni was 25k, all the fire and pickles were a few thousand each, and everything else. The amount of money put in to Gerardo was more than the cost of Legend of the night. Or the price of big plane and supermines with buffs. You could afford a dart paragon with decent degrees or be very close to affording it for the cost that was spent on the shop items. All those thing might survive longer for the same price.

@MariTheNon correction. He had 16 genis for 25k each. That's 400,000 spent in genis alone, plus at lest 50,000 extra on all the other stuff. So not far off from other paragons or basic true sun God. So I'll actually say jarardo is underpowered in terms of the price vs what you get.

I feel like most units only reaching the same round as their normal counterparts is a testament to how balanced this mod is. I honestly wish perma weaker abilities became a toggle-able feature in the base game with monkey knowledge.

I think the tests should start with a 020 village since now some heroes have to spend money on radar scanner while others can use that money to level up Edit: Seems really scuffed now especially with Etienne

The adora change doesnt seem balanced. Why would you never keep adora on max sacrifice?

Because the debt, it didn't matter in this because he never intended to drop other towers or farm to pay it off. But having to pay back essentially a 50k+ IMF loan would really hurt if your trying to save up for a T5 and slow down your farming until its payed off. ISAB wasn't farming or getting other towers though, so he never had to deal with the negative effects of the debt.
