titans cant always use their cores for attacking as u can see UTTM only uses burst shot on his core not a full beam because remember his core is also his energy if he uses too much he will get tired and thats the weakest part of the titans or the weakness but UTTM's core can absorb unlike UTCM and UTSM their cores easily get damaged
