Back in the arcade era I mained Remy and my only goal was to make all the local good players feel bad even if they won most of the time. Turns out that Ultra Lame Remy really does just work.

Remy is so much fun to play, especially when you mess with opponents who never bothered to learn the matchups. Thanks for making this video!

Always cracked me up that Capcom made a Guile-like character who looks and acts as differently from him as possible. Guile: roided out Remy: skinny jeans Guile: enough hair spray to make hair bulletproof Remy: all conditioner, 1000 brushes before bedtime Guile: solid in most games Remy: *cries over his sister's ice coffin

That Sanford Kelly clip at the beginning was hilarious. It's nice to see you play low tier characters. You get to show off your fundamentals and personal skills.

I wanna see Remy come back in some way, I always thought his design was unique, and I never would've thought I'd see Justin play him AT ALL. Nice surprise, lol.

As a OG Remy main from yesteryear it was a pleasure to see you play him. There is def some tech like charge patitioning and going for some of his anti air setups like Cr. HP but honestly you played Remy pretty much as well as he can be played by 3rd S standards!

I started off playing Yun as a kid on the Xbox SF collection cause he always looked so cool to me but Makoto, Sean, and Remy became my favorites later in life. I’d love to see Remy back with a revamped tool kit that has more Savate influence. BUT KEEP COLD BLUE KICK CAUSE THAT NAME IS HYPE

7:04 So... I've thought about this quite a bit recently, and think it would make for an interesting series of videos. A deeper dive into characters and what makes them broken, or just broke, would be amazing. Someone with Justin's experience and skill across hundreds of games could go over what he would do to balance a game's characters out, and make everyone viable and enjoyable to play. What Would Justin Do? One example I'd give is with life recovery in MVC2. It could be used to boost (and nerf) some characters without affecting their tools at all. Wolverine should quickly recover all red health (Bonerine even more so), which would be consistent with the comic books. Sentinel is a robot and should recover slowl--if at all. Maybe hard knockdowns or extra damage for characters hit out of flight mode? Damage boosts for certain characters? The possibilities are endless, but Justin could give it a legitimacy I know I would tune in to see.

Justin, have u tried the "3rd Strike: Definitive Edition" sprites mod? Max did and he got crazy (just wait until he gives 4rd Strike a shot, haha). Seriously tho, the mod is awesome, it makes the game look like remaster. It's really cool and it's worth a try.

In this game. When your skills are far beyond your opponent's. And you can defeat them with any character. You can troll them hard. By parrying any part of a multi special/super and activate Remy's sa3 so the opponent will trigger sa3 I:e . Yun ex shoulder: parry first hit, activate remy sa3. Yun's second hit will trigger Remy's blue nocturne. Red parry situation: red parry Dudley's ex short swing blow ,any hit you find comfortable, and activate sa3 whenever Or red parry chun Li's or Ken's missed sa3 and counter with blue nocturne. Blue nocturne is probably up there in terms of troll supers in 3rd strike.
