Good video! I'm excited to see how this series unfolds. I was just thinking about a scenario in which Bulma never went on her adventure for the dragon balls, leaving Goku alone in the wilderness... Do you think it could possibly warrant a one-off?
Realistically Zama-ku shouldn’t be able to appear until well into Super. Just because he’s gained Zamasu’s powers doesn’t mean even know he has them and even if he did he wouldn’t know how to use them. All he’s left with is Gowasu’s corpse and a potentially a library he can’t read because he may know english/japanese doesn’t mean he can read kai language. So Zama-ku has to learn everything about himself and his surroundings by himself which will take a long time. There’s the time ring but he doesn’t know what that is. I also hope that Masako doesn’t just grand priest things again. It was fine for retconning the Bulma married Goku timeline but the GP should not have appeared for Krillin as a sayian.
This made me realize. Is the story gonna get that far? I could see Masako just ending it before Z. Not only because the story probably works better through the lens of Goku's childhood, but the more obvious reason. "What happens if Zamasu dies in Goku's body?" Like either he ceases to exist because Kaioshin, or is granted some kind of an existence in the afterlife because of his actions, good or bad. Either way the latter would lead to King Yemma and the gods trying to figure out what the deal is, and realize he's a god that's not from their universe or timeline. Whis wouldn't be happy there. He literally cannot be destroyed in this What-If or that's the end of the story.
I kind of love the idea that it is Kid Goku in Zamasu’s body and everyone just thinks he has amnesia. Then by the time they meet Goku in Zamasu body is way stronger than Zamasu in Goku’s body.
Having Zamasu see the other side of the spectrum of his extremist desire is interesting. He literally forced himself to see what it's actually like to live as a mortal, even if it's by seeing through Goku's eyes.
A more pragmatic Goku just works so well with Bulma. Even if Zamasu is in control. It kinda reminds of the What if Vegeta and Goku swapped places story. And how Bulma and Vegeta interacted
I am really looking forward to watching Zamaku's journey. This story really does feel like a Journey to the West where he's meant to reach enlightenment and grow in love and care for mortals.
Honestly, I’d also like to see a back issue story to this WI, just a tag at the end of each video showing the shenanigans Kid Goku gets up to in Zamasu’s body.
Question is when Trunks shows up how much different can Zamosu be here. Will hearing his side of the story explaining why he went back in time in the first place give him a different perspective on things. Perhaps he could see the future androids as a reflection of what his plan was or see them as barbaric as they were in trunks future. His perspective in that saga will be vital for this tale
I'm relieved that you're finally up and posting again; especially in quick succession. Hope you're still paying attention to your family in all this recording!
Yeah it's funny seen people think Earth/U7 is backwards when comes to technology, but seen what Bulma can do with there technology shows they are not really backwards. 👍 Uh oh Zamaku cares about Grandpa Gohan soon he will start caring about all his allies and friends around him and he will be the one corrupted. 😆 A girl and dog huh so Mai & Su are trailing them now? 🤔 Anyways another really good part, and looking forward to the next part soon.
Small changes to the original story thanks to zamasus's personality make this story so intetesting! I can't wait for the next part! I can't wait to see other changes like Will goku still be able to use the nimbus? Or will the ultra divine water be more effective?
I remember what vegeta said to goku black that since goku's body was second hand he didn't get how to use and and it was unearned and that he can't think like goku seems in this what if he actually may
Maybe if the series is meant to be self-contained, Bulma ultimately wishes for her companion (secretly Zamasu) to have a happy ending, which results in him appearing back in his body in the present now having newfound respect for Son Goku as opposed to anymore animosity. Zamasu then requests a sparring match against the Saiyan from Universe 7 to see if he's still good, but this time it's much friendlier and won't result in another Goku Black.
Oh no. *Oh no!* XD Part x, sometime in the future... "Flying Nimbus!" *jump* *falls right through* "I don't understand, pure souls are allowed to ride it...!"
Kinda curious about how Son Zamasu will react to the Crane School. Fascination, outrage, wanting to change stripes and join them? Something else in the wide array of options? I dunno, but I'm very curious.
OK, I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure the first time Shu and Mai crossed paths with the heroes was when they got close to Pilaf's castle, or am I forgetting something?
Just a thought, Will Zama-ku be able to use the Nimbus? I mean he stained his heart by cutting down gowasu so i wonder how this will affect the story :O
