I've got a good what if. What if Hermione didn't have a time turner in Prisoner of Azkaban?

My head hurts from all new possibilities. I think I’ll have to head over to ao3 and search some dark!Harry content.

How would they escape the cellar of Malfoy Manor without Aberforth/Dobby? Cause they can't apperate out. Also how would they sneak upstairs again if Peter wasn't in Harry's debt?

But the thing that I don't get is how would Lucius get in the castle. With voldemort back I would assume that protective spells are put around the castle, but Draco being in the school let him use the vanishing cabinet. Lucius would not get that chance. I still love your what ifs. I want to request one what if which is : What if Percy became a spy on the ministry?

What would be Sirius’ motivation for escaping Azkaban since he wouldn’t know that scabbers was with Harry? Also, you mentioned in another video about the Basilisk still being a factor if they don’t open the chamber of Secrets - how do you think that would Impact the final battle?

I don't know. From Book 2 onward Harry isn't the main character anymore, it's Dumbledore. The timeline just shifted several books ahead thanks to the Philosopher's Stone, which means Dumbledore is only now starting to research horcruxes, if he's even doing that at all (as the Riddle Diary was the spark that get him going in the first place). And even if he does start getting a move on with that, it took Dumbledore years to get to the point he was at in book 6, which even then he was still murky on. So yeah, I don't see Horcruxs being part of the major plan yet, and I don't see him allowing himself to die when there is literally no one else as powerful as he is. I do think that perhaps the battle in the ministry would still happened between Dumbledore and Voldemort for the prophecy, and Dumbledore would actually defeat him here... but on seeing his spirit escape would THEN trigger his theory on horcruxes. Since this is still Book 2, Death Eaters haven't polluted the Ministry as bad as they had before, and given a good number of them see the fight and saw Voldemorts essence escape again, now the wizardry world would be more cooperative with Dumbledore and a new Order of the Phoenix. Voldemort could be weak again for 10 years or more before he might try another shot at returning, or else Aurors actually do their job for once and hunt him down with Dumbledore's aid. Since he's weak, he could either be imprisoned in that form forever (since his horcruxes basically are keeping him alive) or else they discover a way to destroy whatever kind of essence he is. Whatever the case, the horcruxes are basically useless, unless Death Eaters try to revive a phantom of Volde like with Tom Riddle's diary, and given no one knows about the horcruxes to begin with, that's slim. Basically the books would be about Harry doing quidditch and failing lessons, as all that stuff is happening in the background out of his knowledge or control. The books would be interesting because the side-quests of school life and the wizardry world was still interesting, but they wouldn't be exciting because the big adventure aspect is now gone. The story would have to shift into making school and the world more exciting which still could work. But yeah, that's what I think... Pretty sure no one cares. lol

Voldemort already knew Peter Pettigrew as Wormtail since the day of Pettigrew's betrayal; This was arbitrarily explained in "The Prisoner of Azkaban".

There's an implication with the what if theory arising in Harry's third year; He barely manages to scrape by that year with Anti-Dementor lessons; Not even the most brilliant wizard such as Albus Dumbledore would be able to cram 7+ years of schooling and experience into Harry Potter inside of one single year.

Voldemort was never planning to share power with anyone; he was counting on Harry to drop his guard and succumb to his selfish desires in a bid to make the final blow on Harry's life.

The only way I can see something like this happening is if harry forgave voldemort by the way this scenario would happen in harry first year at hogwarts when he is meeting with voldemort for the second time in his life in harry potter and the sorcerer stone harry would think it over for about 10 minutes in his head without voldemort trying to read his mind in order to influence harry opinions due to their unknown to voldemort to harry because voldemort in this movie does know that harry is a horcrux but voldemort was aware of the love protection harry mother put on harry just before she trying to protect him harry would then say to okay I forgive you for killing my parents let's be friends of harry would later say but this is going to be a 30 day trial period type of deal and if you try to kill me I will take you down voldemort would of course agree to that condition and they would be heading to a welcome to the deatheaters welcome party and of course harry would meet peter at that same party and bellatrix would also be there at instead of letting her beautiful good looks rot away in Azkaban Wizarding prison like she did in the cannon story she would then be order by lord voldemort to show harry where he will be living with us and she being obedient to him would do as she told take harry to their shared bedroom because she had fell in love with harry so after they entered the bedroom she locked the door behind her jumps harry making out with him time skip nine months and both harry and bellatrix has their first born son James potter Jr and their first born daughter lily potter the reson why I'm using harry last name and not bellatrix last name simple because after they made love a few days later during the time skip period they got married bellatrix took harry last name and nine months later they had their children of course peter was best man at the wedding then after harry godfather sirus was put behind bars and but before he was harry asked if he could send a letter to harry naming him the head of the black family before he was put behind bars including the keys to the black family house

The What-If theory is great but it also comes with a lot of implications and the problem with the timing between each scenario. But still give this two 👍👍.

I would love to see a video of what If the mirror of erised changed Harry for the worst. Harry’s desire is his parents so what if that desire turned into hate and resentment over not knowing his parents.

It all comes down to did Voldemort use Harry's blood with the stone to come back.

given that voldemort knows about the prophecy and that Harry agreed to join him, the best to do is to have Harry listen to the whole prophecy. Harry and Tom would then understand that, so long as neither kills the other, they can't be defeated. knowing that, neither would try to kill the other. in fact, To would protect Harry at all costs. it's even possible that Voldemort told Harry how to do a horcrux just in case. I disagree on the relationship between Harry and Snivelus given on the video. they wouldn't be closer. quite the oposite in fact. Snivelus was never given the chance to resurrect Lily and harry was given it. the boy always gets what he wants. even the dark lord favores that ungrateful child. it's even possible that Snivelus decides it's not worth to serve Dumb the dork and protect harry when the boy wanted to join forces with the dark lord.
