It's straight PEAK 🗣️ Yuta's whole storyline has been leading up to this moment tbh. Hands down my favorite character right now.

When the leaks first came out my first thought was "leakers are trolling with some fan made pages", when I realized it was the real deal I couldn't believe it, I was totally disappointed. But now a few days have passed and honestly this twist is kinda awesome, this chapter grew on me definitely.

Yuta can't copy the six eyes with his technique but he doesn't have to. He's in Gojo's body my boy. He has access to the six eyes

Remember when Gojo was sealed by Kenjaku and he said to Geeto's body: "Come on, I know you're in there Geto. And Mahito also said that the body is the soul and the soul is the body. What if Juta meets Gojo's soul as a result? What happens then?

Hey fakeweeb, I just realized that kenjaku's body hop doesn't require continuous activation Cuz if it required continuous activation then kenjaku would've been dead after facing CT burnout against yuki. And there is also the rule that noone can simultaneously use 2 CTs.

I think the reason why Yuuji will be the one to prove Sukuna's beliefs wrong, will end up being Todo. Between Sukuna believing one must sacrifice everything for strength, there's Todo, a guy who just lives his genuine self to the maximum and just faces everything like "It is what it is"

This is exactly the main reason why Yuta has always been my favorite character, this chapter capitalizes her character perfectly, his love for his friends and even the world is unmatched and it shows, him being the first MC has always been showing, also imo he has the best written back story in jjk too, rather he dies or not he will always be my favorite character

Theres just something about this that i dont care for. One, cause Yuta basically fell to Sukunas ideals and will ultimately get shit stomped cauae of it so good job Yuta, you caved. But theres a reason im estatic when Yuji fights Sukuna, we have seen and been through alot with these two together. With Yuta, in comparison we have barely seen shit outside of jjk 0 which that in itself was a whole lot either, but hes barely interacted with ANY character in the main series. So his conviction which came in the form of a fucking flashback, feels hollow to me. Its a clever move, but thats it as far as interest for this development for me goes. "Omg sukuna praises Yuta" who cares, Maki excited him and she got black flashed out the manga. Now Yuji pissing him off? The sign of his ideology and state of being pissing off Sukuna.....THAT is impressive. Takes more than a flashback to be like "omg his character has so much depth, peak writing 10/10" like come on now.

Fun fact, if you have the hardcopy of JJK volume 16, that’s the chapter where they introduced YUTA . And at the end of the hardcopy volume, you will see a picture of Sukuna and gojo. Very eerie.

Really well done I think your narrative approach cements the relationship between Yuta and Gojo, there are many many details you covered well that give basis to their relationship and development and the decision for Yuta to be a monster. In my opinion, in many ways, I think even if Yuta wins here I would not be disappointed - I always viewed Yuta as the strongest (behind gojo) and we got a whole prequel about him.

Since the name of Kenjaku’s technique is never revealed. It would be fun that in the end the technique actually is Kenjaku, and when using it it allows Him (kenjaku) to take the body of someone else. Meaning that at the end of the 5min kenjaku will resurface, in gojo’s body. 😂😂😂😂 this would be mental

I think it would be cool to see Yuta struggle and not perform as well as Gojo did showing that Gojo truly was the strongest because he was himself

Theory: what if the six eyes allow rika to be manifested indefinitely thus allowing yuta to remain alive in his body.

Genuily thought you were going to bring up Gege's unanswered question about the soul. Geto choked Kenjaku in Shibuya, think Gojo might make some form of appearance in all of this. Another clue is that scene were Gojo is telling Yuta to improve on his cursed energy control. I am not really sure, have not thought this one through, but there is something ridiculously off about this unanswered question, especially when we already saw Mahito and Kenny speak about how their techniques might interpret the soul differently. But we will see. WHAT IS THE BODY AND WHAT IS THE SOUL?

Hi weeb! amazing review,, i like the editing when the moment of analisys come the music just stops. As of the video, i agree with all the points you make and also wanted to add about the yuta situation. I can think of two posibilities here: the first one being the single activation (wich i think would be the case) can make yuta go beyond the past 5 minutes without fearing his body could perish. They just have to repeat the process made with gojo and that would do it. The other one is playing by the limit of 5 minutes. If this is the case, then by any means the domain battle should be the W taken by unlimited void. Sukuna can only mantain his domain for 99seconds, wich should be more than enogh for yuta to win the battle (or stopped tuji and todo being killed by that DE) and return to his body before the limit ends. This time i can´t see sukuna getting out of the situation, i feel like we already see all of what he could show us when he used the flames. I like that gege is just using all the cards in the deck for this battle, the most important in the series, and if this cointinue i would be ok with it because that´s how a final villain should be. Cheers!

My only real grievance with this is Sukuna’s ability to still pop open a Domain Expansion. I know that his cursed energy reserves are now down to roughly where Yuta’s are now, and as long as he continues to use RCT to recover his cursed technique he can continue to open his domain. I’m just a bit upset with how after everything he’s only roughly down to less than half of his cursed energy. Since Yuta stated that Sukuna has at least double the amount of base cursed energy than Yuta has or more without Rika if I recall correctly. Which kinda feels pointless to have all these different fleshed out characters die off for practically nothing. But I’m aware that the main characters can’t always win, and they can’t have a win without it having it hard fought. And the symbolic messaging with how Geto and Gojo’s body were used is a good contrast, and it’s great symbolism. After seeing all the leaks at first I was pretty disappointed that this is the turn Gege made. But yet again I do like the fact Gege’s not taking the stereotypical route that a lot of basic Shonen take like “The Power of teamwork/friendship” or an ass pull for the hero’s. If not anything Sukuna’s been getting the better circumstances for victory. But I also feel like I need to thank Gege with how he wrote this battle currently. It feels desperate, even after Todo showed up. Especially with the fact that no-one else really can show up to support. The main cast is doing anything they can to win. And the idea of Yuta taking over Gojo’s body is already been hinted at even before it happened. It’s been growing on me. And yet I still can’t get past (in my opinion) a glaring problem with how the fights been done and been playing out. I only hope that Sukuna can finally get his reckoning after all this time. Especially since Yuta knows all of Gojo’s abilities, thanks to how Kenjacku’s cursed technique works. And Yuta’s background knowledge.

The only complaint I have for this fight with Sukuna is why 8 black flashes had little effect. Are black flashes even powerful? and why jacob ladder didn't work. Why is Sukuna such a tank. This is like the freaking 78th health bar.

I do actually think the best route for JJK is the villain to win, or sukuna learning the meaning of love and (as you mentioned in the spoiler coverage) the meaning of collective strength. Or him not learning from his heien era mistakes (which may or may not be his understanding of true strength).

I personally don't believe 261 was a masterpiece, and no, it's not because I believed Gojo would come back or that I wanted him to come back. Yuta taking over Gojo's body felt bizarre and gave the same feeling as when Kanjaku died in the most anticlimactic way. Gege tends to use cliffhangers too much and ends things suddenly, without allowing the audience to take in the feeling. This has hurt some people who believed in Gojo's return. I didn't think Gojo would come back, but I believe people have the right to be angry if the writer uses misguided cliffhangers. We have to see what he decides to do in the next chapters, but for now, I can't say if I like his choices or not. Besides, It's unfortunate they still rely on Gojo even after his death as if he's just a tool. If the focus is on this issue and he doesn't use Gojo or Yuta as a plot device, I'm okay with 261. I was waiting for your video, I hope you're right that this a masterpiece. I guess time will tell...

Yeah I believe it's a single activate type as well. We saw Kenjaku use Domain Expansion against Yuki, and afterward he had technique burnout for a bit yet that didn't cancel his innate technique.

I really appreciated how this chapter emphasized the connection between Yuta and Maki. She's the one that taught him how to use a sword and was one of his first jujutsu high friends so it makes sense after losing her sister she would want to protect her little brother figure.

Too be honest i too was a bit disappointed to see this plot twist but now as I have been able to process everything, I would say it was a masterpiece. People were disappointed because they expected happy moments from a manga whose overall tone and setting is a bit depressing. I saw someone say on Twitter that people that wanted Gojo back also really just saw him as the strongest or their favourite character and not as Gojo, tieing back to the fact that we were able to see and cherish him but not able to understand him. He was satisfied with his fight, he also trusted his students to carry on his legacy and ideals. Too be honest i feel gojo in 236 was one of the happiest he has been in recent chapters.

Never liked Yuta's character. - He has no personality, typical shy and good boy as every anime has one of them - Born powerful even under better conditions than Gojo - Didnt have to do shit to a be a Special Grade. - Got taught by best Jujutsu Socerers - Gets hyped throughout as prodigy but gets killed by Sukuna easily. - Takaba had to die for him to get a shot at Kenjaku - Gets Handedover Gojo's body and Kenjaku's body to even stand a chance against Sukuna. All his life he has been blessed with everything. He got handed out everything, didnt hv to train or fight for anything. No spice to his story, Pretty boring.

It just makes no sense that somehow Yuta understands Gojo but he doenst share plans with Gojo, supposedly the month skip was for planning yet no one told Gojo about the open barrier? Reading all of JJK up to this point they just throw away Gojo and Yutas entire characters because of the “strongest sorcerer” Sukuna was once a character to look forward to and now he’s just a burden on Gege as he’s killing all the characters he built up and also the fact that everyone will cry if ifs not yuji who kills him as if yuji cares at all about being the strongest

Sukuna domain expansion did not feel like a big enough threat to how Yuji was cooking so it felt off with the timing of Gota appearance.. I think it was poorly done and think we all thought Yuta was fine

Out of character for Yuta Sukuna just has the ability to knock yuji away all of the sudden The problem with Gojo coming back was that it would take away from his students Gojo wanted his students to surpass him, yuta just cheated a became him (undeserved) Yuta’s use of curse energy was sloppy according to Gojo so how will he even be able to compete with Sukuna on the same level that Gojo did They introduced todo for no reason Gojo’s character arc is not properly wrapped up, he wanted to stand along side his students Yuji got sidelined again Sukuna is still able to somehow perform domain expansion even though yuji has been railing at the line between his and megumi’s soul (which should disrupt his output and efficiency) Idk what happened in Africa but when did yuta become cold hearted enough to just desecrate the dead bodies of his friends. Yall remember how he freaked out at Rica for how she was handling Maki’s unconscious body? This will be the last jjk video I watch. They fucked yo my favorite character megumi, absolutely defiled Gojo, and side lined Yuji. This manga is just not enjoyable to watch. Sure it’s different and dark, but it’s killed everything I was invested in honestly.😕🤷🏽‍♂️ I don’t care if gojo actually comes back or megumi, or if yuji gets his dub. Any way that their return or dub is written in the story will feel forced at this point. Just let it end. Hopefully Kagurabachi doesn’t let me down. But for now, back to Hunter X Hunter and One Piece it is.

Honestly as a gojo fan I’m not even mad he’s not back, I’m just dissapointed in the fact that yutas entire character could end in Gojos body, I don’t think he’ll die but if he does thats a waste of a character especially if he took the body for nothing And as for Sukuna I’m disappointed it’s possible he’s gonna win against a healthy Gojo/Yuta which unless Sukuna used some asspull is just impossible for Sukuna to win
