Gotta point something out about that last one. King Cold would probably just track Vegeta down since he used one of frieza's space pod to escape namek, they'd 'make a deal' that if Vegeta tells Cold about who killed Frieza, Vegeta could live as one of the Kings servants. With a somewhat shaky agreement the two go to earth and then you have a fight with King Cold vs the Z-Warriors. But this time King Cold is aware of the Destructo Disk thanks to his talk with Vegeta so he know to kill Krillin right away. This causes Goku to transform into Super Saiyan and he attacks King Cold, BUT before the two can fight Vegeta hits King Cold in the back with his own Destructo Disk that he used when he cut off Gohan's Tail as a great ape.

i love this, krillin is my favourite character so it’s nice to see him getting some attention for once also, the kienzan breaking on cell’s neck was anime filler, so at the moment in canon it’s effectively foolproof as long as you time it right also, imagine if krillin took notes from the spirit bomb and gave it ki tracking

I'm wondering if Krillin would've had enough ki in reserve to dish out the Destructo Disks right after the Scatter Bullet in order to take out the Saiyans. Remember that he was a bit 'out of it' after taking down the DBZ equivalent of "Putty Patrollers." Then they were given a 3 hr break for Goku's arrival. During that time, I wager Krillin would've gotten enough stamina to launch the one disc he used on Nappa. All up to plot purposes I suppose haha Remember Krillin knew the multi-form so there were a lot of times when a Solar Flare and Destructo Disk combo could've been utilized! Also, my 'guess' is Krillin being able to use 4 discs instantly against 2nd Form Frieza was PROBABLY the whole 'power unlocked' ability raising his techniques to levels above what they used to be. That seems to be a trend in the series where a technique that is said to use A LOT of stamina eventually gets used with little to no side effects as the user gets stronger like the Mafuba for example. What if dragon ball characters didn't yell out thier attacks

Frieza can survive being cut into pieces, Carthu's Dojo. Or did you forget what pitiful state Frieza had been in when King Cold had found him? Not to mention the fact that Mecha Frieza was alive when he had been brought back to life, but in pieces in the Resurrection 'F' Saga?

Quick question, (from the last scenario) how was Majin Buu resurrected without the life energy from Gohan, if Goku never achieved super saiyan, Gohan would've never achieved super saiyan 2...so his life energy wouldn't have been strong enough to resurrect Buu...so who/what did?

Couple things here: 1. Without Frieza's DNA, Cell wouldn't be able to breathe in space, so Frieza detonating the planet would also kill Cell. 2. If Krillin and Goku trained themselves to use the Solar Flare + Kienzan combo, why would Krillin not use that against Dabura as well? The power gap is big, yeah, but Krillin has had 20 years to train in order to become stronger to protect the planet. We could also say that Gohan could use the memory of his father's death to eventually obtain SSJ and train with that. 3. There is a lot of wasted potential for Vegeta in this what if. There's another comic illustrating how King Cold would track him down because he used one of Frieza's pods, Vegeta points King Cold to Earth, Cold kills Krillin and makes Goku turn SSJ, and Vegeta backstabs Cold. You could also say that if that doesn't happen, Vegeta would eventually go back to Earth to have his rematch with Goku, in which case.. I have no idea what would happen there.

For the first scenario, you glossed over how Cell would be able to venture out into space. Because remember that in this version of the story Cell wouldn’t have Freeza’s DNA, because Freeza never bothered to go to Earth, so Cell wouldn’t be able to breathe in space.

Carthu's Dojo, what is with you and wanting to make tragic endings for characters that countless people have grown up with by intentionally leaving out certain details in order to make it look like the protagonists would have had no chances of survival against their respective enemies when in fact they do? Like for an example, King Kai would have noticed that Frieza and most of Frieza's known forces would have been slaughtering Namekians and King Kai would have contacted the Z-Fighters in order to have told them about the situation. Such as King Kai giving the Z-Fighters much more crucial information about Frieza and the rest of the Planet Trade Organization as a whole than Vegeta ever had been able to give. Another example would have been the Ginyu Force would have not been able to conquer Planet Yardrat from the inhabitants of Planet Yardrat that knew Instant Transmission and the other uses of Spirit Control would have been able overwhelm the Ginyu Force through far superior numbers and having far better techniques to use at their disposal. Like the people of Yardrat distracting the Ginyu Force with clones of themselves in order to keep the Ginyu Force busy or maybe even slowly wear down Frieza's Elite in order for the people of Yardrat to use Forced Spirit Fission and make the Ginyu Force weak enough to be defeated. The Androids would have been much weaker than their respective canon counterparts from Krillin killing Nappa and Vegeta in the Saiyan Saga before any of the two Saiyans would have been able to show their powers and abilities at all. Which means that Son Goku can take care of them with a combination of the Kaioken and the Spirit Bomb, since the Androids wouldn't have been able to learn of the techniques that Son Goku would have learned from King Kai from Son Goku never showing them in the Saiyan Saga from Krillin taking care of Nappa and Vegeta. Not to mention the fact that Imperfect Cell wouldn't have the ability to use Super Saiyan and also wouldn't have access to King Cold and Frieza's respective DNAS too from the two Frost Demons never having gone to Planet Earth. Which would have meant that Imperfect Cell would have been even weaker than Fourth Form Frieza (100% Maximum) from the Namek Saga and would have been defeated by the hands of the Z-Fighters just like the other last surviving remnants of the Red Ribbon Army.

Considering the obvious fact that with such drastic changes happening many years before Son Goku's contraction of the Heart Virus, it could be very possible that Son Goku might have gotten the Heart Virus at a much later time. Like what had happened in the very beginning of the Androids Saga with Son Goku feeling the effects of the Heart Virus when Android 20 and Android 19 would have ambushed the likes of Yamcha. Especially since Son Goku would have never achieved Super Saiyan and instead would have been working on mastering the Kaioken and the Spirit Bomb techniques he had learned from King Kai.

So this reminds me of something I've been wondering about for a while when you mentioned Beerus and his inability r y to desfroy immortal beings. Note, I know Beerus himself said this and I'm just speculation but, do you think just any immortality is too much for Beerus or was it specifically the Super Dragon Balls? Would he have been able to erase Garlic Jr since his inmortality came from the weakest set of dragon balls in the show or would even that have been too much?

The thing is that I am pretty sure the DESTRUCTO DISK works similarly to the SPECIAL BEAM CANNON, in that their ability to do their purpose depends on the power the user puts into the move. These moves are really strong but if the user isn't strong enough than they wouldn't be able to use the moves as intended. I don't think Krillin would have able to defeat the Androids for example since the power gap is just so huge. His DESTRUCTO DISK may cut into them a little bit, but it wouldn't cut them in half. The scenarios you describe here may be more possible if Vegeta used the move more, since he did learn the move from seeing Krillin use it in the saiyan sage. The android saga would have been boring though if Vegeta or Piccolo took out the androids with DESTRUCTO DISKS or SPECIAL BEAM CANNONS before Cell shows up.

I would have loved if Krillin evolved the destructo disc further, I really liked how he made them split versus frieza, I don't see why he wouldn't be able to take it further to the point that he could reduce the deadliness on purpose, like making it so the destructo disc disintegrates once it draws blood or smaller discs that aren't necessarily designed to kill the opponent but injure them to the point where they can't fight anymore by targetting fingers, arteries and other important body parts that prevent a fighter from fighting properly

The writers don't want a human outshining the saiyans. That's why Krillin never used his destructo disc at an opportune time. Plus, all the villains nowadays can regenerate effortlessly anyway.

Was entertaining but I think had a lot of curious decisions here. 1) Saiyan Saga Kienzan - Cell would not be able to go to space without a ship since he doesn't have Freeza's cells but since Bulma survived the Androids in the future time line, we can just assume he forced her to build him one. The androids and Cell himself would be nowhere near as strong without a Super Saiyan or Freeza measuring stick for Gero to use, but given that Gero somehow made 17 and 18 to be stronger than Super Saiyan by several times without even knowing of Super Saiyan, I can say that Cell could be around Final Form Freeza's power level. And personally I think you could have continued this what-if to reach some really interesting scenarios - such as Cell returning to Earth and maybe making androids or Cell Jr's himself. And of course a battle of Cell vs Buu would be very interesting since they both can regenerate like crazy, and any power gap Cell has would be covered by all the Zenkai he gets. 2) Freeza kienzan - seriously, what is stopping Supreme Kai and the powered up Z - fighters from slicing Dabura? Given the godly training, their decision to just end fights quickly, the human's tendency to not be arrogant, and Supreme Kai's ability to bind someone and the Solar Flare, I can see them taking down Dabura with maybe some casualties. Gohan would still be alive, but I am not counting him because of his complete lack of training. But if they need to, they could Hyperbolic Gohan and that could help. In this setting I can see the Kais training the Humans and Piccolo to reach great heights after defeating Buu. Kaioken, potential unleashed, and all kinds of magic the Kais know. Krillin could learn other cutting techniques like the Ki blade Vegito, Zamasu, and Goku Black use. And with Beerus, we could think of some scenario where Gohan becomes the Super Saiyan God, or maybe in this time line, Beerus brings Broly to earth but in a more friendly manner. I'm thinking Beerus may be more thankful to the Z-fighters for keeping - above all else, the Supreme Kai alive, and by extension Beerus himself. That combined with the good food and lack of nuisances like Buu would give Beerus very little reason to destroy Earth. If anything, there is a small possibility that Earth is now under Beerus' protection for at least a little bit. The non Saiyan Z-fighters other than Piccolo are vastly under utilized and I think there are plenty of things that could be done. The two big things being : 1 - The humans and Piccolo value tactics and winning over having a good fight 2 - And this one is big - Kaioken, Magic, Yardrat techniques, God Ki, and Ultra Instinct are not Saiyan exclusive. So if there are any big concerns regarding power levels, these could make up for it.

What is stopping Bulma from traveling through time to make sure Goku lives the heart virus in both scenarios? Or she just sends like Yaijarobe lol Also towards the topic of none of them standing a chance against Dabura, I feel Piccolo could have a shot of making it to ss2 level at the least if he was the major focus or if the Z sword ended up breaking. Since he is the strongest one there, he would most likely be the character that gets the unlock potential after all. Piccolo would still be stronger than both Supreme Kai and Frieza by the point of training with them, so I assume he would eventually be able to get the sword out. Plus Piccolo would have more than 20 years of training under his belt before fusing with Kami.

11:30 Are you sure? Everyone left of the Z Fighterz (the humans, Piccolo, Base Vegeta and Gohan) could ve teamed up to defeat Dabura. With Piccolo (that could've trained more after the Android Attack since age 767) being the Main Offense against Dabura, krilin might ve had a chance to use his strategy to cut Dabura in half if he was not turned into stone since everyone since the android attack would've taken new threats more serious without Goku being with them. If he was turned to stone by Dabura then, yeah, everyone is screwed if people like Tien could not have develop Techniques to stun the opponent like he did against Semi-Perfect Cell in the Main Timeline.

the issue with the androids is they were only able to become stronger than Frieza because Goku and Vegeta fought on earth and Gero analyzed the data and predicted how powerful goku could become by use of the Kaio-ken calculating that goku would continue to train and gain strength from the Senzu bean after also learning goku was an alien and had the Zenki ability in his DNA he was able to study the increases he had already recorded thus predicted how powerful goku would become with normal increases. on top of that the androids had unlimited energy so even if they were weaker than the fighters they never got tired they could fight far longer as 18 demonstrated in her fight with Vegeta when she not only had to switch to her full power but had to use the strategy of wearing down Vegeta by running around the area they were in. So in the first part of this theory the androids likely would be slightly to much weaker than the emperor depending on the data gero gathers from goku training as the tracker was destroyed when goku fought vegeta that was the last video he witnessed, in this new timeline he would not witness that battle at all and instead would only witness his training with gohan and piccolo. Also Gohan would likely be the first and only super saiyan as he was able to avoid dying by the androids for 13 years he would likely find the transformation, and piccolo would like live as well not wanting to leave gohan alone they would use the lookout as a base and home and the time chamber might get used by the pair if Piccolo doesnt fuse immediately with kami

I would like to extend this first hypothetical scenario. Babidi accompanied by Dabura would eventually encounter Cell. Control him & gather enough energy to revive Boo.

Um Carthu I noticed a problem with your stories Future Trunks may not exist but Future Bulma still does and she could give the warning about the androids I mean without Freeza as a threat she could show up near Goku’s home and give him the medicine and considering Bulma unlike Trunks is a much smarter and trusted individual than some random strong kid he might actually remember to take it odds are Chi-Chi trusting Bulma and being given this face to face would ensure Goku would take the medicine if he didn’t remember

Hey Carthu, just want to say that I really enjoy the videos you make. But i noticed that if frieza never came to earth cell wouldn’t be able to breath in space. I notice while listening to the first story.

interesting story ideas. I'd say take the 2nd version, though, and give Krillin the plot armor that is afforded Goku and run with it. Have Krillin learning new interesting transformations that are entirely Earthling based so that he becomes the protector of Earth. Then when Majin Buu comes around, have it be Krillin that takes him down. Also, with Gohon around, wouldn't he eventually break through the Super Saiyan barrier? During the Android Arc if nothing else. He'd see some of his good friends die and that could set him off, going Super and completely baffling the androids because they were not meant to battle beings so powerful. Sure, they still have the edge, but between a SSJ1 Gohon and a Plot Armored Krillin, they'd toast them. And Vegita may come back eventually looking for a one on one fight with Krillin since he stole the kill of Freeza, realizes Krillin, a lowly Earthling, has continued to surpass him, and sticks around much as he originally did. Let's make DBZ truly interesting. Let the Earthlings stand as Earths protectors and shine! Death to the Traitor, the Heretic, and the Xeno!

He also could have killed Cell with it. ( and yes I know that in anime it didn't do anything Cell in his perfect form, but the anime only did that to show how terrifying of a threat cell was. If I remember correctly the manga states that the Destructo disc cannot be blocked or tanked you have to dodge it)

It's just hit me on that heart virus topic. Bulma was the one, or at least capsule corp. Workers were the ones who came up with the cure. I'd assume they used earth based ingredients, so although it's not specified at all where the virus came from, it's most likely that if earth ingredients can cure it, it came from earth . Just a guess

Small thing here : Without Frieza's cells , Cell would not be able to travel into space. He can ofc. capture humans and force them to build him a spaceship, but thats about it. Oh and Piccolo now knowing where he came from would be curious at least and would want to travel to namek despite no real need. This would then propell goku to use the build starship and train on 100x gravity etc. because.... frieza is still there and running amok.

Gonna be honest, Piccolo probably can carry for the Buu Saga in the second What-If. Piccolo is training for 20 years, not to mention he also has 2 free HTC years and a gravity chamber he, or anyone else, could use. I'm fine with the Z-Fighters not being prepared for the Androids, but after 2 decades of training, I'd find it hard to believe that no one is strong enough to beat Dabura. Even then, Krillin could've just used the Kienzan, as in the point of this question. After that, Beerus would still go to Broly, no Dragon Balls = No Frieza, and no God Ki/Trunks = no Zamasu. The only arc I can see even possibly happening is Universe 6. In that case, it would be Broly (post-Whis training), then probably something along the lines of either King Cold or the Z-crew. Maybe the Z-crew takes some HTC time, or maybe Cold trained after his son's death, but either way, Broly after training with Whis should be able to beat Hit and everyone below him. ToP would still happen because Zeno was inspired by the Uni 6 Tournament (not Goku), and Uni 7's team would probably be Broly, Piccolo, King Cold, Krillin, Tien, Yamcha, Gohan (if he trains, if not idk), then maybe Moro and some of his allies, or some of Cold's soldiers like Tagoma or Shisami, or maybe Vegeta if they find him, or bring Goku back for a day. Regardless, Uni 7 loses, and Jiren wins. Jiren makes his selfish wish and all the universes are destroyed. The end, thank you for coming to my Ted Talk.

what you missed was that since piccolo never died, they never had to mention how there are also dragon balls on namek, leading freeza to never know about them in the first place

One thing you missed is Dr Gero made the Androids based on Goku power from his battles so if he was not fighting Vegeta and Nappa then Dr Gero wouldn't have enough info on how much stronger Goku become on King Kai's planet and made some miscalculations and therefore made the androids a lot weaker than they are. Just a theory.

Few things here Trunks timeline runs on multiverse theory, in short this new timeline would not affect his. The timeline trunks is in is the original timeline we should of had before he time travelled Cell can't breath in space with no frieza dna, he stated that its friezas dna that even allows him to survive. Cell would not be as.. Evil as usual, if anything he would be most like a good hearted saiyan due to the overwhelming amount of dna from good people. Cell wouldn't of been more powerful than frieza due to the fact the androids wouldn't even be close to a super saiyans level, he would most likely end up being as strong as goku was when he got out of the healing chamber after absorbing the androids. Not to mention he got a big boost in his first form because he absorbed quite a few towns and even trunks Thats just a lil bit thanks for your time

Even in dbz abridged the other characters questioned why krillin didn't utilize this technique against powerful foes like dodoria or especially Frieza when he had WIDE openings

If Cell doesn’t have Freeza or Cold’s DNA, he might not be able to survive in space. And so maybe Freeza would be the winner of that fight, by cheating I mean. Maybe this’ll motivate Freeza to train. Freeza might create a Cell-themed form as opposed to the Super Saiyan-themed ‘Golden’ form he invented after losing to Goku and Trunks. This Freeza, assuming he’s at all similar in power to Golden Freeza, would probably have enough energy to wake up Buu if he ever fights someone. Maybe Babidi would attack the Freeza Force for energy to wake up Buu. Maybe Babidi would curse King Cold withy he Majin Curse? However it goes down, I figure unless Buu surprises Freeza and absorbs him, Freeza would definitely win. When Beerus wakes up looking for a Super Saiyan God, Whis would take him to Vampa. Which may mean Broly Black. It’s possible Broly Black wiping out mortals would lead to a fight between a Broly Black that doesn’t know how to control his power, and a ‘Golden’ Freeza that hasn’t mastered his Golden Form. Unless he mastered it after his fight with Majin Buu. Either way, it’s possible Freeza, Broly, Paragus, Majin Buu, Babidi, King Cold, Ginyu, and or Togama, only five of them I mean, fight in the tournament of destroyers. If a tournament of Power happens, it’d be down to Broly and Freeza, and maybe Frost and Kale, and Hit too?, against Jiren to determine the winner. Hopefully the winner wishes to restore the universes, otherwise we’re doomed.

I wonder... What if Krillin had God Ki. His Destructo Disk would be the easiest and sneakiest way to get rid of people wihtout God Ki. Some situations like "Oh wow, what a nice yellow frisbee. I can'T sense anything dangerous from i..." and the villain got sliced into two parts.

This makes me wonder, how did Goku contracted the Heart Virus on Earth? Was it how he lived as a kid? Or from the hospital after the Saiyan saga?

Another idea: What if vegeta used the destructo disc against frieza in their fight? Like COME ON, DUDE LITERALLY HAD IT AFTER THE FIGHT ON EARTH AND HE SAW HOW POWERFUL IT WAS, WHY DIDN’T HE USE IT *AT ALL* AFTERWARDS?

Its kinda funny, the PRIME timeline that is the way the universe was created and was the intended path for all life on earth to die to the hands of the androids. And Cell to be perfect. Trunks created another timeline that was NEVER meant to be, breaking universal laws. So Cell wreck havoc on the universe, and after all those years with INSANE potential he would most likely kill Buu with ease. Beerus would awaken and Broly would be the SSJ God he heard about, and i imagine more people would try to escape big planets to survive cell. So Broly meets Chileei, they somehow end up on Beerus planet completing the sage fish prophecies.
