I dunno. Jango defeated Master Trebor with ease and if we're counting Legends, Komari Vosa. He almost defeated Obi Wan also. They all had far more training than Kylo. I think Jango would probably win tbh.
He caught Trebor off guard. Any fast shooter could kill him with ease in that case. And he had lots of Boba’s help during the Kenobi fight, where Kenobi wasn’t even trying to kill him, making the fight MUCH more difficult for Kenobi. Kenobi also didn’t get a single scratch during that fight. Jango also doesn’t use the force while Kylo does, and Jango isn’t enhanced in any way. Kylo could simply freeze him and end the fight

And he wasn’t that powerful in the force shown in the fact that he didn’t use the force to his advantage when attacked by Jango. And yeah he had been trained to fight Jedi, but that doesn’t mean he’d give an actual good fight to a powerful one. He could fight some Jedi knights and very possibly win in a fair fight yeah. He actually did do that once against 6 of them. But when it comes to Jedi Masters, he ain’t beating one in a fair fight. Just look at the Kenobi fight. Kenobi wasn’t even trying to kill him yet he still needed his sons help in the Slave I and barely escaped
Kylo was wounded and also emotionally unstable and raw from killing Han and seeing Finn (“traitor”), and Finn has CQC training as a stormtrooper. Kylo wins easy normally but TFA plot lets it be a bit more fair
The god damn badass clone army that we all know and love like Rex, Cody & Fives were all cloned from that GOAT. Kylo won't even have time to ignite his lightsaber before Jango puts him 6 feet under.
imo makes 0 sense that jango would loose. Kylo couldn't defeat rey who had 0 training in the force awakens while jango has been shown to kill many more powerful jedi before. The whole arguement that hes a skywalker has very little effect as shown in the movies where hes very weak.

I may be slightly biased towards jango winning but I do think he would have won. I would describe Kylo as a blunt instrument, jango is more precise calm and calculated. I think kylo would be too arrogant and completely underestimate jango because he isn't force sensitive. And also he is still young and inexperienced. I consider kylo to be kinda like anakin from episode 2. And Anakin was incapacitated by dooku in like 3 seconds the quote "I'm taking him now!" Comes to mind lol. I think jango could've bested anakin in episode 2. Jango was chosen because of his ability to take down jedi and took them on completely outnumbered. That's why I got to give him the win.

I think another thing to consider is that the jedi aren't normally trying to kill jango when fighting. Maybe the circumstances are different because Kylo is fighting intending to kill.

Jango Fett has more battle experience. Way more. The true mandalorians may have been small. But they are the pedigree of thousands of years of training. Kylo Ren struggled with accepting the dark side and even got redeemed. He was being manipulated the entire time. Let’s say he wasn’t. He still doesn’t have the battle experience or had adequate time to fully submerge himself in the dark side like Vader. The years of killing and enforcing evil.

Kylo can literally stop blaster bolts, Kenobi couldn't. It's not a matter of who's stronger, but what power sets they have. It's more like rock paper scissors than a DBZ style power level chart.
Actually Jango would win, especially if he does what Kylo's grandfather would do and what HK-47 recommends is instilling doubt. Even if it doesn't fully cut Kylo's connection with force, it would do just enough for him to make mistakes. Not to mention Jango has killed Dark Jedi such as Komari Vosa that was trained by Count Dooku himself that brought Jango to Kamino to start with and eventually brought Bobba into the world via unaltered cloning.

I mean to be fair if they gave Kylo a better backstory or at least make his story development a little more better yet interesting instead of getting his ass handled by Rey he would be a badass dark force user but even him aka Adam Driver couldn't save the sequel trilogy. I mean don't get me wrong I like his Mask and the cross guard lightsaber but again its his story that needs alot of work especially with him and Snokes backstory. Theres alot of questions about him that hasn't been answered.
Yeah also if he learnt how to fight because he lost to Rey the first time she held a lightsaber and lost to Rey every other time despite have at least a decades trainer over her probably more
Jango would've defeated him in 3 moves, avoiding the possibility of Kylo recovering from that initial element of surprise. Because he knows once Kylo figures him out, its over. Jango doesn't kill him, but instead leaves him embarrassed and confused as to how a non-force user could've accomplished such a feat. Kylo would say "dew it... kill me". to which Jango would reply "There's no credits in it." And blast off toward his ship.
No question Jango would win. He's killed better jedi. Kylo would start losing and throw a fit. Very well done though, I could actually see the fight in my minds eye the way you described it plus the editing.
Yeah an that tantrum may work on Finn, Poe an Rey but against the likes of someone like Jango in a death dual.. think the video is way biased here. That'd been fatal.

He gave Obi Wan a run for his money and Mace only killed him because he was one of the most powerful Jedi. Kylo is not anywhere NEAR as powerful as Kenobi or Mace... You are downplaying Kylo a little too much. He is powerful. In fact he’s probably more powerful than Obi-Wan in terms of the force. Im not saying he would beat Obi-Wan, I’m just saying he’s not THAT far behind.
@@Jason-it5kz Okay, watched. Was actually a pretty good representation of their skills. My ONLY change I would make to this fight is how Theory says the dark side gives Kylo focus. While that may be true for other Sith, if anything, when Kylo gets into his rage he becomes chaotic and, I'd argue, unfocused. ex. his first fight with Rey... and also his last fight with Luke. I think that crucial detail tips the fight in Jango's favor.
@@Porkradish789 No, Maul beat Vizla with relative ease but you need to take into notice is that Maul did not once use the force in that fight. He wanted the Mandalorians to see that he took the mantle fairly and so he went easy on Vizla. The same would not happen with Jango, although it would be more difficult, I do believe Maul will prevail.

tbh if this kylo from duel of the fates i think this duel would ended far quicker given tor valum ( and when it was written he was the master to plagueis and given he taught kylo everything he knew its safe to assume he did the same with plagueis and plagueis taught palpatine everything or almost everything he knew ) so kylo was palpatine level maybe even near the power of a mortis god ( with valums origins being implied to be mortis ) so given kylo was hungry for life force i think he would of force drained jango before much could happen
Kylo would lose with the way he was in the movies we got.. with a teacher like how they made luke to be.. if luke was the real luke.. kylo wont be such a loser.. luke wont have pulled out his lightsaber at a kid that could have turned bad.. luke was right about the good in Vader.. of all the darkness Vader was.. luke saw the light in him.. kylo would have been so powerful.. he had the potential to be a better luke just as luke was better then anakin.. What if Windu survived and trained Ben Solo? You could write a story that kylo is easily defeated by windu, and as he hates his uncle and Snoke is dead, he follows Windu who claims he can bring a balance to Ben's confused state
Nah man, don't compare capable force sensitives to bounty hunters. This is similar to Boba vs Asajj Ventress. If you're not bias, Asajj would literally smoke Boba. She would just disarm Boba and then force choke him and take his helmet off and chop his head off.
Being completely unbiased here I’m giving the win Kylo. 7/10 he takes the win, Jango definitely could kill him in a variety of ways, he’s killed plenty of Jedi, even without weapons, but that’s where the key differences Kylo is not a Jedi he has access to different abilities that many Jedi did not have also when he goes to fight, he goes to kill, not arrest or subdue. Jedi holdback, Sith, and dark side users do not. Jango would definitely give him a hard time, but I think through power alone Kyylo takes the win more times than not. A great match up to be sure I hope to see more reminds me of the old content you used to make great work as always.
Jango matched Obi-Wan, killed Coleman Trebor with ease, and killed Komari Voss and multiple Jedi with his bare hands. Plus, Order 66 was Jango’s revenge for what the Jedi did to his True Mandalorians. “They’ll do their job well, I’ll guarantee that.” By far the greatest Bounty Hunter ever in Star Wars, and possibly the greatest Mandalorian warrior ever. He lost quickly to Mace because the Reek busted his jetpack, which he wasn’t aware of, and he also lost one of his custom made WESTAR-34 blasters to Kenobi on Kamino. Jango was much more dangerous and lethal with both of his blasters, and I doubt that Mace would’ve been able to charge at him if Jango was firing both of them instead of just one. The WESTAR-34’s were some of the most powerful blasters. It’s like Ahsoka losing one of her lightsabers. She’s still a great fighter, but definitely not on the same level.
Mandalorians train from youth to fight and beat Force users. From their gear to weapons to fighting styles and constant study of Force using enemies, and enemies of all sizes, styles and abilities, i believe Jango would have beaten Ren pretty fast and easily.
I have an idea for a video! Something that I've been wondering is why it was so easy for mace to beat Jango? I know Mace has his abilities like shatter point but still it seemed a bit tooooo easy for him. I would've liked to see more of a battle between them back in the day lol. Jango died so quickly to Mace because he messed up. His jetpack was damaged and when he tried to use it to get some distance from Mace, it didn't work and he didn't have enough time to react to that mess up before Mace came in and decapitated him
So a few observations I see in the comments. Many focus on Kylo's Episode 7 performance. Many factor in Jango's non movie exploits also, or even legends. Kylo's non-movie acomplishments aren't really discussed probably cause few have read the source material which is understandable if you don't like the era. Kylo has trained for nearly 20 years, he's not a novice like some comments claim. This is a Kylo that summoned a storm that destroyed the Jedi Temple and killed students. He killed a Zillo Beast. He extracted information from Poe Dameron using the Force, not a Force user, but certainly not a weak minded person. Is this comparison with Jango both at their peak? If so, Kylo in Episode 9 is what needs judging. A Kylo who was defeating Rey, a Rey who had trained at this point, negating points made in many comments about losing to an untrained Rey in TFA, before he feels his mother dying. He didn't lose the duel, his mother's death distracted him, just like his father's murder distracted him which got him shot with the bowcaster, which affected his ability in the ensuing duel. Episode 7 Kylo beats Jango, Episode 9 Kylo definitely beats Jango. Kylo's main issues are with emotional distractions. Jango would not provide that in such a matchup. It would be business for Kylo. Like it was on Jakku when he froze a blaster shot mid air that was fired from behind by someone hiding. Kylo wins this. Sequels vs Prequels likability doesn't matter. Character writing doesn't matter. It's a simple matchup.
I'm team Fett but honestly I seen this outcome. Keep in mind Ren could have just frozen him in place and killed him with a spoon. He gave Jango an honorable fight, Kylo always was a diet Sith. Full potential Kylo just kills him without being stabbed and beaten.
I know Jango Fett took down Komari Vosa from Star Wars Bounty Hunter but hadn't heard him taking down any others. Him defeating Komari Vosa is what impressed Count Dooku to make him the template for the clone army.
I do like Kylo the most of any sequel character, but I’d say Jango takes this. Kylo can take an absolute beating and keep going strong but Jango will find an opening, and Jango wouldn’t waste his opening on a blow to the abdomen, he’s going for the neck/head/heart. He’s too accurate and proficient to be wasting an opening like that when he gets it. Tldr, Kylo’s strengths are tenacity, durability and force abilities. Jango has lethality and battle IQ + every dirty trick known to bounty hunters Jango has killed many Jedi in various conditions, and Kylo has no known experience fighting bounty hunters. His only fight against a non-force user was against Finn, a janitor, and that went horribly. Kylo is brash and undisciplined, Jango will put him down the second he makes his first mistake
Kylo Ren killed Younglings and lost the first light saber battle of his life while Jango Fett killed many trained Jedi with nothing but his bare hands 🙌
Listen, I hate the sequels and dislike what they did with Kylo’s character, but there’s no debating that he is very powerful and beats most Jedi Masters
I like how people keep saying he lost to a girl who didnt even hold a lightsaber but the only reason why he was weak against rey was because of his feelings he created for rey. His feelings for her kept pulling kylos punches. Dont forget how kylo had that dawg in him in the comics Disney jus nerfed the shit outta him. You mfs are underpowering kylo woth the most ridiculous excuses 💀
Kylo is extremely overrated by everyone! He couldn't even beat the knights of ren, he is only ever protected by plot armour. Get your mind out of the gutter
@@Lucie-zw3cf Everything you said is wrong mf. He beat the knights of Ren quite easily in the span of like a minute, and never has had plot armour, it would actually make more sense to say that all his opponents had it like Rey and Finn
I respect your opinion and all Theory but i personally think that Jango would win this match as he fought Jedi who were fighting in the clone wars and most of these Jedi would whoop Kylo in a fight and Jango was able to kill them with his hands.
there should be a deadliest warrior style star wars show. bring back David Wenham as the announcer so we can get more, "Who? Is? DEADLIEST!!" Can do like Boba vs Grievous, Vader vs Maul, Palpatine vs Bane, and stuff like that
I like the use of his rage at the end of it, although I think Jango would have taken the w once he stabed him in the gut. I also this a battle between kylo and the grand inquisitor would be interesting, the variety of different styles they use in battle would be cool to see, the inquisitor's cool and collected fighting style compared to kylos erratic style. Kylo would most likely win out of brute force but it would be an interesting fight.
Winning against a light side Jedi Knight opponent who will not resort to cheap tricks is one thing. Winning against a dark side opponent who will use any trick, along with force choke and/or force crush is another. Then we all saw how Jango fared against a Jedi Master. Yet this is a good question. Since, Kylo Ren isn't Sith, nor was he trained by a Sith. So, the fight may have been able to go either way.
Kylo is pretty powerful and has skywalker blood. As a son of Leia who could’ve been as powerful as Luke, he could definitely beat even the best bounty hunters
I’d say that the only things going against Kylo is that he’s undisciplined and temperamental. Jango captures Kylo hoping to collect a bounty. Later on Kylo kills Jango.
These “what ifs” were the reason I subscribed many years ago and I recently re subbed when I heard you were doing them again. I really like this video but I think Jango has defeated better, more trained force users. I just can’t imagine him loosing to an untrained force user as blind in rage as Kylo is. I know he got a lot of good hits in but I think Kylo would have lost before being able to defeat Jango. Great video though. I can’t wait for more.
Why did Jango get disoriented from his helmet being removed? I'm thinking it's like when being in a dark room for awhile and then going into the sunlight and it's super bright and impossible to keep your eyes open for a minute. Otherwise I wouldn't think removing ones helmet would make them disoriented but I could be totally wrong! Note* I guess with it being pulled off with the force it could add in to the disorientation
