I’m surprised that losing the tail didn’t power Goku back down to base. I guess the situation is more so a genetic mutation rather than a permanent state of transformation

This is one of those "If Goku was born with Friezas power" type topics, and I think Frieza would have recognized Goku as the same as himself, where they were both born in there ultimate forms, thus, I believe that Goku should have eventually learned how to "suppress" his powers by turning back into a normal Saiyan after witnessing his own species in their base forms. That and what he should have learned from Kami if he ever met him I honestly don't remember, I'm watching this in segments

Fun fact: ssj4 allows the user to adapt to their opponents entirely, technique, moves, fighting style, and abilities. Kinda like broly this was shown in the fight with syn shenron and eis shenron. Depending on which grade of ssj4 the form allows to user to have some form of awareness, which their instinct kicks in which their body tells them whether they need to dodge an attack. So technically speaking have a fraction of broly’s adaptability, and omen Ui in a sense. Gt Goku stated “it’s like my body is moving on it’s own”. And to put icing on the cakes 🎂 their senses are heightened dramatically making not even have to rely on sensing ki to find the location of their opponents. Once he unlocked grade 3 in ssj4 in the shadow dragon saga Facts: Actually the ssj4 form is 4million in terms of power/ multiplier. The concept of ssj and ozaruu mixing is an understatement. Ssj is actually used as an engine for the ozaruu which empowers the ozaruu to dramatical heights. It does this by amplifying the amount of wavelength with in the ozaruu. Also depends on which grade of ssj you have but theoretically speaking grade 4 is use for this example. In return ozaruu starts going berserk which do to the amount rage boosts its getting from ozaruu allows ssj to increase in power/ multiplier. In which the cycle continues on and on until the user usually regains consciousness and push the “engine to its limits”. If not the their power will constantly increase to unstable heights until they destroys themselves in process. Hence the ssj profecy told by Vegeta in the namek saga, we were shown that the person went ozaruu with ssj and destroyed himself and the planet. So to simplify it golden ozaruu starting point is 500x-5,000x depending on the grade of ssj The end point of golden ozaruu when the user regains consciousness and has push the engine to it limits, will have a multiplier of 400,000x Now I’ll have to tell the you about ssj4 grades 1-4 Grade 1 ssj4 (4,000,000x) their user is put into their prime meaning that they are at peak performance and physique. The zenkais are at a exponential rate, and literally has the raw strength of the ozaruu condense to humanoid form. Grade 2 full power ssj4 (8,000,000) they get red outline around their body showing that they are in full power mode and literally unlocks 50% of the remainder of the forms power. Grade 3 is ultra full power ssj4 (8,000,000x) the multiplier remains the same but the primal power is reverted back to their base form meaning just like god ki the 8,000,000x is now applied to their base. As mentioned in the fun fact is now applied to their base form and they have ikari now meaning they don’t need to turn into a giant monkey due to them unlocking grade 3 ssj4. Their sense are now heightened to a exponential degree. Meaning that they don’t have to sense ki to find their opponent they can just sense them from the other 5 senses instead to pinpoint where they are. He unlock this form by using the remainder ssjs to give him his energy to by pass the grade system just like how he did with the battle of great ape baby vegeta. Now it time for grade 4 which is theoretical but is probably gogeta ssj4 form with red hair. Which I called ascended ssj4 where their hair change to red just like their fur to (16,000,000x and continues to increase since it continuously breaks the users limits) understand that this form is capable of making a power aura that can defend the users from any attacks. As shown when fighting omega shenron. Their was literally no bounds when it came to that form for gogeta. Ssj4 is another base form

I love how Goku not being able to learn God Ki outright keeps the importance of the "base" Super Saiyan transformations, rather than have everyone forget about SSJ 3 and further in favor of god-stuff. It feels much more organic here - Vegeta and Raditz are behind Goku so taking the god-boost is an excellent choice, while Goku learns a path of his own. Him getting to SSJ5 is not cool just because SSJ5 (which is awesome in itself), but because only *he* will get that transformation, a true pinnacle.

I'm almost certain that the SSJ multiplier is pretty accurate. Grade two increases raw strength by 10X, that more likely just adds to the multiplier but it only affects raw strength. Masters SSJ would be as powerful as grade 2 but stamina would be no issue. If SSJ grade two were 500X then it would've obliterated cell the moment Vegeta made contact.

I always liked ssj4 since had whole sun wunkong vibe to it. I always had my own idea that he was born with ssj4 but it was more mutation ^^

I liked that Vegeta became more tactical in this series with learning all of the Yardrat techniques. Plus, Goku developed more as a character because of Vegeta, which was pretty cool. 👍 Also, oh boy, I never thought I would see SSJ5 in a series of yours, but then again, I said the same thing with Omni-SSJ White Form. 😆 Raditz is just best uncle for this series enough said, and happy that he has his own path of power like Goku & Vegeta does. 👍 I'm glad Gohan's path stayed the same roughly. A missed opportunity thought with Gohan possible getting SSJ4 transformation since his tail was never cut off, but it's fine, plus Beast Gohan with a Sliver Tail sounds pretty cool. 👍My favorite part was Grandpa Gohan, not dying because he got to be with Goku on his journey from Early Dragon Ball to him fighting with Goku, his new family (Gohan & Goten), and friends & students during the TOP. Finally, you definitely need to do more of these full remakes for your older series. Anyways overall another really good Full-Story, and looking forward to the next one soon. What if suggestion: What if Gohan got Futuresight? (He get it from a Kanassan that is a part of the Frieza Force while on Namek.)

I feel that they should make the super saiyan 4 concept actually cannon (call it something different of course.)the ultimate god form of a saiyan, goku white fur for UI and Vegeta gets purple fur as god of destruction. And create a are where goku becomes a Kai counter part to vegeta causing them to always work together if ever threatened.

Would be really cool to see this form make a return. Know it will never happen, but a guy can dream.

Radiz probably planned to use the pod that was used to send Goku to earth. Wouldn't the Saiyans assume that kakarot was a super Saiyan when he was born in that form. Especially Prince Vegeta.

This was really fun to watch. I unfortunately have not finished Dragon Ball Super or have watched the Super Hero Movie. Funimation had some glitch and I only got to the beginning of the second tournament. And I just never got back to watching the rest. But this was fun none the less without the context of what actually happened. I am one of those weirdos though that actually enjoyed the story of Dragon Ball GT. And the transformation into Super Saiyan 4 still is my favorite.

Re: Raditz's pod: Presumably, Raditz's idea was to find Goku's pod and use that to get Goku back to the other saiyans.

I'd hate to see how much ssj4 kid gohan's appetite would be, especially with a power level. Goku's power level was a 2 when he was born, now combine x40'000 in top of THAT, which is basically 80'000. ssj4 kid Goku pretty much solos all of the db/and some of Z till the Freiza Saga... that's if he didn't train.

Just looking at the title and thumnail, first thing that comes to mind is Slick goku.

I think the super saiyan grade transformations refer to an addition multiplier so for example at 2:55, ssj1 is a 50x multiplier and then grades 2 and 3 add onto that, when you say that grade 3 is a 10x multiplier I personally think that it’s an addition to the ssj1 form meaning 60x base but it’s sacrifices speed so grade 4 is just the normal 50x with mastered stamina control because if it were the case to be a 10x multiplier to the ssj1 form then I don’t really see the point in the ssj2 and ssj3 forms and maybe even the ssj4 form when perhaps the grades could be mastered how the grade 4 ssj1 form was. (I’ve replied continuing my explanation)

18:00 not a plot hole, Raditz probably expected Goku to use the pod he came to earth on, it is visually identical to the pod Raditz comes on, and would likely be good enough to hold adult Goku given how much extra space we see kid Goku having when he is sent off.

grade 4 ssj is a 50x multiplier, the reason its so strong is because the method of training and the extreme difficulty in training while in ssj, that is the widely accepted point
