Ummm, the singer's voice is not particularly dynamic, rather nasal and flat, and thin overall. Less power is being projected combined with a thin tone that to me sounds dull or washed out, as if the interesting dynamic vocal aspects were filtered away. Think of Stevie Nicks as an example of someone with strong vocal dynamics producing interesting harmonics and tonal quality that makes for absorbing listening. This is in the opposite category.
It is certainly very different to the original classic rock songs. Her voice is more suited for pop/melodious songs. However, I’d say for most of these covers she does a good job of trying to get a feel of the original whilst making it her own by including harmonies. I get what you mean though
