Harbaugh would’ve screamed at Russ probably by game 5, instead of the Detroit game. Russ would still be gone, because he sucks and the Broncos would’ve still won around eight games.

How do you know it was him? He might have been the one that said no - or put up requirements that the Penner group wouldn't agree to.

There going by what a lot of rumors going around where. Penners first choice was Harbaugh. They even met with him one last time, in Michigan, before they chose Payton. According to Benjamin Albright Demeco Ryan's was there 2nd choice.

@@CarlosGarcia-zt3mr there was strong interest. He could've been Penners preferred choice. He may have said no... Or something may have come of those meetings that dissuaded the Penners to say no.
