I don’t know why but for some reason he seems closer to goku then he is Beerus, the supreme Kai as well favorites goku. Also goku has a lot of relationships with a lot of deities in his universe. It makes you wonder how far back did toriyama plan this out, and all these encounters with other divine beings to recap his becoming of a god of destruction.
