Spamming the Down Special like that would be dangerous, since it only works it he actually catches a projectile. It works like a counter, so if it misses, then he's vulnerable.

Ooo! Ooo! I have an idea for a fighter you can do! How about Zeke from the game Zombies Ate My Neighbors? And his female counterpart, Julia, is an alternate costume since that's all she is in the game too. They'll each get 3 alternate colours. One being their zombiefied selves and then other costumes referencing a couple of other Z.A.M.N enemies each. All the attacks will make use of various weapons from Z.A.M.N. Some examples; The regular A attack will have them squirt their water gun. It'll be a weak projectile that does like 2% damage and no flinch or launch power. The down attack will have them use that light cross that spins around them. The dash attack will have you charge forward with the weed whacker. The forward smash will be the bazooka. For the final smash, they'll pull out the pink potion, transforming them into the purple hulk, which just goes around punching everybody, delivering massive damage and launch power. I would love to see this video be made.
I absolutely love that you made King Boo a heavy because in Mario Kart 8 our favorite royal specter is tied for the absolute lightest character in the game, but doesn’t have his normal crown, implying that all that weight came from his proper crown.
20:39 The portrait victory animation could be like the actual game over screen in three. Shows the character you were just playing as trapped in the painting,then king Boo appears in with an ominously laugh then just sits there in darkness giving little chuckles and cackling as the portrait that your character is trapped in floats around,Only thing being visible of the King is the glow of his eyes and crown. I would like to add too that your character would not be there to clap for King Boo.However if it is a team battle or FFA,I would make multiple portraits appear and you team mate would be there posing just a little in the back,or hell put them in a portrait too but like the portrait from Luigi’s mansion one ta where it’s like a mirror in a way.
King Boo has a lot of cool ideas as a move set. I think his descent in general would be floaty as you suggested - kind of like peach's parasol, which makes up for his lack of movement in all but his up special. Someone also mentioned a 'scare mechanic', which I think is brilliant. I wouldn't say that the opponent's moves have decreased damage, but perhaps have a delay in their move input for a set period of time since they need 'confidence' to follow through with their move after being startled like that. Or instead perhaps some of King Boo's moves that don't connect with the opponent but are still performed stun the opponent, freezing them in place meaning the King can still get up closer and try again within that stun window - I think some of his taunts should also be capable of this since Luigi has that awesome kick taunt and I think KB should also get one that can be of benefit on the battlefield (and that's a nice little link between them for their franchise). King Boo is so unique in the fact that he is well aware of that fourth wall and being unpredictable, scaring and tricking folks are his bread and butter - so his moves should show off those skills and make it a nightmare to predict his next move as you never know what he has up his sleeve. So much potential for this character.

WillOfTheWinds I mean technically everyone in OCTOPATH TRAVELER can have the same abilities due to the secondary job system, so why not have all of them as one character? If we're going with one, I'd like to have Alfyn. His moveset could be very interesting with his Concoct ability.
@@SIRRapBattles personally, I'd pick Tressa and have her hired help Summon the other party members, plus Spears. Have hired help be a wheel like Shulk's monado arts, with each Traveller doing something unique to them: Ophilia heals you and your allies, Cyrus uses magic to deal damage of one of the main three elements, Olberic preforming a Level Slash for a pseudo-down-smash type move, Primrose inflicting a random status effect with Bewildering Dance, Alfyn using concoct to yeet a potion grenade, Therion doing a quick slash then snatching an item from the enemy, and Ha'anit using Linde to strike with a heavy-knockback attack. The reason for Tressa specifically (other then her being my personal favorite) is how she seems to be the unofficial face of OCTOPATH when only one Traveller is shown it is usually her, the moveset could be rather interesting overall, and the fact that it also uses *all* of the travellers for this and I feel you need all of them represented to feel right. Of course, any of them theoretically can function in this, but only Tressa, Ophilia, and Primrose actually has a "Call Ally" ability in game naturally and this just seems the easiest way to do this. Alfyn can work but he doesn't really have any way to involve his other 6 friends and Therion (it's a joke, btw) in his movepool without job change, which I feel is a copout to use. Plus, the job changes could be represented by costumes: each of Tressa's 8 costumes corresponds to one of the other party member's classes in her job change, and her allies would also job change with her in the OCTOPATH order. So if she takes her Warrior class outfit, Olberic would have his Dancer outfit, Primrose would have her Apothecary outfit, Alfyn would have his Thief outfit, Therion would dress as a Hunter, Ha'anit would be a Cleric, Ophilia would be a Scholar, and Cyrus would be a Merchant
WillOfTheWinds You've made a very good point. I haven't played OCTOPATH TRAVELER in a while but 90 hours is more than enough for me to know the ins and outs of the game. I chose Alfyn as he's the one I started off with, but Tressa's personality and Hired Help ability could be the key to representing the other travellers. I swear Sidestep is pretty much just a dodge roll, and I can definitely imagine a Final Smash either being her Divine Skill or an all-out attack with the other members of her party. How do you think the BP system will be implemented?

I had 2 final smash ideas 1. To start it up a circle of boos will appear in front of him and will close in. Anybody inside of the circle will be stunned then carried up into a cutscene where the enemy is in a haunted forest. He sees something that looks like king boo but doesn’t know what it is, then they’re light source runs out of battery and king boo scaring the living heck out of the opponent with it turning of with a final message: Good Night. 2. This final smash can catch up to 4 people. For this one. He slams a portrait on the ground and if anybody is below the portrait. It does a cutscene where it shows the opponents terrified faces and king boo appearing doing one final sinister laugh. This took me a while to come up with so I hope you like my ideas
About my Porky Minch comment, here are some ideas for a moveset with and without a spider mech ( know you do it all on your own but I have some ideas to help you get started if you want to try it) For out of mech: His neutral A could be a 3 hit jab. He swings his fists twice and then a kick. His dash attack could be where he pulls out that Zapping Stick used in Mother 3 to activate the Claymen. His neutral B he could shoot a laser from a Gun. His down B could be a reflecting move for him, it would use the "PSI Counter" animation from the game and would cover his body, when someone hits him he still takes damage from the attack but receives no knock-back and the player who attacked him takes half of the attacks damage. That is the most I have for out of mech. For in mech: His neutral A are just three slices from the mech. Dash attack is a lunge forwards. B shoots a Laser that can be held to increase damage. Down B could be like Bowsers, Porky Jumps in the air and slams down to do lots of damage. They both could have a cinematic final smash where the Kings Statue stomps on the every player close to Porky when he activates it. I dont want it to seem like I am being pushy or rude, trying to force you to do this character, I just want to try and help you if you try to do it. I hope you understand and if you end up doing him I hope you have fun with it :)
That Portrait Victory screen would be fun if the Portraits took over the "clapping boxes" that everyone else is in, freezing them in place and giving them a sepia overtone.
I have a moveset for Prof. E. Gadd: Gimmick: Swap Taunt (This allows the player to swap the models of E. Gadd's F.L.U.D.D. and Poltergust, Model SB, every time he taunts) Neutral B: Blow/Spray (The Poltergust SB allows E. Gadd to push back any projectiles and foes, but not for too long, like Bowser's Neutral B. The F.L.U.D.D. SB will function like Mario's Down B and Squirtle's Neutral B and push opponents away) Side B: Poltergust Dash/Soaking Sprint (The Poltergust SB allows E. Gadd to ride into battle like Luigi's Side B, but with more range and less wall cling. The F.L.U.D.D. SB will boost E. Gadd right through the contest, but it's for traversal, not damage, as it can be able to send him forward in a short air dash) Up B: Blimp Berry/Rocket Burst (The Poltergust SB inflates a balloon and levitates him into the air slowly like Villager's and Issabelle's Up B. The F.L.U.D.D. SB will rocket E. Gadd into the air in no time, as it will damage opponents) Down B: Strobulb/Wave Boost (The Poltergust SB will stun opponents IN FRONT of E. Gadd, not behind, but in front. The F.L.U.D.D. SB will allow E. Gadd to push opponents away as a means of now making a "Get-off-me" move, kinda like a counter) FINAL SMASH: Power Paint (E. Gadd creates a new paint brush and uses it to cause disaster on the map, kinda like the Koopalings' final smash)

Due to his very large size, I'd more see King Boo as a potential boss fight in the Smash series. But after seeing this, I definitely think he'd do just as well as a player. Imagine what a team he and Bowser would make in the roster.

Before getting mad, Captain Diabetes it's technically a video game character since he only got a cameo of his name in the "Coon and Friends franchise plan" in one episode but he fisically debuted in South Park: The Fractured but Whole. The Video Game based on South Park superheroes. Also the episode of his cameo it's the prequel for the video game. PD: I just realized that the idea of Captain Diabetes being a Smash character sounds really stupid so... "What if Eevee was in Smash?"

I wouldn't have ever thought for King Boo to get added, but he makes a lot of sense to be in, since he's Luigi's Bowser. Wouldn't mind him getting in someday.
Hey BJ: Here's a good idea. Hire an animator for the intro cutscene cause if during a stream, a viewer regonzizes the cutscene for a character, it will ruin the suspense. It's a really good idea in my opinion
What if he had a attack where he could summon a Painting and slam it down to capture any person in the area doing massive damage? Maybe it could be a B attack.
Maybe instead,it could smack the enemy with a boo and the boo could grow and throw the enemy down, bouncing it a far distance and the boo will follow it, attacking the enemy every 5 seconds doing 2 damage by using his tongue to slap the enemy’s face.
I have three characters I'd like to see you give possible move sets: Saber (Fate/stay night) Reimu Hakurei (Touhou) Harry Potter (Harry Potter) For Saber, I'd appreciate it if you have the playable Saber from Fate/EXTRA be her Echo Fighter. As for Harry, there should be enough game content for you to pull it off, but I'm not entirely sure. Please let me know if there isn't.
What if he has a ‘scare’ mechanic. Acting similar to inkling’s ink. When king boo ‘scares’ an opponent with certain moves they will do less damage since they feel cowardly.
Here's an idea for a gimmick: King Boo can't be footstooled. If someone tries to, they'll just immediately go through him, and will be put in a helpless stste, like they're shocked that they couldn't jump on him

Edit: The Mario franchise has almost double the characters of FE with more than 3 times the spirits and half the stages in the game. Mario is more than represented.

@STONKS Yeah, but once again, we have enough Mario characters. This is coming from someone who has Geno as number 1 on his wishlist. They would be cool... but I think other series also need to be well represented
8:30 for his down throw it could be really cool if each character had it's own portrait for example, Pokèmon could have their Pokèmon card art Megaman could have his character portrait like you see on the boss select screen Mario, Luigi, Peach and Bowser would also have their own usual portraits. You can get really creative with it!

What if his final smash was just a bunch of blue shells from mariokart? Also side special could be the koopa car from Mario maker 2 or if you wanted you could have it copy squirtle’s side special
