Honestly, she does really well in most of her leading roles. Kumoko/ Shiraori from the spider isekai was carried by her voice-acting and monologing. She also did really well as Tanya from Youjo senki and Madoka from Madoka Magica.

This lipstick became so insanely popular you basically couldn't buy it and lines for even the opportunity to get one at department stores were basically out of control

Frankly, I don't think the animation studio shows well the changes through makeup. Maomao should look like an ugly girl, but without it she looks just the same, only red eye shadow significantly changes her appearance. Her freckles, moreover, are very often practically invisible. In this case, Jinshi is also not very different when she is wearing makeup or not. I guess the budget is not big enough

Depends on the episode, in the arc where she taking care of lady rifa (linhua), she looked really tired and ugly near the end. But considering she partially gets her looks from her mother, she is quite the looker if she puts the effort in.

You know, the simple yet cute design and voice actor of the green colored girl is like, REALLY making me want to watch this anime. She seems different from a lot of what I see, somewhat masculine and stoic? That combined with her short stature, and the fact that she's apparently a servant are making me really interested in her as a character. Also the voice acting from her at 0:56 sounds really nice, its just not a voice I'm used to in anime, sounds like she's an actual human being, and it overall just sounds good. I'm no longer a fan of My Hero Academia, but I always liked Jiro, and this girl kind of gives me those vibes, someone who's chill, but still has their mischievous moments.
